Whoever said Lightning and High Adventure don't mix? Tara Michaels, student of Asiatic History and avid learner of Mongolian studies, is struck by lightning. What should have been a demonstration of horseback melee fighting for her classmates, turned into a fight for her life on the snow coated forests of Mongolia. Not only that, she discovers that she's not only in the wrong place, but the wrong time. Literally.

Paired with a sinfully sensual Mongol warlord, will Tara be able to find out what destiny awaits her on the Steppes? Or, more importantly, will she be able to find her way home with her heart intact?

16th Century Mongolia and present day do not seem to have anything to do with each other but this sweeping panoramic tale involves traveling through time to prevent a cataclysmic catastrophe from destroying our modern world.

Tara Michaels is a Mongolian history buff and a re-enactor of ancient fighting techniques. When she was caught in the storm and the lightening hit, I didn’t know if she was alive or dead. Tara has endured so much already in her life with her parents throwing her out. I just wanted her to be well and happy. She finds herself thrown back in time to the Wolverine Clan in the middle of a battle that she basically singlehandedly wins for the clan. Again, I cried for how much pain one person is left to endure as Tara is severely injured.

The story gets very complex with hunting a Chinese assassin from the present day who also has traveled back in time, fighting a Norse shaman, and saving the future first Dali Lama. Add to that an exceptional amount of present day minor characters that are reincarnated back to the past in animal forms and are able to communicate only with Tara about not only the past happenings but the present day ones as well.

I was so happy that Tara seemed to have found someone who cared for her in the form of Suren Arslan. He not only is tall, dark and sexy according to Tara but I found out later that he is the son of the Khan and warlord of the tribe. Suren cares for Tara and it showed in every touch he gave her. From his carrying her to his gentle kisses and the careful way he dressed and undressed Tara, his love was shown in his every move. I hoped that he would be the one to fill her life full of the love she deserved.

With Tara’s crazy parents trying to kill her, I loved how seamlessly the story moved back and forth from present to past. Each time Tara had to return to the future, I cried for what she left behind and for the pain she returned to.

There are many characters in this book, each with their own story and many which play parts in both past and future. I loved how Ms. Taylor dedicated research to a unique time period paid off as it pulled me into the beauty that is 16th century Mongolia. The clothing and yurts, the clans and their movements were described in such vivid detail; I felt that I was experiencing life with the Wolverine Clan.

Majestic Lion is an intense book that had my emotions running the gamut from tears to joy and hate to love and happiness. I know that this is one book I will be reading again.

Sometimes, when you reach the end of the road, you find a twist you didn’t expect. A hill rises, a trail breaks away and to your surprise, the end has become the beginning.

Lieutenant Milo Greene’s career is all that keeps him on his feet and functioning. He’s lost everyone he ever loved, and now, only the job holds him together. When he looks to the future, he sees no reprieve.

And then one day he looks up and sees his destiny standing in the doorway.

Darah Lash is the most powerful Thalian present on Earth. Yet, to his people, he is a second-class citizen. He came to Earth with the small, desperate hope that he would find a woman who would accept him, mate him, and eventually bear his children. What he doesn’t expect to find is love.

Grace Chen is a wrecked shell of a woman. Once admired and feared, she is now on the brink of death, fighting for every day, every hour. In a vision, she is told to wait for the miracle, but it hasn’t come yet. And if that miracle comes, will the cost be too high?

Three paths end, one road begins.

Destination: Black Planet.

I’ve read other stories by this author, and I’m always drawn into the worlds that Ms. McBride creates. “Black Planet: Tiger Eyes” was no exception. A future San Francisco, war torn and ruined, is a detailed setting that comes to life here, along with the rich characters of Milo, a human detective; Darah, an alien guardian, and Grace, a magnificently beautiful but damaged woman who’s fighting for survival.

Though the way these three come together is fairly predictable, it’s still a nice story to watch unfold. All have lots of baggage, but in each other’s arms they find not only super-hot loving, but also soul mates for all time. The conflict really takes a back seat in the story, and that was one of my chief complaints. Grace is a wanted woman, stalked by the evil Nakashima. And someone is kidnapping the women of Darah’s world. But none of those conflicts is ever really fleshed out. Instead, there is too much back story, right from the start, and too much narrative in which the author “tells” the story rather than “shows” it.

Ms. McBride is a talented author, and I’ll read more stories by her. But this one fell short of my usual expectations with its slower pace. Still, the detailed settings are well described, along with the multi-cultural, original characters who find their happy ending. In that respect, any reader of “Black Planet: Tiger Eyes” will be pleased.

A collection of L.E. Bryce's bestselling stories in the Water Lovers series.

Ki'iri: When Daro, the grandson of a fisherman, encounters a strange, seductive creature from the sea, he can only wonder. And when the sentient hrill turns out to be a beautiful young man in disguise, Daro knows his life will never be the same again.

Becoming: A mysterious young man washes ashore on the beaches of Sirilon and is taken by the Lady of the Waters as one of Her sacred consorts. A shy artist, Ninion soon finds himself wooed by the persistent, handsome Olenwe. Can Ninion accept the love of another male, and what is the secret he so fearfully guards?

Still Life: First time in print!

Neither a novel nor an anthology, this collection of three Sirilon stories flows seamlessly from one to the next, as stories so involved with water should. Though each was originally published on its own for Forbidden Fruit Magazine, common themes thread through them and plot lines intertwine, allowing the collection to stand as its own work. The Water Lovers refer to the talevé, the sacred consorts of the Water Goddess, touched by her and transformed into young men of such beauty that they are a danger to themselves and those around them if left to live in normal society. The talevé live protected, secluded lives and are not permitted contact with women. Happily for the reader, they have each other.

The first story, Ki’iri, is in many ways the most poignant. While in some ways a coming out story, it is certainly not a traditional one, since the protagonist falls hard for a man he has never even seen. The eventual lovemaking is wonderful and sensual, but it is this connection of souls that makes Bryce’s pairings so satisfying. Her lovely descriptions, never overdone, paint the settings in fairytale, jewel-like tones as we see here: His window faced west, and he marveled at the luxury of real glass as he watched the sunset turn the diamond-cut panes to molten red and gold. This spare sentence transports the reader while also informing her that Daro’s window faces the sea and that he has always been poor.

The second and third stories, Becoming and Still Life, both concern an unusual talevé, a young man with no sense of his own worth and a fear of others he is unable to explain. Olenwë, big, boisterous and often coarse, finds himself drawn to this antisocial recluse who hides behind his hair and is unable to recall his own name. In a move equal parts arrogance and tender concern only possible in a young man, Olenwë decides to give him a name of his choosing, Ninion, rather than wait for him to remember his own. The underlying themes of intolerance and learned self-loathing could easily have been heavy-handed in another writer’s grip but Bryce maintains an astounding balance of these lighter moments in the midst of emotionally charged issues.

My intention had been to read one story a day. Unable to stop, I finished before dinner and wished there had been more. Anyone can write sex. It is far rarer for a writer to paint it in such a way that the reader both devours it and cares about the outcome. The world of Sirilon is a siren song across the waves; it teases and tugs at you, mind and heart. A wonderful companion book to Bryce’s longer Sirilon works, these stories weave a marvelous spell, sensual and poignant, sweet and thought-provoking. Obviously, I recommend it highly to lovers of erotic fantasy but writing like this transcends genre lines to please any lover of well-crafted fiction.

Taboo – two tales of dark, forbidden pleasure…

Decadence - Group sex is a forbidden fruit, a social taboo. Cameron knows her lover, Vince, has experimented in the past, and she is increasingly turned on by thoughts of sex with more than one person. Deciding to take matters into her own hands, Cameron forms a plan with her best friend – one night of unbridled, no holds barred, sexual experimentation. One night that will bring two couples closer than they’ve ever been.

Darkness - Mia is a criminal psychologist who has fallen in love with professional thief, Dylan Benjamin. They share a violent childhood, and Mia finds in Dylan understanding and acceptance, as well as a craving for rough sex. After helping him escape from prison, Dylan comes to claim what is his and Mia finally succumbs to her hidden desire for forbidden lust.

Have you ever wanted to try something, but didn’t have the nerve to do it? Have you ever needed to be close to someone only to succumb to the fear that the other person will push you away? Maybe it’s time to face the Taboo.

Enter the world of Cameron in Decadence. She’s got the man of her dreams in her arms and loving best friends in her life, but she seeks something a bit more.

In Darkness, Mia has an ordered safe life, but she yearns for the topsy-turvy life of habitual thief Dylan.

The reader can totally relate to the desires coursing through Cameron’s veins. She wants to try group sex, but not just with anyone. I enjoyed the steaminess of both stories, but found the illegality of Darkness a bit too risqué. I applaud Ms. Sanderson for allowing her imagination and storytelling to flow to places where others don’t always venture. The boldness makes the story interesting and captivating.

If you enjoy ménage stories with a twist of adventure, then the novella Taboo is for you. I give this work 4 cherries.

In the world of the Shumani, there is only one female per pack. She is their umma Shumani, their queen. But with the privilege of being protected by the handsome wolf-shifters who love her comes the responsibility to keep the pack intact -- and when Sarah Hartwell encounters Kar, the dark, savage son of the renegade Hunt, it’s a responsibility she’s not sure she can live up to.

The way he watches her as if he wants to eat her alive sends tingles down her spine. At the same time it frightens her, all the more so because she’s never seen him assume human form. But Sarah is determined to find a way to bring Kar into the loving circle shared by herself, Larak and Kam…

This story picks up precisely where the first story left off, only this time the focus is upon one of the outcast members of the pack instead of the new queen. She is, of course, integral to the story but I found this to be more about an outcast, a loner who has never been truly accepted by the pack and his path to redemption.

Sierra Dafoe does a good job of developing Kar into a character you feel for and wondering when things will turn to his favor. Unfortunately, the other members of the pack are less developed in this volume and though the story was enjoyable, I hope to see more depth of character in the upcoming volumes. Larak and Kam were more eye candy, so to speak, with their vivid erotic scenes but provided little to move the plot forward. The eldest of the pack gives good advice but otherwise seems to stay to the shadows.

Kar was definitely the star of the show... smoldering and hot. Sierra Dafoe writes an interesting story with incredibly arousing sex scenes, making this another winner in the "Call of the Wild" series.

Olivia Marsden enjoyed a fulfilling job with a top NYC publishing company, till the sacrifice of talent for the “bottom line” started to take a toll on her. She was tired of selling out and experiencing only superficial relationships with men. Now, her spoilt sister Fiona’s upcoming wedding is reminding her of just how lonely her life has become. All she had to look forward to was the daily grind and an evening at home with Italian takeout and an empty apartment, until one day, three weeks before the wedding, she received that strange phone call from the subject of her darkest, most secret fantasies...

Cole Evans is a high powered corporate lawyer with way too much on his plate. Six months ago, he had spotted full figured Olivia Marsden at his brother’s engagement party, and from then on, his mind was trained on one thing—possessing the lush temptress who haunted his dreams at night. All it would take was a good plan, an unusual proposal and a wedding as a backdrop to his game of seduction. In this game, there could be only one winner...their fierce passion for each other.

Olivia has always been "the other sister", the not so pretty, not so skinny sister. Olivia's sister Fiona is getting married to her fiance', Chad and Olivia is forced to feel inferior once again. Then she gets a call that Chad's brother, Cole would like to travel with her to the wedding so they can get to know each other. Cole and Olivia get to know each other better in a lot of fun exciting ways.

Mile High to Heaven was a sexy, fun and romantic read. Olivia's character felt less than perfect with her body type and thought that no man would spend time in a relationship long enough to get to know the brilliant person she was underneath. Cole's character was strong, sexy as hell and knew that voluptuous Olivia was the woman he wanted. It was love at first sight for Olivia and all she wanted was a relationship with this man. Together Cole and Olivia were scorching hot. I fell in love with Cole and Olivia and wished the story were longer. The ending was perfect, Angela Guillaume couldn't have written a more perfect ending. This is an author that I am sure is going to make people sit up and take notice. I would love to read more from Angela Guillaume as this one story has made her a new favorite of mine. Mile High to Heaven is a highly recommended read to anyone who loves erotic romantic books.

SEDUCTION IN MOONLIGHT A short story of the Love's Immortal Pantheon Anthology

When Selene is brought to earth by a mortal man, the passion she finds is one she cannot leave, yet she only has three nights of the Flower Moon to experience this wonder. When confronted by Zeus, she risks everything to stay with the man who has stolen her heart.

This is a twisted retelling of the Selene and Endymion story.

Moon Goddess seeks mortal male. Must know how to use weaponry, cunning, and her body for mutual pleasure. Fully submissive males need only apply.

Many erotic fantasy novels strive to titillate the reader. Not so with Seduction in Moonlight. Ms. DeRicci’s novel shows that erotica can be beautiful and tasteful while staying true to the genre. Her sweeping descriptions of the landscape and costumes of the characters add to the overall allure. Her conflict worked well because everyone goes through times in their lives where they need something with their entire being and have to learn to give in order to take. Her hero, Edmon gave into Selene’s advances a bit quickly, but with time a factor, this didn’t bog down the story, and in fact it made it stronger. I came away loving this story and the characters.

Do you like warriors with hearts of gold? Are you a fan of goddesses who like to break the rules? Then check out Seduction in Moonlight. I give this story four cherries!

Detective Nick D'Amato has always been content with his lack-of-commitment love life. For a gay cop in the don't ask-don't tell N.Y.P.D., free and easy always seemed the least complicated route.

William, the new man in his life, has Nick rethinking his priorities. Will's perspective on life and love is different than anything Nick has ever encountered, making him that much more desirable.

The two men are compatible in every way except one, and it's a huge divider. Both are stubborn, neither willing to compromise, until a serial slasher enters their lives. A growing stack of dead bodies has the police running in circles, sending Nick and Will into a nightmare that could change their lives forever.

This fast-paced story will have you flipping pages faster than you can imagine! From beginning to end, “Dancing in the Dark” has non-stop action and a great love story. Nick (a vice cop) and William (a street hustler) have a complicated relationship, and it definitely has its ups and downs. Mixed in with the heart-pounding anxiety of a serial killer, both plots will keep your attention as you wonder who exactly is responsible for all the killings – and what role William might play in them.

I did think some of the dialogue was a little awkward at times, but overall it doesn’t take away from the story. The scenes with Nick and William are both super-hot and touching, because there’s a love between them along with a great chemistry. I’ll admit that for a while, though, I couldn’t quite believe that a cop would be sleeping with a hustler. That part of the story is the only thing that keeps me from giving this story a higher rating.

Overall, though, “Dancing in the Dark” will keep your attention from beginning to end. I dare you to try and put it down!

Ian Bennett is sexy and intriguing, but is he the right man for Julie? She’s longed to find a lover who’ll meet her sexual fantasies, but she knows from past experience how badly things can go when you fall for the wrong man.

It’s up to Ian to convince her that he’s the perfect Dominant to meet her submissive needs, not just for one night, but for a lifetime.

Ian Bennett wants a woman who’ll stand beside him all day, but when the lights go out, he needs to be the dominant force in her life. Julie Youngman isn’t sure she can be that woman, but she’s also never backed down from a sexy challenge.

I loved this novel because it mirrored real life so well. Women can relate to Julie. Ian sends her chocolates and asks for a date. Because she’s afraid he’ll be a bore, she initially turns him down. Who hasn’t made that sort of decision and wished they could change the outcome? Dominant Games shows what can happen when the urge to say no turns into the desire to shout yes. My favorite part included Ian’s ridiculous, yet sexy, idea of chaining her to the bed. In his male mind, it’s a perfect plan – he gets the girl and she gets him. When she bluntly tells him what she thinks of his plan, I rooted for her gumption all the way. Although the love scenes are blunt, that only adds to the sexiness of the story.

This novel shows that even punishment doesn’t have to be a bad thing when it’s administered correctly. I give Dominant Games 4 ½ cherries! Kudos!

Hugh has put his marketing talents to work for the store he owns with his friends, The Fantastic Five. He knows a hunk when he sees one, and the broken action figure has model material written all over his muscled body. Hugh repairs him and places the figure in the center of his new ad campaign. But when Hugh finishes taking the photos, the figure, magically returned to life, comes out from behind the camera and into Hugh’s life.

A model before he was a soldier and then an enchanted action figure, Talon is no stranger to the camera. The handsome man behind it, however, is completely new and all his. Talon is determined to show Hugh that a picture is worth a thousand kisses. But inside his chest beats the heart of a hero, and when he interrupts a robbery, he’s wounded, and Talon might lose not only his magazine-cover good looks, but Hugh.

You’ll never look at an action figure the same way again! Injured in battle, Talon is given a second chance at life – a real life – by the Toymaker. Mary Winter begins to weave her magical tale from there, bringing Talon to Earth solely for Hugh.

I love the freshness of the idea – bringing an action figure to life in order to help a marketing agent help his friends save their struggling comic store. Talon is the perfect action hero – handsome, built, and slightly cocky, and yet, still sweet and seductive. Hugh and his band of friends are the kind of people I’d hang out with on a Friday afternoon – lots of fun and teasing with this lot. The instant attraction between our heroes is spontaneous and hot!

Whether you’re a fan of comic books and action figures or not, this story is sure to appeal to you. A charismatic action figure turned male model and a hunky, if workaholic marketing agent desperate to help his friends and a cast of zany friends – what more could a story need? Oh, yeah – hot, steamy sex! Well then, you’ll not be disappointed at all with MISSION: POSSESSION!

Redemption has never felt so sweet…

The Past: Dane and Alyssa Foster had a loving marriage, but the requirements of Dane’s consultancy business has forced them into a nomadic lifestyle. Alyssa, desiring with all her heart to start a family and build some semblance of a career as an architect, tires of all the instability and vows to put a stop to the madness by settling in Dallas, Texas. Dane, on the other hand, driven by secret fears of his own, insists on moving to Seattle for his next contract job. But when tempers rise and wills clash, lives get torn asunder.

The Present: Now Dane is gone and entertains plans to move far away, putting thousands of miles between him and Alyssa. But it takes a two-month-long separation for him to realize just what he has lost…and how far he’ll go to get it back.

Alyssa and Dane have been married for six years, but lately she wants more out of their marriage than a career driven husband and a move every year. She wants a family and a forever home. But what does Dane want?

A captivating story about discovering what’s really important to you: whether it’s kids and a minivan or climbing the corporate ladder, and then discovering what you wanted was what you had to begin with. This spicy story is very well written and packs quite a punch in just a few pages, exposing raw emotions and fears. A wonderful happy ever after that will work great for anyone wanting a fulfilling quick read.

I am thrilled to be the reviewer for such a touching and spicy story and can’t wait to see what else Ms Guillaume has out. She just acquired a new fan.

Titus is better than chocolate. Dark, dangerous, impossibly gorgeous and capable of giving Randi an orgasm from clear across the room. His skill with telepathy fills her head with his naughty thoughts. A telekinetic ability to make love with his mind leaves her quivering long before he ever lays a hand on her. But this is the same man who has dragged her into the center of a psychic war and exposed the truth of her birth. With her abilities revealed, Randi's connection to Titus is forged. Can he protect her against their enemies or will their irrepressible attraction bring defeat?

Randi and Titus heat up the pages from the get go! Without a doubt one of the hottest, best short stories I have ever read. Hot, steamy sex, and mystery, what better combination for a brisk page turner that will keep you moving and leave you well satisfied.

A GREAT plot and wonderful characters, with plenty of room to make a sequel (which I would LOVE to read). A truly imaginative story that pushes the barriers of the imagination and opens up the possibilities of the unknown and what ifs. Ms Darlin has crafted a unique story that will bring me back time and time again.

This is a definite keeper for me and a recommended read for you. Now if you will excuse me, I need to go see what else Ms Darlin has published and add them to my collection.

Clair Williams is on her way to a conference when a huge semi rear-ends her, forcing her car into a steep embankment. Help comes—in more ways than one—from the sexy truck driver himself.

Can Billy afford to pleasure a woman he was hired by her ex-boyfriend to follow? The answer is yes, and he's ready to fulfill all her needs.

But when Clair finds out the truth about Billy, will she unload him like damaged goods, or is he the help she's been looking for all her life?

Why won’t a man leave you alone after you have dumped him? That’s Clair’s problem in a nutshell.

Clair Williams is a successful businesswoman who travels from Detroit to Toronto with surprising results. She finally dumped her boyfriend Seth Green and is looking forward to exploring who she is. Clair is afraid of trucks but the story really does not explain why. She is caught in a snowstorm and is afraid of the truck that had been following her very closely. There was a very descriptive accident as the story started that involved Clair. I had several heart stopping moments as I read of what happened. Then a mysterious man appears.

Billy Ray Andrews is more than just a truck driver. With his dark hair and dark eyes, he becomes her savior. I did like some of the lines that Billy used such as liquor thickens the blood and will offer more protection from the cold.

Unfortunately Billy is also a private investigator who is working for Clair’s ex-boyfriend.

Things moved very quickly in the story once they patched each other up from the accident. I found the whole fixing what hurts to be an exciting adult version of playing doctor. Their relationship progresses rapidly but I had a difficult time believing they were a solid couple when Seth kept popping in to cause problems with both Clair and Billy.

Seth is a mama’s boy who can not let anything leave him. He is the one in charge and must be the one to end any relationship he wants out of. Seth had threats against Billy’s family members and continued to bother Clair to resume their relationship. He was very true to the character he played and I wanted to hear more about him.

Clair states “What more was there to life but great sex and good liquor?” How about more details of a blossoming relationship? I did like how the story played out but I wanted more flesh to Billy and Clair and more of their interactions with each other. Seduction on the 401 has a basic story with lots of hot and heavy sex. I found it worth a look at for all the possibilities that are out on the road.

Royce is hesitant and Angela anxious about their meeting.

Each has secrets to protect but want the opportunity to explore the sexual hunger they'd almost ignored. Her family situation had inhibited any real exploration until now.

His new career and her erotic writings using a pseudonym will surprise the other, when they trust each other enough to be honest. Consummating their hit and miss relationship will bring consequences neither imagined in their private and professional lives.

Discovering their personal boundaries can only be liberating on their erotic journey.

What happens when sci-fi erotica writer meets erotica comic book creator? Sparks fly! And if they knew each other before their respective careers? Well, they’ll burn up the sheets and that’s just what Royce and Angela do!

The heroine, Angela, is one of the strongest women I’ve come across. She knows what she wants, is willing to go for it, and smart enough to know when to back away. She doesn’t need the hero or any other man in her life to exist – which is refreshing, although the sparks when Royce re-enters her life show she’s still human. The reader can easily relate to her struggle to love the man who isn’t sure of his own feelings.

I enjoyed the rich descriptions of Angela’s home and property. I felt like I knew the landscape from being there. I struggled with the passion through the story if only because it seemed a bit lopsided, favoring Angela. Then again, I liked seeing Royce’s character grow, change, and accept what he couldn’t understand. The maturity made him very relatable to me.

If you love a good love story, with a few kinky twists, then Her Alpha Male is the novel for you. I give this work 4 ½ cherries!

Running from a disappointing situation in the states, Thisbe Winters, recent concubine of the king of the ice demons, is a woman learning what its like to be young and single again. She's determined to enjoy her new status and start the coming year with a completely clean slate.

As a dancer on the club circuit, her chances of meeting a quality guy are slim to none, that is, until loner vampire Malcolm Frost walks into her life.

Sent in as her bodyguard, Malcolm is told Thisbe is a look don't touch job, a fact he totally disregards after saving the raven-haired beauty from a life-altering situation. She is an indulgence he can ill afford, and a temptation he cannot deny.

Then word comes in of a serious threat to Thisbe from a wolf pack, and Malcolm has to spirit her out of London to his employer's mansion deep within the territory of a master vampire who has a price on his head. Malcolm was never good at playing nice with others of his own kind.

When Thisbe is taken by the vampires, its up to Malcolm to rescue her, set up a truce and take out an entire wolf pack, ensuring the woman that makes his body burn is his for all time.

Take one “pet vampire” and one ice princess; add one fallen angel, several werewolves (one of whom is dead). Mix in a demon and a few more vamps for taste and what do you get? A recipe for a fantastic story that will have you coming back for seconds.

London For The Holidays is the story of Malcolm Frost, a vampire without a master whose boss is an exiled demon. Malcolm is not only a gorgeous vampire but a very unique one. He is able to breathe while he sleeps and stay out in the sunlight with little effects. Needless to say, he is very handy to have working for you. I got the impression that Malcolm was a little wild and did not really take orders from anyone. When his boss, Sean Taylor, told him to babysit Thisbe Winters but not to have any contact with her, Malcolm not only interacted with her but he was intimate with her within minuets of taking the assignment.

Thisbe Winters is really an ice queen. She is a Conglacio concubine and loves the cold and can ice up any time she wants. I had a difficult time at first with liking her character. Thisbe is a very sexual creature and I did not know a lot about her at first except that she was a stripper. As she ran away with Malcolm, I began to see her better and realized she was a very giving person. She not only does whatever she can to make Malcolm happy but also his friend Sam.

There is quite a bit going on with creepy cousins and werewolves stalking our trio. I just wanted Malcolm to be able to be his own vampire and free to do whatever he wanted. A lot of questions are resolved toward the end and there is quite a bit of action that goes on that had me holding my breath.

London For The Holidays was a delicious story for my taste buds. I enjoyed this unique twist to the everyday vampire tale and know I’ll keep my eyes open for more stories involving these fascinating characters.

A lightning bolt, and a bump on the head sends this contemporary woman hurtling into the dark, mysterious world of--her favorite historical romance novel!

Dana is a twenty-first century woman who doesn't think in terms of carriages, chaperons or calling cards until one night during an electrical storm she tumbles into her favorite historical romance novel. When she awakens, she finds a world full of images that are not real, a foreboding old mansion that is filled with magic tricks, and a dark, tortured paper hero who lives alone. Is he real, or is he a ghost?

He comes to her as a spirit, his voice whispering soft, enticing accents in her ear. His presence is a seductive wind—a mist that fondles her. He wants to capture her—have her always to love. But how can he when he is no more than a figment of someone's imagination?

Is there no way out? Will these lovers be imprisoned forever between the pages of this book, or will the closing of the last page rip them apart—forever?

Dana is a career driven woman who loves to read romance novels. Franz is a magician who is overcome with loneliness. When a freak storm thrusts them together sparks fly.

Ms Godwin has written a spine tingling story that gave me goose bumps and made me gasp. Complete with a ghost, a butler who gives vague answers and a sexy mysterious hero, it contains everything a good short story needs to keep a reader interested. Oh, and the love scenes are definitely nothing to laugh about! Smoking hot and steamy with a good dash of tenderness for good measure.

I am thrilled that this story came to me. Ms Godwin has done a wonderful job.
