If you bake it, he will come.

Naomi Keller receives a mysterious cookbook on her doorstep. Bake a cake, and a hot, sexy man arrives at your door, ready for action. But there's a catch, not every recipe is a winner and she has to act fast before the right one slips through her fingers. Can Naomi find true love in a cookbook? She'll have to find out, one recipe at a time.

"The idea for BEEF CAKE came to me over a year ago. I wanted to write something fun and sexy, and because I love to bake, the plot was a natural. When I brainstormed about which cakes Naomi would use, it was so much fun coming up with men who fit the recipe's name!" ~Kris~

Imagine baking a cake and finding your true love. Now who would not want that? Food and love all in one? It gives a new meaning to the saying have your cake and eat it too! I know I certainly would not mind trying a few recipes out myself.

When Naomi Keller receives her grandmother’s old cookbook, the mayhem begins. With her feisty roommate to encourage her, Naomi begins the ride of her life: trying different recipes to find that special one.

With a whole cookbook of cakes to try you can just imagine the fun that ensues. Can Naomi choose the right recipe? She must read through the book carefully. A few mishaps and recipes later has she finally found the right one? Naomi hopes and trusts she will make the right decision and has the reader rooting for her as well.

This was a fast paced story filled with lots of spice and a little bit of humor mixed in. It was a great read and very interesting concept. What a new twist on an old adage!
