The perfect gift, one hunk of an ex-lover wrapped in cuffs and a red leather bow set in a snow-filled corner of hell...

But will the gift be accepted in the spirit it was given? Or will the gift tear their love apart?

This title is fifth in the Chance series, preceded by A Snowball's Chance, Second Chance, Another Chance, and Games of Chance.

Josh and Chance have a complicated relationship. They are a demon and a human with the odds stacked against them. When Chance learns that Josh has planned a special anniversary and won’t be able to make it, Chance brings him to his home and gives him a gift. Brandon.

A hot and spicy threesome with three sexy men? What more could you want. Guaranteed to melt your socks off and leave you panting with hard core love scenes and tender emotions, L. Shannon has delivered a wonderful story. This is a story I can see being full length. The characters have so many emotions that I want to know more about the relationships. I don’t feel jipped though because of the short length. Packed to the brim with everything a good short needs, it delivered a powerful punch.

A definite keeper for my library and a sure guarantee that I will be looking for more from L. Shannon in the future. Keep it up, I want more!

Charlie Ascott is a werewolf. He's been cursed with the condition for the last four years, doesn't recall the one who infected him, and has learned to live with it. The only thing he can't quite handle is the lust he feels for a certain she-wolf. He catches her scent every month at full moon, but when it's absent for a few days, he's beside himself. Some day he intends to track her down, but he's not ready for that "wolves mate for life" connection. When he catches a familiar scent in the elevator, he realizes it's her—his she-wolf. Suddenly, he's more ready for a connection than he realized.

Verity Connors is a manager in the company where Charlie works. She has been afraid of intimacy, of friendships, ever since she was bitten. She's a werewolf, and she keeps to herself, focusing on her work to avoid letting instinct run away with her. When she meets Charlie, though, she decides she's been playing solitaire far too long. It's time to take a chance, and Charlie's the one she wants to risk all with. The only way to do that, is to let instinct run its course.

In this short and entertaining story, two people find a connection as they struggle to adjust to and deal with life as werewolves.

Charlie Ascott has been struggling to adjust to life as a werewolf for the last four years. He has no memory of how he was infected and tries to hide his were side. When he catches the scent of a female were at work, he finds an unexpected connection with Verity Connors. Verity also struggles with life as a were as she keeps to herself and tries to maintain her lone wolf status. But when she meets Charlie, she cannot help but wonder if he is the one she has been waiting on.

Charlie and Verity are both interesting characters and I enjoyed their story. Both struggle to adjust to the changes that being turned into a werewolf have caused and worry about the possibility of infecting others. This fear as well as the fear of the unknown has caused Verity to live a lonely existence with work as her main focus until she meets Charlie and things change for the better despite a rocky start. It was interesting to see a relationship develop as they both sought to discover the truth about one another without coming right out and asking.

This was definitely an interesting read and I wish we could have read more as it would have been nice to see what happens next and to learn even more about their past struggles to adjust. But despite this, it was still an entertaining and quick read.

When rumors surface that Alexandre has done away with his wife, he returns to Paris to refute the charges only to find that his faithless wife has been murdered.

Céleste de la Courte is willing to risk her life to help him prove his innocence. Will she be in time to save him from the gallows?

What do you do when the woman you married bears another man’s child? What do you do when the man you love refuses to share his feelings and forces you into marriage?

Want to know more? Then read The Ultimate Betrayal by Heide Katros.

Alexandre La Fontaine decided once his first wife bore another man’s child that he wouldn’t marry again. Celeste de la Courte never believed in love at first sight until she met Alexandre. Smitten and hurt by his abrupt departure after a scintillating dance, she decides to give him a piece of her mind. What happens next? Well, that’s the stuff dreams are made of.

I loved that Celeste never lost her sense of adventure and independence. She knew what she wanted and decided to go get it without remorse. More women should follow her example. I also loved Alexandre. Men never want to admit they have emotions and can have their feelings hurt. He showed that a man can still be sexy when he’s honest about his hopes and dreams. I also liked the trepidation between the main characters. I love the tension and Ms. Katros delivers with this novel.

If you want a historical that’s packed with individuality and heart, then The Ultimate Betrayal is the novel for you. I give this work 4 ½ cherries.

The line between friends and lovers can get a little blurry…especially when you add tequila.

A Chances Are story.

Gabby is serious about her search for Mr. Right, but no one can say she hasn’t had a good time looking. She enjoys her numerous dates and the sex that comes with them. Until she finds herself falling for the one man she vows to never love. Her best friend and roommate, Justin. A player in every sense of the word—and a reminder of her awful past.

One night, with the help of a bottle of tequila, things get a little too hot for comfort. She moves out, intent on removing him from the line of temptation.

Justin has different plans. The tequila did more than just change how he sees his good friend. It made him realize he doesn’t want to be just friends any more. He’s ready for something more intimate, and he’ll do whatever it takes to find out why she’s running. And convince her to stay.

Warning: This book has hot sweet lovin’ between friends who become lovers.

In this quick, but entertaining read, one night changes everything for roommates and friends Justin and Gabby.

After one night of too much tequila things got a little too hot between Justin and Gabby. Now Gabby, determined to find her perfect match, is doing everything possible to avoid Justin. Because despite her attraction to the man, she knows Justin is a player and is not what she is looking for. Justin, however, doesn’t understand Gabby’s behavior and longs to give into the attraction that they feel for one another and make Gabby his forever.

This was a great friends-to-lovers story as two people finally realize that the love they have been looking for just might be closer than they had thought. Gabby has some trust issues when it comes to Justin because she knows him almost too well, having lived with him and met his past girlfriends/lovers. With the help of some interesting secondary characters who help Gabby see the light, she finally realizes the truth about her feelings for Justin. It was interesting to see Justin and Gabby work to repair their friendship and become lovers as they seemed perfect for one another yet still had some issues to deal with. They were great characters and the plot, while using a friends-to-lovers concept that has been done many times, but is still one of my favorite themes, was quite enjoyable to read.

This quick read is one that I would definitely recommend to fans of the friends-to-lovers theme or to anyone looking for a great contemporary read.

Kell is haunted by memories of a place that doesn’t exist. He dreams of a face he’s never seen. He senses that somehow, his life is wrong. Compelled by loneliness and isolation, he walks away from everything in a quest for answers.

Come with Kell as he journeys down a long, snowy highway to a mysterious town called Arcada. Maybe, just maybe, he will find his answers there.

And maybe he will find himself as well.

Kell has never felt like he belongs. He sells his possessions and sets out to find a town he has visited in his memory many times over the years. Without knowing where the little town is, he sets out across the country zig zagging back and forth in search of the town of Normalville. When his car suddenly dies on the outskirts of his beloved town, he sits in the car and watches the snow fall through the windshield. But when a stranger arrives and offers him a ride, little does he know he will be getting the ride of his life!

A story told in first person can be hard to nail, however I think Ms. McBride has done a wonderful job. The amazing description of the scenery and characters gives life and depth to a story that is full of imagination. A nicely woven tale about a Changeling discovering himself. Shedding the shell his true form is in, he discovers his true form for the first time and is amazed by what he discovers. The love scene could have been hotter but I found myself more interested in the characters than the sex.

I wonder if Ms McBride has contemplated turning this into a full length? I for one would love to read it if she ever decides to. Keep it up my dear, your imagination is a fountain I would love to swim in many more times.

On the harsh and brutal planet of AEssyria, women are expected to be quiet, obedient and demur, but poor Gypsy Theron is none of these things.

To the great chagrin of her parents, Gypsy Theron is a hellion, and growing up the daughter of a famous AEssyrian General hasn’t helped matters. Now, at nineteen, it’s time for her to choose her own career and she’s chosen to be a warrior. Unfortunately, for her, that’s an impossible dream for a woman of AEssyria .

Colonel Caraculla is a Razorback AEssyrian and the general’s right hand man. He served under Gavin for a very long time and the two are as close as brothers. But Gypsy is about to storm into his life and steal his heart away. His love for her will not only strain his friendship with Gavin, it will cost him everything.

She dreams of being a warrior. Her father strictly forbids it. What’s a girl to do? Choose her own path and take whatever comes her way – good or bad.

Interested? Read Maiden’s Curse and get the rest of the story.

Ms. Marquis and Ms. Bayer write a compelling new twist on the Sci-Fi/Fantasy novel with Maiden’s Curse. Many novelists focus on the damsel in distress. The heroine, Gypsy, is the very opposite and refreshing at that. I enjoyed her headstrong approach to life and her father. Who hasn’t sparred with a parent over a career, or even a life choice? I loved her resiliency as well. Even when things looked bleak, she never gave up. Every woman needs to take heed of her journey. Women all over should read this book for that reason – there’s nothing to hold you back other than your own fear.

Although I didn’t feel there was a clear cut hero, I liked Caraculla as the hero. He never let his fear cloud his judgment. He always held her best interests in the front of his mind, even when it wasn’t wise.

If you want a fantasy novel for the new century, then grab a copy of Maiden’s Curse and let the story take you away and inspire you. I give this novel 4 ½ cherries.

Her destiny rests in their hands…

True Destiny, Book 1

Kiran Tate and Logan Saeter have been on the run from Oliver Grimm for so long they’ve forgotten what it’s like to be free. Ending Grimm’s power games won’t be easy, but this time they have an ace in the hole. PI Jordan Grey, Guardian Investigation’s resident hot shot—and Grimm’s step-granddaughter.

Jordan Grey has her doubts when Logan and Kir show up in her office with a tall tale of how her step-grandfather has framed them for murder. And to top it all off, they’re claiming that they’re really the ancient Norse gods Loki and Baldur, and that Grimm is Odin!

When the two lovers see the sexy detective for the first time, stopping Grimm suddenly takes a back seat to seducing her into their arms. But Grimm never rests, and when his anger spills over onto Jordan, it sets them all on a collision course with a destiny that will rock their world…

Warning: This book contains explicit sex, graphic language, some violence, and hot male/male/female action. In fact, it could be considered a religious experience.

In this highly entertaining story, the author provides us with both unique characters and a fascinating plot based on Norse mythology.

Logan Saeter and Kiran Tate, on the run from Oliver Grimm, decide to hire PI Jordan Grey to help them prove that they are the Norse gods Loki and Baldur and that Oliver is actually Odin, an evil god who has framed the pair and is determined to destroy them. The problem is that Jordan is Grimm’s step-granddaughter and she is reluctant to believe the pair’s highly unlikely tale of being gods…until they prove it to her. Jordan agrees to help Logan and Kir, but by doing so puts herself in danger as Grimm is not one to mess with and is determined to get rid of Logan and Kir along with anyone that stands in his way. As the threesome spends more time together and work to figure out a way to prove Logan and Kir’s innocence, they quickly discover a love and bond that they never expected.

With this fascinating and unique story, the author has provided us with quite a wonderful bunch of characters, both main and secondary, that really enhanced the story and added to my enjoyment. I was especially taken with the main threesome of the story, Kir, Logan, and Jordan. Having been faithful lovers for so long, Kir and Logan are both shocked and surprised by the attraction and love they feel for Jordan upon meeting and getting to know her. They are quite a fascinating pair with their various godly abilities, such as controlling the weather and instant healing, and I found myself liking them both a great deal. I enjoyed each new revelation about the men and what they were capable of doing.

I felt that Jordan was a perfect match for them with her quick wit and great personality. The three were great together and I really enjoyed their interactions and found myself smiling on more than one occasion at their banter. She fit in so well with them it was as if they had known her for years rather than days. I really enjoyed their camaraderie and easy relationship as well as the passion that simmers between them all. The love scenes are quite touching and erotic as they get to know each other intimately.

In addition to the main characters, there is quite a fascinating cast of supporting characters including the antagonist Grimm as well as other Norse gods and Jordan’s family members who we meet as the story progresses. Each character has an important role in the story and I enjoyed meeting and getting to know each of them and look forward to seeing more of them in future books.

As for the plot, I felt it was quite unique and unlike anything I had read previously. You don’t see too many romances involving the Norse gods (or at least I haven’t). I couldn’t wait to see how things would unfold as Logan, Kir, and Jordan took on Grimm and I was quite surprised by the outcome. The plot seemed to flow effortlessly and the pacing of the story was great. I became lost in the story and read it in one sitting and couldn’t believe it when I reached the end.

I can hardly wait to read the next book so I can see what happens with all of the characters in the story. I applaud Ms. Bell for a job well-done as this unique and fascinating book is definitely a keeper for me. In fact, I already want to re-read it!

Physical interaction with an alien wasn’t on Alinta’s scientific experiment list of things-to-do-while visiting the planet known as RND82, but one look at Sam Grayson in a pair of silk thermals is all it takes to reprioritize her time out of the space lab.

Alinta is thrilled with being able to go exploring on the planet known as RND82. When she is cleared to have an authorized encounter with an alien life form. She had never studied the aliens that called the planet home and found the experience thrilling. She makes contact expecting to learn, but who will be teaching whom? Sam Grayson needed a little time away from the hustle and bustle of city life and the law firm where he worked.

I was thrilled with the imaginative story. I found the alien encounter to be a refreshingly new spin on what we typically view as “alien”. When you couple the imagination with the steamy love scene that is assured to melt the polar ice caps, you end up with a titillating story that is guaranteed to put a smile on your face and leave you wanting more!

A good Sci-fi erotic that takes a new twist and explores the possibilities of “what if?” No doubt if B.J. can keep the imagination rolling and continue to deliver new stories like this one, we are sure to see the name B.J. McCall all over the place before long. Thank you for blessing us with the chance to visit your world. Keep them coming.

Zoe Bennett is an inexperienced werewolf in the grip of her mating cycle. With no pack and no mate, Zoe must brave the supernatural crowds of Last Call, the bar where your drink order tells everyone what you need.

Kamikaze: Werewolf in heat, looking for a temporary mate.

The chase is on, and security specialist Connor O’Malley intends to win, if only because the sweet young woman at the bar looks unprepared for what the night might bring, in and out of the bedroom. Little does he know that, when he catches her, he may not be satisfied being just a temporary mate.

This quick and passion-filled read has a female werewolf in heat finding more than she was expecting at the Last Call.

At the Last Call, a bar where your drink order tells everyone what your sexual need is, werewolf Zoe Bennett orders a Kamikaze signaling that she’s a werewolf in heat looking for a temporary mate. Connor O’Malley, at the Last Call doing some business, is drawn to Zoe and is determined to help the desperate werewolf with her needs. Things heat up quickly for the pair as they give into the passion that their inner wolves crave, but neither is quite sure one night will be enough.

This was a hot and passionate story of two strangers giving into the lust and cravings that come with being a werewolf in heat, but in doing so they also discover they have quite a bit in common. Zoe and Connor are perfect for one another and it was as if their meeting was fated to happen. I really enjoyed the passion between the pair and am still fanning myself.

My only complaint is that the story was a bit too short and I would have loved to know what happens next. Other than that, this is one hot and quick read with characters and sex scenes that I really enjoyed.

One beautiful Englishwoman in peril, a volatile political atmosphere, and the oh-so-wicked aristocrat who offers to save her at all costs...

Lara Moore is neck deep in trouble. So deep she can fairly feel the noose tighten around her throat, but rescue in the form of one infamously charming nobleman is far from appealing. For one thing, he wants compensation in the form of sexual submission. Second, he is far too clever to fool. The devilishly handsome Comte Roussel isn't interested in being the one who pays, unless he collects back full measure.

Anton Garcin is privileged, wealthy, powerful, and thwarted at every turn in his pursuit of the beauteous Lady Edgerton. When he finally has her cornered, he isn't above using coercion to ensure seduction, but the results are not exactly as he expects. His government thinks the lady is dangerous. He discovers it is all too true...

This title was previously published.

Whether or not she’s a spy isn’t up for debate. Whether she’s infatuated with the Comte might be in question. Whether she’ll agree to become the Comte’s mistress, well, that’s guaranteed.

Want to know more? Read Incomparable and find out!

Lara Moore is one countess the French people want to know about and not because of her personal liaisons. They want to know if she’s a spy against Bonaparte. Anton Garcin couldn’t care less. He simply wants the cool and beautiful countess as his mistress. When Jacques Lacroux threatens her life, Anton makes the ultimate sacrifice: he offers Lara his protection.

I liked this novella because unlike many historicals, this one not only held my attention, but made me feel a part of the story. The scenes were rich with descriptions and lush with details. Although Anton came across as a rogue, he thought with his heart – which increased his sexiness. I also liked that Lara was independent yet yielded to Anton. She never lost her independent streak, which I found refreshing.

If you want a sweeping historical, lush with sex and handsome characters, then Incomparable is the novella for you. I give this work 4 ½ cherries.

Jessie and Dean have been dating for three years and still manage to surprise each other. Dean is adventurous and playful and Jessie never knows what he might do next for fun. Jessie is more conservative, but loves Dean's attitude about life and is willing to play along with a little encouragement. When they visit a park on a mountain top to see the breath-taking view, they discover far more intimate views than they bargained for.

Jessie and Dean love the outdoors. The clean mountain air, the breathtaking views and the time together. On one sure trip into the wilderness, Dean pushes the envelope and the lovers partake in a little “frisky” business in the woods. The thrill of being caught fooling around in public in the daylight makes the action all the hotter for them both.

Very nicely written. Jammed with emotion and a loving relationship. Steamy sex just adds to the pleasure of this read. Reading an erotic story that already has a monogamous couple is a breath of fresh air. Usually in erotic romance I see sex first, and then the development of the relationship. This was a very nice change of pace to see a couple already in a serious relationship still getting spicy and naughty. Their loving was very vivid and thorough. A good read that will make you smile.

A simple job. That’s what they had told her it would be. Once on the train however Becca learns that nothing is simple, especially where the heart is involved.

Becca is a spy who has been trained to use everything in her power to complete a mission. But when the mission goes wrong and she finds herself marked for termination, she finds herself in the company of a sexy stranger who knows nothing of who she is. Hot love and lots of close calls make for an entertaining ride.

All-in-all I liked this story, but would have enjoyed it more had it been longer. When I got to the end I was left hanging a bit and wanting more. While I noted a few editing issues, they paled in comparison to the hot sex and heart-stopping action! Still, this story begged for more pages. I completely believe this author had enough plot to go another 150 pages, and if she had, I think it would have been a real page turner that would keep you flipping pages and biting your nails in anticipation of what might happen next. If it seemed the characters fell in love a little too quickly, I also realize that this was a short story and there is only so much you can put in so few pages. Still though, this story was a satisfying read.

Carey Thornton is tired of couples. All his friends have someone special and he feels like the odd man out. Painfully single, Carey cruises the nightclubs and gay party scene, flirting with any hot guy who looks his way, but he always seems to be the one to go home alone.

It’s comic convention weekend at the Omni Hotel where Carey works, and somehow he got roped into working the registration desk in the dealer room. While checking in the vendors before the crowds arrive, he meets the sexy Pat Dix, setting up the booth for Kryptonite Comics.

Horribly shy, Patrick has never dreamt an outgoing, fun-loving guy like Carey would ever find him attractive. He’s surprised when Carey asks him to hang out after the convention hall closes, and he surprises himself by saying “yes.” A late night in the hotel pool with Carey’s rowdy friends might just be what Patrick needs to break him out of his shell. But it isn’t until the friends leave them alone that Patrick gets “Carey’d away.”

In Carey’d Away two men share an unexpected night to remember following, of all things, a comic book convention.

Having seen his friends find love, Carey Thornton longs for a relationship of his own, yet he can’t seem to find Mr. Right. The last place he ever expected to find someone was at the comic convention at the hotel where he works, yet when he lays eyes on Pat Dix, he cannot deny his attraction. Both Carey and Pat would rather be anywhere other than the convention, but things seem to take a turn for the better when they meet one another. Carey soon finds himself inviting Pat to a get-together with his friends at the pool following the convention. Shy Pat surprisingly agrees and the two find themselves sharing a passionate night that just might lead to something more.

I absolutely adored the two men in this story and found their budding relationship quite, for lack of a better word, sweet. It’s adorable how they sort of crush on each other when they first meet and I enjoyed the flirtation that goes on as they tried to catch glimpses of and encounter one another throughout the day. They both have very different personalities and approaches, yet they somehow seem to fit together. Pat is very shy and self-conscious and is reluctant to believe that the seemingly confident Carey could ever be attracted to him, yet Pat is just what Carey needs. But Carey has doubts of his own and fears scaring Pat off with his forwardness. I enjoyed watching them overcome their doubts and give into the lust and chemistry that exists between them.

In addition to Pat and Carey, there are also some interesting secondary characters that really enhance the story. Carey’s coworkers and friends are great and I enjoyed their interactions with the two men as it added some more humor and lightheartedness to the story.

This was a wonderful story that I was sad to see end, as I really liked Pat and Carey. I was definitely “Carey’d Away” by the story (pardon the pun).

What Legends Are Made Of is a collection of short stories that range within the genres of romance, horror, and fantasy. Each story takes the reader into a realistic world where unbelievable events occur. Have you ever experienced a story filled with so much suspense, terror, and romance that you couldn’t get it out of your mind? Be prepared to feel all of these emotions because author Heather Beck is about to take you on a journey that you won’t soon forget.

You’re personally invited to tour the halls of Sir Tristan’s Estate, a place where ghosts roam freely and fill your dreams at night. Following your stay at the estate, you’ll cruise on the Blue Oceana, a perfect ship for sightseeing. With patience and a careful eye you might see the merman that lives in the crystal clear ocean. If you enjoyed watching the odd ocean creature while aboard the ship, you’ll love Frank Stanford’s Freak Show. There you’ll see a unicorn with wings and a talking tree. However, it’s the freak show’s horrifying main attraction that shocks everyone who sees it. If you can stop shaking after your encounter with freaky Frank, continue on to Karyn and Max Shield’s Costume and Magic Shop; just be careful of what you purchase there since the merchandise at the Shield’s shop is perhaps too realistic. Some stories make your heart soar, while others make you scream aloud; these stories will make you do both. They’ll leave you spellbound and yearning for more. Ready to find out what real legends are made of? Turn the page…

Sometimes romance needs a little shock value. In this collection of stories, entitled What Legends Are Made Of, Heather Beck delivers.

Ms. Beck writes stories filled with a ragged edge that grips the reader from page one to the very end. Her characters are realistic and relatable for the reader. The scenes are richly detailed and captivating.

In Sir Tristan’s Estate, Skye wants to learn the truths of the estate. Can she handle the truth? I liked that this story kept the reader on his or her toes. I couldn't put it down. I liked the variances in the sweet romance and the scary tendencies.

In Blue Water, mermen are real. Mandy wants Ed and Ed wants Mandy. It takes a shark attack and a chance meeting with a merman to bring their emotions to light. I liked that the attack was so realistic. You felt like you were the one in the attack as well. I liked the morals of the story as well. Mandy and Ed were from different worlds, but that didn't matter when it came to the heart.

In Freaky Frank, Brittany meets the man who melts her heart in an instant, yet she hardly knows him. When he saves her from an overzealous coworker, she must decide if her heart’s right or if she should follow her head. I liked her temerity. She went after what she wanted on her own terms without shrinking into the background because she didn’t get her way. We could all take a page from her boldness. I liked that Frank had her back. Very sexy.

In the final story, One Stop Horror Shop, Max and Karyn get the shock of their lives when they find the magic shop they opened holds secrets – deadly secrets. I liked that there wasn’t a clear antagonist in this one. Each character had his or her bad side. Crafty. I liked that there was no real right thing to do as well. This story made the reader think.

If you want a collection of stories guaranteed to send a shiver up your spine, then this collection, What Legends Are Made Of is the collection for you. I give this novel 4 ½ cherries.

When her therapist suggests keeping a dream diary, she finds that writing in the diary seems to trigger the dreams and now she is obsessed with the need to sleep to enjoy more of her lover’s favors.

Let me start this review by saying that I LOVED the story line! Very imaginative and colorful. Filled with great scenes and smoking love. The only issue I had with the story was the fact that there appeared to be very little editing done and contained a fair share of typo’s and missing words which account for the lower rating. That being said I still want to stress that I enjoyed the story and the characters very much.

Having said my piece, I still will be searching out more of this author's work in the future as I am confident that I will not be disappointed with her skill in story telling. Thank you for sharing this tale with the rest of us.

She’ll make him finish what he started—if they live through the night.

Framed and on the run, FBI agent Joe “Hawk” Hawkins has only one chance to clear his name: hit the road for Eagle, Alaska. Things can’t get much worse, until a woman from his past steps into his path. Sophie’s a brilliant statistician, pissed off about their disastrous one-night stand—and offering him a deal.

This is Sophie’s first field assignment, and the fact that it involves Hawk doesn’t make it any easier. She’s never forgotten or forgiven the night Hawk found his way to her bed and left her wanting more. Now she’s on a double mission to make Hawk finish what he started, and get them both to Eagle alive.

The long Alaska Highway stretches before them, and long nights of sexual fireworks that rival the Northern Lights. Caution turns to trust, and then to a love neither of them bargained for.

With two rogue agents in hot pursuit, though, the end of the road may be closer than they think…

Warning: This title contains sex hot enough to boil ice—and make you wish the Alaskan winter lasted even longer.

FBI agent, Sophie Branson is hunting fellow agent Joe Hawkins. And if this was just another assignment, she wouldn’t have a problem. However, Sophie and Joe have a past history and he might just be innocent. When she tracks him down, she’s not sure if she can trust him. Is he telling the truth? Has he been set up, framed for something he didn’t do? Besides being physically attracted to Joe, Sophie believes his story and knows she has to help him clear his name. Even if that means her life could be in danger and her career on the line. And let’s not forget she might be falling for this rugged hero.

Sophie and Joe are well crafted characters and the dialogue is very natural sounding with some great banter between the hero and heroine. The author uses the Alaskan setting perfectly and weaves both Sophie and Joe’s backgrounds nicely throughout this book.

At just 142 pages, this is one to add to your quick read list. If you like sexy romantic suspense stories, you’ll enjoy Alaskan Heat.

Brodie Duncan expected to be taking a week-long Alaskan cruise with his girlfriend. But when she ended their relationship just moments before boarding, he ended up on the ship alone. Determined to make the best of a bad situation, Brodie considers a no-strings-attached fling. What he didn’t bargain for was a man as appealing as Julian Richards.

Trapped in his own bad relationship with a selfish woman he was starting to resent, the charismatic Julian is shocked by his reaction to tall, dark, and handsome Brodie. Instantly attracted to each other, the men create enough heat on their trip to the Inside Passage to melt the Glaciers in the bay.

In the end, on a vacation full of surprises, Julian and Brodie discover that not only do they have strong feelings for one another, by Cruising they just might have found their soul mates.

A lot of crazy things have been known to happen on vacation… but to meet the man of your dreams when you weren’t even looking? That takes talent.

Minutes before their cruise for Alaska leaves port, Melanie leaves Brodie standing on the deck without so much of a hint at good-bye. Not one to let a bad thing get the better of him, Brodie sets out in search of some fun and a one-time fling. Little did he expect the flames to fly with another man.

Julian becomes the target of Brodie’s reluctant affections. Once meeting Brodie, Julian begins to doubt his own relationship with his girlfriend, Amelia, a self-centered, spoiled woman. The moment they decide to give in to their desires, the sparks fly.

Despite their rough start and many misunderstandings, Brodie and Julian come together with a force more powerful than nature – lust bordering on true love. Each character has his own flaws and prejudices, which only make the fireworks more spectacular.

Despite our age of supposed sexual freedom and ‘to each his own’, a stern stigmata still hangs over anyone not falling within the ‘societal norm’. So, to read an inspiring story of two men bound and determined to do what feels good – and right – and not worry about what the rest of the world might possibly think was very refreshing. They found support in the oddest of places and true and honest love in the end. Laced with sweet and tender meetings and steaming hot sex, Cruising is a great story that brings a bit of everything to the table. A fun, humorous and sexy novel to be sure!
