Kaylee has no idea that she's a prairie dog shifter, or that the reason for all the male attention she's been attracting is her first heat cycle. When her boss fires her in a jealous fit of rage, she decides to go find some action at the local biker bar.

When the cute little dawg waltzes onto his turf, Logan isn't about to let any of his buddies get their paws on her. A game of pool turns into a sexy seduction as Logan introduces her to loving, Prairie Dawg style.

After the day she has had, Kaylee is positive that all man have gone insane. She is actually terminated from her job because the men around her can’t seem to control themselves. Yet, Kaylee refuses to let her bad day get her down. All she needs to do is off some steam then she can start over. Her destination ends up being the Prairie Dawg Saloon in Dawg Town. When she arrives, the male attention is just as intense but there is only one man’s interest she welcomes.

Logan can’t help but to stand at attention the instant he becomes aware of Kaylee’s presence after she enters the bar. How could he not? She is in heat. Any man in the bar would love to mate with her but he claims her as his own.

With a few twists that I didn’t see coming, Hustle is a wicked story that kept my interest as startling secrets are revealed--secrets that give Kaylee more insight into her own past than she ever thought she would obtain when she walked into Prairie Dawg Saloon. Ms. Kane provides us with a pool table scene so naughty and steamy that you will want to go back and read it again. I know I did.

If you are looking for a humorous, yet sexy and seductive quick read, then I’d recommend this one. Ms. Kane won’t leave you disappointed.

Thomas Crawford is Lonely River's beta, and it's high time he settled down. He's had his eye on Charlotte Daniel, the owner of the Full Moon Saloon -- and independent cuss of a woman -- for months, but she either hasn't noticed his gentle courting... or she's ignoring him. But when some local wolves lodge a complaint about her questionable business practices it's Thomas's job to investigate, even if it means the woman he wants will hate him forever.

Lottie has noticed Thomas's courting, all right, but it's a little too polite for her tastes. She wants a man with fire and sensuality, not daisies and poetry. Then he kisses her. Once she gets a glimpse of the passion burning in him, Lottie decides a slow, careful seduction isn't a bad idea at all. But she'll do it her way.

You have to ante up if you want to play this game, and once pack beta Thomas Crawford and saloon owner Charlotte Daniel decide to play, they play for the highest stakes of all … love.

Down & Dirty 3: Ante Up is a deliciously down and dirty quick read. While third in a series, it is not necessary to have read the first two books to enjoy this book, though enough characters from the earlier stories make an appearance that it makes it more fun to know the back-story. In truth, though, the back-story is shadowy – we learn early on of a conflict between weres and humans and a war that makes everyone skeptical of technology – so much so that this futuristic story seems like it is set on the Old West. But while the world here is but sketched out, it provides a richly woven backdrop to Thomas and Lottie’s story, which rightly gets center stage.

Thomas has passion, strength and magic to spare, but he keeps it in check. To fulfill his role as the pack beta, Thomas must maintain a calm, civilized façade, both as the were liaison to the humans and to provide a measured contrast to the pack alpha, Jack, who rules with an iron hand. Lottie is a strong, independent woman who doesn’t want to settle for companionship or even just respectful courting. She wants heat, desire and passion and she’s not sure quiet, restrained Thomas can provide it. Watching these two grown-ups explore love and sizzling hot passion was delightful. And it was a hoot watching a feisty independent woman and an overprotective alpha man try to find balance in and out of the bedroom.

In the end, Down & Dirty 3: Ante Up is like a guilty pleasure without the guilt. The characters are richly, if broadly, drawn, and there is a conflict with a dastardly villain that moves the plot along. There is lots of hot lovin’, but the bedroom (and office, and kitchen and, well, you get the idea) scenes are completely integral to the story. While I’d love to know more about the war, and the role of technology in the war, and who Hazel’s parents are, and a lot of other things, snot knowing in no way detracted from the story. Because I am curious, I would read the next Down & Dirty installment in a heartbeat. But then I would do that anyway just because these are enjoyable and sexy books.

Moira Rogers never disappoints! If you like Westerns, weres, or lusty love scenes, Down & Dirty 3: Ante Up is a delicious and sure bet.

On a perilous quest for power, Kaydana must beware of both enemy and ally.

In the third installment of Kaydana’s saga, the freelance sorceress joins an expedition to find the fabulous Crown of the Worlds, a mysterious artifact rumored to give its wearer power over all worlds.

Her companions are mysteries themselves, their motives uncertain. The quest is plagued with a lethal creature with too much knowledge of her sexual desires, and Kaydanna’s own frustrations distract her. Will she be able to protect her companions from danger--and one another--to the explosive conclusion?

Warning: this title contains the following: explicit sex (all combinations), graphic language, violence, BDSM

Will Kaydana be able to save her companions and herself from an unknown foe?

This installment of the Kaydana series follows along with the rest as erotic sword and sorcery. Like the others, this book could be read as a stand alone, with no problem understanding it but I wouldn't suggest it as your starting point.

Ms. Blatchley brings to life imaginative and varied characters. While the plot moves along at a good pace and keeps you interested, it seems more dependent than usual on the sex to move it along than action which, depending on your point of view, could add or detract from your overall enjoyment of the story. If you've read the other books in this series then give this one a shot but, as I said earlier, I wouldn't suggest this be your first choice with this series.

Even so, this is still a good story with a fast-paced plot and interesting characters which is something I've come to expect from Nyki Blatchley.

Dominic Wells wouldn't hesitate to do anything to keep his wife happy. Anything at all . . . .

When one member of their marital triad dies, Dominic Wells figures he’s all set to have his happily ever after with his beautiful wife, Tabbitha. However, now that he finally has her all to himself, he realizes he can never be enough for her. No one man could. So, they set out on a quest to find a new husband to complete their loving marriage.

Double Jeopardy is twenty-four pages of twists, turns, and ménage. And I can honestly say that in all my time reading erotica, I’ve never come across another story like it.

The story is told in the first person narrative in Dominic’s point-of-view. He’s the second husband in a polyandry relationship and has gotten used to a life of taking what he’s given. You feel incredibly sorry for him, especially when you see him getting the short end of the stick (quite literally) during sex with his partners. He’s the whipping boy, used as little more than a toy in the sack and in the relationship.

Then the unexpected happens. The first husband, Ian, commits suicide. The wife, Tabitha, isn’t a vanilla lover and within months they are looking for a new partner to fill the void. Again, you feel just awful for Dominic. He’s a conflicted man who loves his wife, and wants to see her happy, but wants her to himself as well.

To say more would be to spoil it all, but I will say this. As I read this story, I didn’t enjoy it much, even though the sex was hot. I didn’t like how poorly Dominic was treated and detested Tabitha for allowing him to be a whipping boy. BUT...then I got to the last two pages and boy-oh-boy, what a shocker!! Do yourself a favor and keep reading this story – that’s all I have to say. The ending alone makes this deliciously naughty tale worth reading!

Definitely check out Double Jeopardy.

After six months with his lover, Cody yearns for monogamy. The threesomes he and Dante engage in are fun, but he needs more from the man he loves. Although Cody longs to tell Dante how he feels, he fears love and fidelity are two words missing from his older lover’s vocabulary.

The discovery of a naked man in Dante’s apartment confirms Cody’s worst fears. The cliché Dante uses as an excuse for his betrayal further clouds the issue at hand. Cody doesn’t know whether to trust the word of a man notorious for screwing around, or believe the worst and walk away from love he wants more than anything.

Publisher's Note: This book contains explicit sexual content, graphic language, and situations that some readers may find objectionable: Anal play/intercourse, male/male sexual practices, ménage (m/m/m).

If you like sexy May/December relationships with sizzling and steamy sex scenes that will have you squirming, then think about picking up Reckless Behavior. This is a sequel and six months have passed in which Cody and Dante are enjoying a swinging lifestyle filled with hot sex, hot men and titillating threesomes. Unfortunately both men are starting to tire of sharing the one they love with so many random partners, but now each must confess their feelings if their relationship has a chance to progress. Two stubborn men trying to communicate could be a recipe for disaster for their relationship.

The majority of the story is comprised of sex scenes – which are certainly hot and ranging from double penetration to threesomes and even morning sex. Unfortunately these sex scenes make up well over half the book, leaving the actual characters with little definition, almost no progression, and the overall story an excuse to have some really hot sex between two gorgeous gay guys. Part of the problem with this is the inherent issues with a sequel when the plot is rather thin. Here the actual tension and plot stems from both Cody and Dante wanting monogamy but prefer to believe the other man could never want the same thing. This refusal to actually talk is an annoying device, although likely realistic given the numerous communication problems between couples.

Unfortunately the insistence on using this theme of misunderstanding, miscommunication, lack of actual conversation, and outright lying leads the characters to be rather empty and their relationship to fall flat. Why Cody and Dante are in love is a mystery because their six month relationship seems to be heavily based on sex -- with each other and other men -- and very little actual connection. Several times the lack of knowledge about basic facts of each man, such as family, shows not only how little they know about each other, but that they never think to ask. Furthermore, both express a great deal of enjoyment within the threesomes that contradicts their internal musings that they are tiring of the sexual antics. Neither Cody nor Dante actually seem to want to stop the threesomes, more so they want emotional reassurance that their feelings are returned.

The writing wasn’t bad even with the few editing errors as Young can definitely write a scorching hot sex scene in explicit detail while keeping each one different and with a purpose for the book. From showing their glee in the sexual antics to their desire for each other and thankfully a focus on safe sex, none of the scenes are rote. Perhaps the characters are given more depth and definition in the initial book; if so, perhaps a return reader would appreciate this story more.

Still, if you’re looking for a simple book without a lot of depth in the characters or plot but one with super hot and very well-written sex scenes – this may be it for you.

Tired of unappreciative losers who leave her behind, Quinn Gallagher decides it’s time for a whole new Quinn. Someone who is bold and brave and sexy.

So…what happens when one woman tries to reinvent herself to try and find love? With the help of a seventy-something former burlesque dancer; a crash course in fishnets, walking, and wooing; and a very sexy leading man; it can be good, it can be bad, but it is definitely hot and hilarious.

There is the sweetest delight in finding a first person narrative that makes you laugh until you cry, and that’s exactly what The Mighty Quinn will do. Sommer Marsden has created a heroine so loveable and relatable you’ll cheer for her even when she does things that make you close your eyes and shake your head. This isn’t a story, it’s sharing of events from start to finish, and the indelible Quinn is your guide. I was hooked by the end of the prologue. Quinn’s voice is that of every scorned and heartbroken woman the world over. Let’s face it. Who hasn’t turned to Ben and Jerry’s, cigarettes, and alcohol after being dumped?

There is so much to say about the story, all of which is good. It’s perfectly written, well plotted, and extraordinarily funny. Quinn grows with every page, becoming a confident woman that is unafraid and unashamed, and it’s a thing of beauty. She unravels like a shiny Christmas present, and as she does, so will you. Think Cinderella, but with a burlesque fairy godmother, four inch pumps instead of slippers, and pint sized ankle biter instead of mice. Oh, and that hunky Prince charming isn’t too bad either!

Take the journey, enjoy the voice of Quinn, and fall in love with her just as I did. A keeper for sure, I adored The Mighty Quinn!

Jedadiah Blackheart has had one thing on his mind since the company Christmas party and that's getting his assistant, Cheri Dodson, armpit deep in a vat of chocolate so he can lick it all off. When his company lands the Choco Chocolate campaign, Jedadiah finds a way to live out his ultimate fantasy.

Cheri knows Jedadiah is up to something when she sees his inner sanctum turned into a chocolate lover's paradise. And she's sure whatever it is, it's certainly no good for her.

Or is it?

Sex and chocolate is always a good thing.

Do you like chocolate? Do you like sex? How about both at the same time? In this story, Jedadiah Blackheart has his mind set on laying claim to his assistant, Cheri Dodson. Cheri finds Jedadiah and his ego infuriating and makes it her personal mission to keep him in line—even if he is her boss. What happens when two power players end up in a vat of chocolate? Well let’s just say it is so hot that even if you don’t wear glasses they will fog up.

This book is exceptional! It is a quick read at 50 pages so if you need a little steamy late night read this is it! I found myself unable to put it down—even to go to sleep. Then I wanted to go back to the beginning and start over again. Ms. Karland captivated my interest from beginning to end. The love scenes were so steamy I found myself gasping for breath on occasion.

Cheri and Jedadiah are a couple to envy. Jedadiah is the type of man every woman lusts after and Cheri is the woman every one wants to be when such a gorgeous specimen of a man is head-over-heels for her. I love the story because Cheri is a full-figured woman who doesn’t let her body image issues get in the way, even if they are in the back of her mind.

This is the first book of Ms. Karland's that I have read but it won’t be my last. I love Ms. Karland’s writing style. If you aren’t already familiar with her work, I highly recommend this as a introduction. You won’t be disappointed!

Jesse Englund works eighteen hour days for the love of his life - his corporation. It's what he lives and breathes to the exclusion of everything else.

When hired consultant Eden Simmons claims she's stolen millions from him, she offers him a deal to get the money back. A deal which involves several hours of orgasmic pleasure.

For Jesse, it's been a long time since another person has managed to set his priorities straight and make him think about something other than work. The only problem is that Eden hides an agenda which threatens to take his company down.

In the midst of a whirlwind romance they both discover that everything that happens between them comes with a price.

Lust. Lies. Deceit. Honor. Loyalty. What do you get when you add all of these elements together? The Price of Pleasure by Ms. Carney. She gives us Eden Simmons, a woman who is torn between lust, honesty and loyalty. Not to mention Jesse Englund who is so hot and so alpha male he burns up the pages.

Eden is a successful woman who has had to compromise herself one too many times to prove her worth. Jesse is the man she steals money from to make a point. However, the proposition she comes up with for him to get it back is strictly personal.

Boy does Jessie deliver! So does Ms. Carney. She gives us a scintillating tale of two characters who can’t keep their hands off of each other. Jessie brings out a side of Eden she never knew existed. Yet, she can’t let go because she is hiding a secret so horrible, to reveal it could threaten the happiness she has found.

I have to admit this story has twists and turns I didn’t expect because of the book blurb but it is well worth reading. Jesse and Eden are two characters you won’t forget anytime soon.

The Price of Pleasure is an attention-grabbing story that you can’t put down until it’s over. Jesse and Eden burn up the sheets in and out of bed. I loved Jesse’s understanding nature and Eden’s boldness. The Price of Pleasure is a wonderful book. I look forward to reading more of Ms. Carney’s work.

Seraphina—"Sera"—Jones won the vacation of a lifetime: an all-expenses-paid trip to the Pleasure Planet, a place where her every desire will be fulfilled. No one will give a damn about her curves, her mocha skin, or her crazy sexual fantasies. Sera and her sister are all set to enjoy her good luck until a pair of pirate hotties that look at her like she’s their own personal fantasy hijacks their ship.

Ace and Ryas are space pirates out to do a quick jack and run. Simple. Get in, ransom the cargo, and get out before getting caught. One look at Sera and they know they'll be taking on more booty than they planned. Hers. But now Ace and Ryas will have to prove if they are strong enough to keep the treasure they’ve found.

Publisher's Note: This book contains explicit sexual content, graphic language, and situations that some readers may find objectionable: Anal play/intercourse, ménage (m/f/m).

Plus sized Seraphina "Sera" Jones can’t believe her good luck. She’s won an all-expenses paid trip for two to the Pleasure Planet: a place where her abundant curves and mocha skin tone will be accepted. She invites her sister Sophie to go along, because they are alone except for each other. During the flight, space pirates -- two of the hottest guys Sera has ever seen -- hijack the ship.

When Ace and Ryas see Sera, they each want her for their own, and take Sera and Sophie on board their ship to save them. Seems the Pleasure Planet is not what it seems, and Sera and Sophie are lucky to survive. Can Ryas and Ace find a way to make Sera theirs permanently, or will the tricks they employ backfire and drive her away from their more that willing arms? Can Sera accept a life of Pleasuring a Pirate (or in this case two)?

Pleasuring a Pirate is a hilarious outer space sex romp. Leila Brown writes such marvelous characters, and Sera is no exception. I always root for the unconventional heroine, and especially the BBW ones like Sera and Sophie. They are both strong, sensual women who think for themselves, and take no nonsense from the men. Sera may be scared, but she puts up a good front, and comes out on the right side.

I loved that all the plotting and planning by Ace and Ryas comes back to bite them in their butts, and I really enjoyed the spirit Sera showed throughout this story. I read this on the way to work on the bus, and got some very funny looks as I sat there giggling at Sera’s antics.

If you are looking for something hot and different, pick up Pleasuring a Pirate, grab a pitcher of cold drinks, and enjoy.

While unpacking antiques belonging to Arias del Rio, a little known explorer, museum curator Malika Carter Young is stunned to discover a Spanish vampire in a sarcophagus. He's arrogant, gorgeous, and his fangs are an exact fit to the birthmarks on her breast.

Shamed by the greed and violence of his mortal life, Arias del Rio has spent his centuries as a vampire atoning for his sins. After years of loneliness, he has finally found his destined mate, but an enemy from his past has returned and intends to destroy everything Arias loves, beginning with Malika.

This is an interesting vampiric read.

I enjoyed Malika's spunk and her love of her work made her a believable character. While Arias seemed a little to good to be true and had a brooding quality at times. He seemed a bit like your stereotypical vampire. I found myself actually drawn to his companion Diego wondering what his story was.

I did find this book rather intriguing due to one of the vampires being Spanish and his arch rival in the book is Aztec. I personally haven't seen a book with characters like this and it brought a fresh spin to the story. With that said, I also felt the addition of the rival was unnecessary. This could've been a wonderful little love story without the added fighting. Although the rival doesn't detract and does move the plot forward, it seemed unneeded as the book was moving fine without it.

This is a hot, yet sweet, story of finding true love though the ages.

An enlightened woman of her times, Camille Rocheford stirs up controversy with a novel published under her true name rather than a male pseudonym. Yet despite her modern views, Camille is at odds with the carefree morals of her more open peers. Lured into summering at the home of an undisclosed host, she is shocked to meet the infamous Stefan Eldritch, the greatest scandal being her instant attraction to him.

Stefan Eldritch is known for his provocative verse, more so for his wild soirees. Born into wealth, the poet enjoys a life of excess even as he holds the aristocracy in contempt. But one luxury eludes him -- the woman who can match him in both wits and in bed. Until he meets Camille.

An unlikely pair, Stefan and Camille fall into creative collaboration -- and unbridled romance. When the lovers stumble upon the lost path of the Magi, the power they unleash plunges them deeper into a world of reckless abandon. Yet sinister forces lurk in wait, putting the power of the pen and a pledge of love to the ultimate test.

Publisher's Note: This book contains explicit sexual content, graphic language, and situations that some readers may find objectionable: Anal play/intercourse, BDSM theme and content, ménage and moresome (m/f/m, m/f/f/m, partner swapping), same-sex interaction (f/f), voyeurism.

If you’re in the mood for a complex erotica that has as much suspense and intrigue as it does sensuality, Eldritch Legacy 2: Lessons Learned is just the ticket. This delightful book offers it all with a complex plot, steamy sex, and an unexpected bit of magic. It’s historical with a paranormal slant, and is a brilliantly plotted story. I can say with all honesty that it doesn’t get much better than this.

The hero and heroine, Camille and Stefan, are as complex as they are endearing. The moment they meet, the pages sizzle. The chemistry is palpable, and it’s impossible not to be captivated by their mutual desires and flourishing trust. If that isn’t enough, the sub-plot with their best friends Nicolette and Klauss is also wonderfully portrayed, and comes into play when a bottle of absinthe rips away any remaining inhibitions and the four come together. But the true brilliance of Lessons Learned is the story itself, making it so much more than your average erotica. You will care for these characters; it’s impossible not to.

I’ve admittedly not read the first story in the series, but after finishing this one, I fully intend to do so. Katrina Strauss is an exceptional story teller that snags you from the start and doesn’t let loose, even after you’ve finished that last crucial page.

A must read for sure, I loved Eldritch Legacy 2: Lessons Learned.

Forever becomes a lot more complicated when you’re immortal...

Immortal Series, Book 4

Eight years ago, science and reason ruled Gideon Bennett’s life. Until the death of an Immortal triggered a physical transformation, forcing him out of the laboratory and into a world of violence for which he was ill prepared. Now a seasoned warrior, he is still haunted by his one massive failure—and the face of the woman he couldn’t save.

Lyssa James wasn’t looking for trouble when she set out to enjoy a night on the town away from her dead-end job and obnoxious ex-boyfriend. Instead she got a first-class ticket to a demon hell dimension where she was trapped for eight long years.

Now she’s finally escaped...only to run into the man who failed her. Neither of them are the same people they were eight years ago, but getting reacquainted is the least of their worries.

One of the nastiest demons from the Abyss is on the loose, and it threatens not only their lives…but the future of humanity.

Warning: This title contains edge-of-your seat action, steamy sex, extreme emotional roller coasters, hot immortal warriors fighting to save humanity, and a woman who walks a thin line between good and evil.

When Alyssa James was left waiting at the club for her date, she got more that she bargained for. Gideon Bennett was in the club looking for a lead on a demon who had been killing women all over town. That’s his job-he is an Immortal, and he protects the world from demon invasions. But Lyssa draws him like no woman ever has, and although he is supposed to find the demon, he gets a bit sidetracked. When Lyssa is grabbed by the demon outside the club, and is pulled through a demon portal Gideon mourns the loss of the woman who intrigued him.

Eight years later, to the day, something draws him to the very spot where Lyssa “died” and Gideon is stunned to see a portal open in the same spot. A dirty, wild demon/human half-breed comes through, followed by a severely injured demon. The half- breed is Lyssa, now calling herself Nyx, and the dying demon has helped her stay alive for eight years. The attraction that Gideon felt eight years before flares back to life, but can he afford to trust this new half demon version of the woman he met eight years before? Can she learn to be human again, or has she got too much demon in her? Will Nyx and Gideon be able to defeat Damien when he comes looking for her again, or will the world be destroyed by his vengeance?

Forever Immortal is book four of J. K. Coi’s Immortal series. I love the world she has created, with strong virile heroes and strong women to love them.

Gideon and his twin sister share a close link, even though she has found her mate in Rhys, another Immortal. The tension that is created when Gideon can’t seem to get on with his life after his failure to save Lyssa affects everyone, not just Gideon.

I liked the way that this author didn’t just put the two back at square one, with instant attraction back. The way she allows the sexual tension to build as Gideon slowly convinces Nyx/Lyssa to open up and relax her guard is fantastic. When they finally share their passion, it is fireworks and volcanoes and maximum hot. I heartily recommend this for those who like their heroes hot, their sex steamy, and surprises abounding.

There’s a fine line between mysticism and madness…one they must cross to win.

Forbidden, Book 1

London psychiatrist Wesley Atherton is a man of science. He doesn’t believe in love at first sight…until he finds himself inexplicably drawn to a green-eyed American beauty he bumps into on the Tube. Just his luck, Katherine, a fashion design intern, has an engagement ring on her finger.

Wes knows a thing or two about people, though. Instinct tells him there’s something more than irresistible temptation behind their attraction. She doesn’t love her fiancé, he’s sure of it—now if only he can convince her they’re meant to be together.

Surviving a deadly train wreck is the first sign his intuition is spot on. The second—a psychic who warns them the Reaper doesn’t like to be cheated out of its quarry. The situation defies all logic, but a string of strange and lethal events convinces Wes that he and Katherine are living on borrowed time. Pitted in a battle against death itself, Wes will do anything, make any sacrifice, to protect the woman he loves.

This book has been substantially revised and expanded from its original published version.

Warning: This book contains one bad-ass demon, spectacular shagging, a feisty American heroine, and one very hot, very British, knife-wielding shrink.

When Death has been denied, can those involved ever be free, or will there have to be a sacrifice made to settle the score? London psychiatrist Wes Atherton doesn’t believe in love at first sight, until he sees Katherine Lawson one day on the tube. When Katherine and Wes survive a derailment that should have killed them can they beat Death, or will they survive once the Reaper seeks his due?

Forbidden: The Sacrifice is a fantastic book. I was drawn into it quickly, and it held my attention throughout. I love stories that engage my imagination and make me want to continue without stopping. Samantha Sommersby has created deeply sympathetic characters who are, at first, simply a couple learning about each other. But as they are drawn into the surreal world, where Death can take revenge for being thwarted, Wes and Katherine go from confused, to disbelieving and finally they are determined that their love will beat the odds. When you add in the cheating boyfriend who gets violent because he gets possessed, things get really exciting.

The side trips down memory lane for the characters give insight into what has gone before; little peeks of Wes wooing Katherine, and Katherine slowly realizing she cares for him too. The supporting cast is also wonderful, and I hope we see more of them in the future-Will and Jennifer, the psychic brother-sister team that works so hard to help. There are several places where Ms. Sommersby brought me to tears, but she was always there to bring a smile or chuckle too. Do Wes and Katherine get their happy ever after, and what price do they ultimately pay for it? Read Forbidden: The Sacrifice for those answers.

Craven and his friend Anthony discover they're in over their heads the night they're caught spying on Beresford Hall. But when Craven meets the dark, mysterious Dominic Beresford, he wonders if fate really does step in and take you by surprise when you least expect.

This bright jewel of a short story demonstrates in dramatic terms what happens when you believe you should not have something: you think about it all the time. Taking place during the most sexually repressive era in America, when young men and women were only supposed to think about sex in the context of marriage and then only in terms of procreation, not pleasure, the tale revolves around some of the inevitable ‘underground’ activities inevitable during such repression.

Craven, both desperately ashamed of and driven by his desires, is a thoroughly engaging character, poignant and sympathetic, while Dominic is absolutely delicious as the decadent, powerful lord of the manor. Their meeting and subsequent budding relationship proceeds in a smoothly written, flowing style, intense and heated on both sides.

My only issue with this work is that it is the beginning of what should be a longer work marketed as a short story. There will, no doubt, be more (and there should be) but this piece ends just as the romance begins to get underway. Too many questions remain unresolved and the reader is cut off before we see how their relationship will actually work in practice. A short story should be self-contained and resolve whatever central conflict has been presented.

Otherwise, though, Craven’s story is beautifully written and well-crafted. His whirlwind journey from anxious peeping tom to willing sub is well worth the read and I will be looking for more from Ms. Diablo in the future (especially if Craven and Dominic are involved.)

Determined to take charge of her life, Candy abandons her inhibitions and heads West. Adam and Bryan, co-owners of a remote Montana cattle ranch, are eager for luscious female heat after three cold months in the saddle. Candy's first step toward freedom is one glorious night of wild sex. The men prove what four hands, two mouths and hard driving muscles can do in a few determined hours.

But meeting her deep, dark fantasies requires more time. They invite her back to the Double R, promising games of Virgin and Pirates, Harem Girl and Sheiks. With hard working days and deliciously wicked nights, the last few weeks of the winter pass quickly.

Ranch life, and her men, are everything Candy wants. But she can't live a fantasy forever, hoping they'll ask her to stay. Unless they return her love, she must claim her independence and escape before her heart breaks.

"I love to indulge in forbidden fantasies, writing about hot, sexy, powerful men who can still laugh in bed. Dominant Alphas who know what they want and how to make a feisty woman eager to provide it. Of course, they drive their women crazy with fingers, tongues, lips and more. And then there's role play and sharing…." ~ Reece ~

Candy's looking for a hot sex filled one night stand, but she never expects to be in the middle of a Cowboy Sandwich.

After a bad marriage and a lifetime of not being good enough Candy decides to throw caution to the wind. In doing so she ends up in the arms and bed of two hot hunky cowboys. Ms Butler writes a hot yet romantic tale of three people falling in love. With arousing sex scenes that left me looking for ice water. Although the role playing had me giggling out loud at it's over the top antics. Not to mention thinking about two rugged cowboys dressed like something out of the Arabian Nights. It still brings a smile to my lips.

Yet it also added to Adam and Bryan, making them more believable. As did Adam and Candy's back stories. Offering us a glimpse of why they acted the way they did.

I do wish Ms Butler had shown us more though. For example it seems to be a granted that Candy tells them about her ex, yet it doesn't show how the men react to this knowledge. Adam never explains to Candy why he tries to keep his distance. At least not so we the reader can see it.

But even with these small things that left me wondering this was still a fun and naughty read. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys cowboy antics. In the future I will definitely be looking for more works by Ms Butler.

Loose cannons make life interesting—until they blow up in your face.

Action! Book 4

For once, things are going well for Mark Antonius Richfield. His career is fulfilling. The love of his life, Steve Miller, and best friends Jack and Adam round out his personal life to the fullest. What could possibly go wrong?

Enter eighteen-year-old Alexander Lehman. A member of “Generation seX”—with a voracious appetite for older men.

At first Mark doesn’t notice anything unusual, but Steve sees instantly that the young man could be Mark’s clone. The reason? Mark has an illegitimate son, as sensual, gorgeous, and mischievous as himself. With the same penchant for causing trouble.

As Mark takes a crash course in parenthood, the newcomer’s roving eye lands on Steve, who finds himself lusting after a younger version of the hot hunk he fell in love with.

All Mark can see in this complicated, age-before-beauty contest, he’s the one in danger of coming out the loser…

Warning: This book contains an eighteen-year-old’s lust for older men, hot bouts of naughty sex between gorgeous adult men, and unbridled gay group sex sure to shock you or drive you wild.

This novel is chock full of hot, sexy men, ex-LAPD cops, gorgeous runway models and wayward, horny sons. It's a walking wet dream. There were plenty of men to keep track of: Steve, the ex-cop, Mark, the gorgeous and very rich model, Jack and Adam, two old college friends.

Their lives get complicated very fast when eighteen-year-old Alex shows up at Mark's doorstep in Bel Aire, claiming to be Mark's son from a one-night stand nineteen years ago. Since Alex is a dead ringer for hot supermodel Mark, no one questions his claim and soon Alex is living with his father, his father's lover Steve and coming on to every man in sight. Then he gets some serious hots for Steve and the sexual tension on the page mounts. His father and Steve know of his desires, but tell him to behave. So where is this going to go? What kinds of problems is Alex's desire going to cause? It doesn't help any that Steve is almost as attracted to Alex. This can only lead to trouble. And Jack, who was desperately in love with Mark in college, is dangerously attracted to this boy who looks identical to his long lost love.

I had a few minor quibbles with the easy way Alex was taken in to the family. I'm not sure if some eighteen-year-old showed up on my doorstep and called me Dad that I'd fall all over myself paying for an expensive university, promising to buy him expensive clothes and cars and spoiling him rotten...all without blinking an eye. But it was cute listening to their banter, and their attempts to rein in Alex's over-the-top sexuality. The humorous banter throughout the book, the occasional serious aside with homophobic relatives and, in some cases, the too easy conversion to acceptance by those same relatives puts this book firmly in the realm of a nice fantasy. The writing is fairly simple, the language plain and not overly imaginative. I really felt this story was just a basic, solid entertaining erotic story without a lot of depth or subtlety.

Steve, the ex-LAPD cop, is probably the least realistic of the four men. His gushing and declarations of undying love were a bit much at times, especially given that he was supposed to be super butch.

For some reason Mark, who seems to be an all-American boy, uses a lot of British slang–-bloody, blimey, etc. Apparently he has a British grandmother. I still found it jarring at times. I also didn't care for the way the author kept characterizing the two gay couple as male/female, as though if one of them was going to be the 'man' the other one apparently earns the label of 'wife'. I found this in bad taste. The assumption that there must be a man and woman in a gay relationship is a hetero idea and did not suit the tone of the rest of the book.

So while this isn't a deep book, if you're looking for a hot, simple romp with several hot men and some tasty ménage scenes, then this might be the book for you.
