Nothing twists you up quite like love…

When she interrupts what looks like a tryst in her fiancé’s office, former heiress Krista James has only one thought: “It’s over!” True, they both signed a marriage contract that didn’t include a love clause. But she’ll be damned if she gives the two-timer the satisfaction of knowing she gave up her heart along with her hand.

How to say goodbye to a man who makes her forget her own name in bed, and all her principles everywhere else? Simple. Run.

CPA-on-the-rise David Ellison thinks everything is perfect. Perfectly planned, perfectly ordered, perfectly moving forward. Until he arrives late—again—for a lunch date. Suddenly he has a broken engagement, a guilty receptionist and a missing fiancée.

Tracking her down is easy. She’s traded their honeymoon tickets for a luxury holiday for one. Reasoning with her? Impossible. Especially since they always seem to end up in bed, in the shower, on the floor…everywhere but at an understanding.

David didn’t follow his woman all the way to Tahiti to return home empty-handed. To get her back, he’s even prepared to empty his heart of all his secrets.

Question is…is he prepared for hers?

Warning: Emotionally repressed, sexually gifted accountant on the loose in Tahiti, intent on seducing his lady back into his life and completely redefining the phrase “awesome lei”. Mai Tais and fresh ice recommended to counter the extreme sexual heat.

Krista has just about had enough of her fiancé David either being late or just plain brushing her off. So what is a determined girl to do? She marches on over to his office only to discover that the reason he is late is because he is having sex with his secretary in his office chair. Disgusted and hurt beyond belief Krista changes their honeymoon reservations and books her flights for Tahiti.

David, an analytical mind at its best, is Krista’s accountant and her fiancé who just can’t get his priorities straight, including giving his fiancé the time of day and attention she needs.

When David becomes aware that Krista saw his secretary and her boyfriend having sex and assumed the worst, he rushes to her. But the two have many issues, and once it is understood that David did not in fact cheat on Krista the can of worms is already open on all their problems.

Krista can’t take it anymore and leaves him for good with David hot on her heels.

Not taking no for an answer David pursues Krista to where she has befriended four gay men in the bungalow next to hers. They make her realize that her relationship with David didn’t get to the point of no return due only to his neglect. She is responsible for letting the relationship go this far without being honest with him and telling him how she feels.

Through humorous encounters with fantastic secondary characters drifting in and out of the story, this love gone wrong romance will capture your heart until the last page. This story with Krista and David is addictive and you can’t help root for them to work out their issues and find a way back to love. A well-written, really beautiful story, it makes you realize that to take a little you must be willing to give as well. I highly recommend it.
