When Amanda Prescott hired sexy ex-Marine Jake Wilcox to head her company's security, the lonely widow began to yearn for the hunky thirty-something to keep her safe and sound--and satisfied in bed. Jake knows the curvy boss lady wants everything he's got--and needs everything he's hot to deliver. On a flight to Dubai, he decides to help her reach new heights of sexual power. But when they come down to earth, will Jake and Amanda decide their encounter was only a few hours of mile-high ecstasy--or a lasting love affair?

Power Position gave me a different take on the typical power plays by executives. It told the story of Amanda Prescott, a corporate big-shot and one of her deals that she was working on.

Amanda is a fifty year-old widow who built her husband's company into world class corporation since his death four years previously. Unfortunately, she needed a male figure to help with the current deal taking place in Dubai. Amanda hires a bodyguard who has everything she requires but she’s afraid to close a personal deal with Jake.

Jake Wilcox is an ex-Marine who is big, brawny and brainy. I know I wouldn’t let a little thing like age stand in my way if he were to pursue me. Jake’s biggest challenge is getting Amanda to realize that age is but a number and his feelings are genuine. When Jake confesses to being alone in the world, I wanted to adopt him into my family.

I liked how everything was set in modern times. From the Lear Jet to the boardroom in Dubai where the deal was made, I could relate to everything and place in the story. Power Play is a good story that reminds me not to let any opportunity slip by.
