Sneaking into a masquerade party provides Stephani with the perfect cover as the sultry siren Cinnamon. Will her secrets remain hidden once Chad, her willing playmate for the evening suspects her to be a woman he loved but lost? Can he unmask Cinnamon to again love the real woman underneath?

She wants to be with the only man to ever make her scream. He wants to rekindle a love with the woman who holds his heart. Then he meets Cinnamon. Is she his first love? Or a new love who’s a flash from the past? Read Unmasking Cinnamon to find out the rest of the story.

Ms. Knight writes an interesting story of a love gone wrong and then redeemed. I liked the sumptuous atmosphere of the party and how quickly Chad and Cinnamon (aka Stephani) found each other. You felt like you were one of the revelers.

As the heroine, I initially felt Stephani came across as a bit of a snob and a social climber. Yes, she wanted to be loved, but she made it seem like money made her tick more than the man she loved. But, I liked how she grew as a person through the story. I respected her decision to keep up her guard until the last moment. The reader could identify with her strength.

As the hero, I thought Chad could’ve been a bit stronger. He made no qualms with the indiscriminant sex, but as with Stephani, he redeemed himself and made me really like him as the hero. He poured his heart out for the woman of his dreams and showed he wasn’t the superficial jerk she thought he was. This story showed people could change if they truly wanted to.

The love scenes in this novella scorched the pages. Although the first few times seemed like a pent up release, once the lovers realized the identities, the passion flowed and made the story powerful.

If you want a story that will keep you engrossed from page one, then you need to read Unmasking Cinnamon. I give this novella 4 cherries.

Tia Jenning is successful African-American woman with no time for love. So she hatches a plan to find a man for sex then dump him.

Scott Jackson, a Caucasian aircraft mechanic who isn’t rich but lives comfortably. Tia comes from a world of money he may never experience first hand. Nonetheless, he is in love with Tia. Then he discovers the plan Tia has come up with and tosses her aside in the same manner she had planned to do to him once she was through.

It doesn’t take Tia long to figure out that she has made a huge mistake. But maybe she can win him back with the help of a little red dress.

This was an attention-grabbing story from the start. I enjoyed this story all the way through. I thought I knew what was going to happen when Tia’s friend convinced her to go to Scott’s apartment but boy was I wrong. The last thing I can consider this story after reading it is predictable. However, it is very hot. When Tia arrives at Scott’s place, she is definitely in store for an erotic encounter so spicy, so scorching hot I thought I would burn my eyes reading it.

Tia’s Red Dress is a must read! It is short fast paced book for readers who want a nice slice of entertainment provided by Ms. Cross. This is my first read by this author and it won’t be my last. Tia’s Red Dress is a book that will forever be on the bookshelf to be reread.

Overall, it’s a wonderful story of romance and lust. The book is highly entertaining and a very spicy read. I look forward to discovering more of Ms. Cross work. If you are looking for quick hot read that will leave you satisfied and with a smile on your face pick up a copy of Tia’s Red Dress. You won’t be disappointed!

Bryce's bad day in Barkus, Kansas, starts when he dodges a prairie dog and lays down his most prized possession: Midnight. Can his day get any worse? Mad Dawg's about to find out.

Dolly Madison's car breaks down a mile outside of town. She walks into the closest building where opportunity knocks on the wooden bar.

What secrets does Barkus, Kansas, hold when the cute and cuddly are among the residents?

He’s trashed his best friend. She’s got a broken head gasket. How do they end up in the same bar? Well, you need to read Dawg Town: Mad Dawg to learn more.

This is a short story, so I expected things to happen fast. Although the story starts at a leisurely pace, the action picks up immediately. I liked the tension in the story. You weren’t sure who Mad Dawg would end up with and you weren’t sure if Dolly found him attractive right away. The scene in the Navigator with BD was a fun little treat.

Things do happen fast in real life and in fiction and this story doesn’t disappoint. The sex scenes sizzle, but I didn’t feel the passion right away. It came out as more raw animal attraction, but it kept the reader’s attention. The passion as well as the relationship develops as they characters spend more time together, but readers can identify with the overwhelming desire to be there.

Although I felt the action happened almost too fast to keep straight, I liked the cut and dried fashion of the story.

If you want a short, but sassy story with quite a few twists and turns, then you need to read Dawg Town: Mad Dawg. I give this short 4 cherries.

En route to a sexy Halloween soiree, Cal and Sue Briscoe are involved in a car accident and die...or do they?

Stranded between layers of the veil, they cling to each other with the hope that whatever happens, they will stay together. As the Grim Reaper - a handsome fellow introducing himself as Gil - tries to discern their fate, the Briscoes take advantage of the moment out of time to celebrate what could be their last chance for love...or the beginning of a new life.

Part of Leigh's award-winning Dareville series!

Cal and Sue are stuck in limbo after a horrible car accident. While waiting for the powers that be to decide what will happen to them, they decide to use the time to their advantage. Little do they know the Grim Reaper has a kinky side.

This is a sweet short. I loved how close Cal and Sue are, yet how open a relationship they have. These things helped make them realistic and believable. Ms Ellwood keeps you wondering which way will they go. She does a great job propelling the plot along with hints from the sexy, grim reaper, Gil. Tack on a great happy ending and you've got a lovey afternoon read.

Maura has a way of ignoring the open doors in her life, like the door to the spirit world in her guest room and the opportunity to be with Jared. But he plans to change all that. As a mystic, he recognizes what is in her house and is determined to take care of it, with hopes of winning her heart in the process.

But the person who opened the portal has other plans.

Ever wondered what was behind door number three? Ever wondered what would happen if you went through the portal you assumed was a high risk? Ever thought about going through the open door before you? Then you need to read Open Doors.

Ms. Gray writes an interesting novella. Her characters are rich with empathy and caring. You want to see them get together and find their hearts’ content. I liked how the story entwined each character and made the reader think. I liked the ‘what would you do’ aspects of the story.

I liked that the characters had to work together even when they felt the issue was singular. As the hero, I enjoyed Jared. He worked well with his hands and he was easy on the eyes. He didn’t back down under pressure and when he set his sights on Maura, he never relented. I liked Maura. I almost felt she was a bit wishy-washy, but when the magic was factored in, things made sense. The secondary character of Adam added to the story with an extra twist of humanity.

I would’ve liked to have gotten a bit more action when Jared went against the devil, but this is a short story, so it didn’t deter the story too much. I did feel the love scenes were very passionate. I liked seeing the lust blossom into love as the novella unfurled.

If you want a sensual read with a magical twist, then you want to read Open Doors. I give this novella 4 cherries.

One OTR trucker. One leather-clad biker. One very special town...

Finding himself stranded in the middle of Nowhere, Kansas, Loren comes face to face with his favorite fantasy. Hard to say which turns him on more, the '69 Shovelhead, or Bad Dawg -- the bronze god of a biker in the seat.

But can there be any future for men whose livelihoods pull them in opposite directions? And what's with all the Prairie Dawgs all over the place?

Sometimes the truth isn’t what you want to believe, but it’s what’s in your heart. What happens when you realize that truth with the one person you never thought existed? You just might lose your heart.

Intrigued? Then you need to read Dawg Town: Bad Dawg.

This is a unique series of stories. Ms. Austin’s Dawg Town, even in the short stories, feels like a real place. You see different stories by different characters, but it’s all a family. In this edition, we get the story of Bad Dawg aka BD, the leader of the Prairie Dog Biker Gang. He’s shown up in other stories, but here he gets his say.

I like this story because even though it moves fast, you can feel a building passion between BD and Loren. And though Loren comes across as a bit weak at first, you can’t help but want to see him find BD and make the relationship work. I liked the unconventionality of the relationship, both had their own lives leading in opposite directions, but the love blossoming between them seemed to be enough.

When they made love, you felt the passion and the desire as if you were a part of the coupling. Even when they weren’t making love, the repartee was still charged with strong feelings.

If you want to read a fun short story about renegade Prairie Dog shifters, then you need to read Dawg Town: Bad Dawg. I give this short story 4 cherries.

Faye Burke, recently widowed, retreated to the coast of Maine to grieve and reassess her future. Her favorite part of the day is watching the sun rise out of the Atlantic Ocean. It's also when the man she considers her guilty pleasure runs along the beach.

Gil Farrelly, a successful painter, is trying to get his career back on track after the studio fire that destroyed everything. He starts his creative juices flowing every day by running on the beach. The lovely woman who watches him also gets his juices flowing, and he's determined to reinvent his career by painting her. Faye's combination of maturity and sensual vulnerability intrigue Gil, and he wants to immortalize her on his canvas.

She's flattered, aroused, and ultimately frightened of the emotions he incites. He claims not to care he's younger by twelve years, but she believes sooner or later he'll come to his senses and seek out women his own age. Can Faye conquer her fears? Can Gil prove to her it's not age separating them but her fear?

Life seems like it ends when someone you love dies. Does it? Not necessarily. Sometimes life begins just when you think its hit the skids. Don’t believe me? Then read A Promise at Dawn. You’ll change your mind.

Ms. Quinn writes a sweeping short story that reels you in from page one with characters you won’t forget. I liked that these characters weren’t perfect and they weren’t young. Now I’m not saying they were old or past it, but it’s sweet to have a story come along about characters that are in the prime of their lives. Life doesn’t end at thirty.

Gil lost everything in a fire and has to start over. Faye lost her husband due to health issues and she, too, must start again. I liked how the stories were separate but similar. The idea of the painting bringing them together was very powerful and full of passion. Without actually touching her, though a lot of touching ended up taking place – and it was hot – he managed to get past her defenses. Her sincerity melted his, bringing them to a closeness few understand.

Although I would’ve liked to have seen her be a bit stronger in the clutch, I liked her vulnerability. I liked his straightforwardness. The scene where he touches her with the paintbrushes... whew! You could feel the passion and the love building between them, despite the fact that they refused to believe that they were falling for each other.

If you want a sexy novella that will stay with you long after the last page, then you need to read A Promise at Dawn. You won’t regret it. I give this story 4 cherries.

It’s love at first sight for Jackson “Jack” Masters when he lays eyes on the curvaceous new tenant in his building, and decides she will be his. What surprises him is his best friend Lane Dundas also has his sights set on the voluptuous dark-skinned woman with eyes of gold.

Jack is willing to lay everything on the line to win Zarah’s affections, even when that means sharing her with Lane. Yet every step of the way he is met with resistance. No matter what he says or does, her past prevents her from believing the sincerity of his attraction.

Zarah Elliott is plump, uncomfortable in her own skin, and a realist who has come to grips with living out the rest of her days alone and celibate. Until she comes face-to-face with the man of her dreams -- make that men of her dreams. Is it wrong for a woman to take pleasure in mind blowing sex in the arms of a handsome stranger or two, without allowing emotions to get in the way? Zarah doesn’t think so. Men have been engaging in casual, no-strings sex to sate their physical needs since the dawn of time. Why can’t she?

Publisher’s Note: This book contains explicit sexual content, graphic language, and situations some readers may find objectionable: Anal play/intercourse, ménage (m/f/m).

Zarah has been criticized about her size all of her life. She is well aware of the fact that she is overweight. Still she thinks that things are going well but she has a boyfriend who cares about her. One she plans to seduce as soon as she arrives home. Unfortunately it all goes out the window when she walks into the house and sees the man she has been living with being sexually serviced by a petite blonde. Feeling as thought it isn’t in the cards for her to be happy or have a good man, she decides to focus on herself for a change. Men will no longer be a part of her life.

Or so she thinks.

Jackson is tired of living the single life. But he wants more than a one-night stand, no matter if his friends tease him about it. He wants a good woman that he can love completely, unconditionally. The instant he spots Zarah, he is sure she is the one he has been looking for, but the pain reflected in her eyes tells him it won’t be easy to convince her of the same.

It gets even more complicated when Lane, Jackson’s friend and neighbor, sees Zarah and is attracted to her as well. Can Lane and Jackson work through the dilemma of wanting the same woman, or is their relationship with each other and Zarah doomed?

Now,I have to say I have read some books featuring a full-figured woman, and enjoyed the majority of them. But this story I enjoyed immensely! Jennifer Cole’s character, Zarah, is truly a woman I could relate to even if I didn’t have her exact insecurities. There were times when I felt bad for her because it just seemed like her awful luck never ended. Then there were scenes where I wanted to shake Zarah and tell her to get it together.

What I liked about this story is the fact the main characters, Zarah and Jackson, are “real” people. They both have a lot of baggage to deal with. It was refreshing to read about everyday characters that most if not all readers can relate to on some level. I also like how the story was broken down. The book was well paced and the plot well developed. Even the secondary characters in the story have you rooting for them.

Pursing Zarah is highly engaging and enjoyable. Do yourself a favor and pick up this character-driven romance. I bet you fall in love with the story, too!

She’s a best-selling erotic romance writer. Her fans adore her. She’s making excellent money. All by writing about a man she dreamed up many years ago. Her hero is handsome, virile, sexy, strong, sensitive and a complete gentleman.

He’s a hot-headed, sex-on-the-hoof pro wrestler. He has a reputation for being the hottest, nastiest man on the mats. The fact that his face and body are plastered all over a bunch of mushy romance novels written by a woman with a death wish doesn’t sit well on those massive shoulders. His agent’s demanding monetary retribution from the woman who’s dared to use his image on her covers but he has another form of retribution in mind…and it has nothing to do with money.

She was his the moment he touched her. He came out of her dreams to claim her, and she wants every hot, throbbing inch of that delicious man.

He wants her, naked, at his mercy. One hot, orgasmic night wasn’t nearly enough. She ran…but he’ll find her.

I must confess that I was tickled silly to be able to review Out of Her Dreams. It’s been on my TBR list for far too long, and the opportunity to read this little gem was too good to pass up! A romance author writing about a man from her dreams that actually exists…can you imagine? So many ways to go with this one, and I’m delighted to say, it was one fantastic journey.

Out of her Dreams hits the ground running, in a crowded bookstore with our heroine; the notoriously popular novelist Samantha Hastings. The scene is set, the characters are in place, and just like a ready-made box of delicious Betty Crocker brownies, just add water. Or in this case our hero, David Chance, AKA the notorious bad boy wrestler, Chance Braza. Saying the sparks fly is putting it mildly. When Sam and David get a taste of one another, the temperature goes nuclear. You’ll pant and writhe and groan right along with them, and when it’s all said and done, you’ll dust yourself off and ask for some more.

But great sex aside, the true beauty contained within is the story. Sam and David are incredibly different, but oddly enough, it is their fear of expressing their feelings that keep them apart. This is one of those tales where you’ll want to slap the protagonists upside the head–something David would totally do to an opponent, by the way–smack them around a little, and yell, say I love you already! But it’s not done in such a way that it’s annoying or melodramatic. Instead, it’s a slow progression, watching as they lose themselves in one another. It will warm at your heart at times, and break it at others. There is nothing so great as a book that keeps you teetering on that precarious emotional teeter-totter, but rewards you so wonderfully for the effort in the end.

Of course, no story would be complete without comic relief, and I got that in spades when Sam attends her first wrestling event. You’ll laugh so hard you’ll cry, and just when you think it’s over, you’ll get more of the same and cackle like a hyena. Truly one of the greatest scenes you’ll read, because as it’s happening, you can literally picture the chaos. Excellent stuff, I tell you.

Be sure to put Out of Her Dreams on your TBR pile. You’ll get witty characters, a wonderful story, sizzling sex, and that little tugging courtesy of the heartstrings. I cannot wait to read more from Fran Lee.

The ghosts of the past will shape your future. Unless you fight them.

Cambridge, 1907

After settling in their new home, Cambridge dons Orlando Coppersmith and Jonty Stewart are looking forward to nothing more exciting than teaching their students and playing rugby. Their plans change when a friend asks their help to clear an old flame who stands accused of murder.

Doing the right thing means Jonty and Orlando must leave the sheltering walls of St. Bride’s to enter a labyrinth of suspects and suspicions, lies and anguish.

Their investigation raises ghosts from Jonty’s past when the murder victim turns out to be one of the men who sexually abused him at school. The trauma forces Jonty to withdraw behind a wall of painful memories. And Orlando fears he may forever lose the intimacy of his best friend and lover.

When another one of Jonty’s abusers is found dead, police suspicion falls on the Cambridge fellows themselves. Finding this murderer becomes a race to solve the crime…before it destroys Jonty’s fragile state of mind.

Warning: Contains sensual m/m lovemaking and hot men playing rugby.

Jonty and Orlando face new obstacles to their relationship when Jonty’s past threatens their newfound happiness. The amateur sleuths of The Cambridge Fellows series are back in perhaps their best adventure to date. Jonty and Orlando have only just moved into their new home when a friend asks for their help in yet another murder mystery. Unfortunately this time, the man dead is from Jonty’s painful past. Jonty and Orlando must follow the twists and turns of the complex mystery while facing a history of sexual abuse Jonty has never been able to let go. However, he must if he wants a future with Orlando.

This fourth book in the series can be read as a stand alone but makes more sense when read in order from the first book. The depth and progression of the characters and their relationship together has more meaning then and makes for a much better story. Here Jonty and Orlando have their roles reversed as the usual confident, carefree Jonty is plunged into a sea of insecurity and pain when he is forced to confront the abusers of his past. Orlando must become a strong, caring support – amid his fussy nature – to help Jonty over this latest hurdle. The relationship develops and grows with delight and sensitivity. The wit, humor, and fun loving nature of the two never gets lost in the somewhat dark overtones of the story.

The mystery this time is a who-dun-it intricately combined with the relationship between the two fellows. The masterful handling of the two combine into a seamless and entertaining story that helps lighten the mood with Jonty and Orlando’s good natured kidding while showing their love in the quiet, intense moments. The ever adoring cast of secondary characters colors the book with their wonderful antics from Jonty’s fabulous mother to a new side couple that make an appearance. There is enough murder, romance, and atmosphere to please even the most hard core fan while staying as close to historically accurate as possible.

The crisp writing and great prose move the story along quickly and effortlessly. The humor and dry wit laden in past stories really hits its stride in this latest offering and will keep readers delighted with Jonty and Orlando. The only mishap are the editing errors that sometimes jar the reading experience, but the strength of the story should help overcome this problem. Fans of the series will want to read this latest as soon as possible while those new to the series should start at the beginning and savor each wonderful story. Here’s to hoping the next is soon in coming!

A love so sweet you’ll cry. Two men who come together after loss to find in each other new life as the author shows that love isn’t just about sex, especially between two people of the same gender. This heartrending yet uplifting tale is told with beautiful imagery and sensual delight.

Never able to provide the unconditional love he always wanted and needed, Rafe struggles with his guilt after leaving Charlie a month before his death. Their last moment together ends in tragedy, leaving Rafe to pull the pieces of his shattered heart together, little knowing that Charlie has sent his own guardian angel to take care of him.

Knowing he was going to die, he pushed Rafe out of his life so he would go on. When Rafe and Stewart fall in love, life begins again and your heart sings for them.

These loving men will pull your heart strings and fill you with joy as life is renewed. One can only give this story 5 Cherries for being so sweet. The author’s writing is descriptive and bold, yet holds such tenderness that the fruit must be reaped quickly.

A long time from now, in a galaxy just a bit farther away than you think, a beautiful, shape-shifting thief has just broken into the crystalline castle that is the seat of the galactic Empire and stolen their most prized possession, a legendary gem with mystical properties. Now all Cillian has to do is find the infamous Gastardian Bandit and convince him to aid in his escape. But first he'll have to deal with a sexy garbage man with a secret; the garbage man's diminuitive cat-man sidekick; cross-dressing, laser rifles and a daring chase through the wastes on the outskirts of the city. Sounds easy, right?

He was the Gastardian Bandit until he went into retirement. But how do you give up a big payday when you could also be looking down the barrel of the best relationship of your life? Then you’d better read Heart of Truth to find out more.

Eon de Beaumont writes an intriguing tale of lies, deception, and lust. You can’t help but find yourself lost in the pages of the novella. The characters keep your attention and draw you into the story. You want to see how they resolve the problems and how they manage to fall for each other.

I liked the theme of hero worship translating into lust and love. Readers can relate to Cillian’s adulation of Thaniel. You look up to those who do great things, even if the things aren’t so great. I liked how the adulation turned into genuine affection.

Thaniel made a great hero because as much as he was attracted to Cillian, he knows there is a job to do and a reputation to restore.

Although I felt the love scenes lacked passion early on, as the story progressed, I could feel the love grow between Cillian and Thaniel. I loved the resolution and how it was rather unexpected. What a great way to end the story and keep the reader on his or her toes.

If you want a short read that’s packed with action and building passion, then you need to read Heart of Truth. I give this novella 4 cherries.

When Jayde returns to Hickory Falls to settle her grandmother’s estate she finds a mystery and a destiny she's not sure she wants. It starts with an antique puzzle box with a necklace and a note that only says Beware of the Obsession. It also includes a bakery everyone is anxious to see reopened despite her inability to cook, and a pair of hunky, too-good-to-be-true tenants living in the same building.

Marc and Anthony are lovers waiting on their third to complete them, the Guardian they have sworn to protect. When Jayde finally arrives they are anxious to get her into their bed…until they see the necklace around her neck. It serves a powerful warning to them -- and to her if she knows what it means. Now they have to take things slow, seducing her before they reveal the duty she has been called for.

When the Guardian denies her calling, the protectors will do anything in their power to convince her, but in the end it has to be her choice. Free will is a bitch, but so is their obsession with Jayde.

Publisher's Note: This book contains explicit sexual content, graphic language, and situations that some readers may find objectionable. Anal play/intercourse, male/male sexual practices, ménage (m/m/f).

When Jayde’s grandmother passes away, she inherits her bakery and a mysterious box. The bakery, she anticipates. The strange moonstone necklace waiting inside a puzzle-like container with the warning “Beware the obsession”, not so much. Strange things start happening the moment she places the jewelry against her skin. She becomes incredibly aroused and is unable to do anything but think about the two men that live above the bakery. Focusing on the future, she tries to deny her urges. But soon, it becomes apparent it’s a battle she’s bound to lose.

Lovers Marc and Anthony are protectors, and following the death of their previous guardian, they are more than ready to meet her granddaughter, Jayde. She has no idea of who she is or of the power she wields, and if they don’t want the world to fall into chaos, they must convince Jayde to return the necklace to the box of her own free will. Fortunately, they have one weapon in their arsenal that just might work–they each want Jayde so badly they can taste it, and she wants them as well.

Obsession of Jayde is a story that is well written and has a very promising premise. I loved the idea of a guardian that locks away sexual demons and protects the world from their taint while being assisted by protectors that are immune to obsession. The trouble is, the history of guardians and protectors is very loosely explained and left me scratching my head. Will Marc and Anthony stay with Jayde until she dies since she is obviously mortal (which leads to questions about who will become a guardian when you consider their relationship, the family line, and the possibility of having children)? Will she become something “more” as they refer to her being the third to complete them? I realize the story is ménage and an erotic short, but as with any paranormal/fantasy with an interesting hook, I spent more time trying to figure out the eccentricities of the reality and future versus enjoying the heat between the sheets.

With that said, the sex scenes are incredible, and you’ll need a nice tall glass of ice water to ease the slow burn you’ll surely experience. Marc and Anthony are undeniably hot, and it’s wonderful to watch Jayde grow from a body conscious woman to a self-confident one.

Obsession of Jayde is a quick read that is faced paced and sure to get your blood pumping.

With a long and bitter divorce behind her, Julia Stone is barely back on her feet when she's suddenly swept off them again by a hot young executive with a healthy appetite for sexual dominance. But after years of emotional submission to a controlling ex, will she choose to submit?

Workaholic Dalton Fairchild has slaved night and day to build his own computer technology company. All work and no play makes Dalton a boring boy. However, a chance encounter with Julia challenges the dom in him, and he must convince her that, though she's At His Command, submission is the ultimate power.

“Now there’s a cougar, if I ever wanted to do one.” This is the first sentence of At His Command, and sets the tone of the captivatingly sultry tale about finding love, acceptance, and trust where you least expect it.

While the cougar element is present, the BDSM theme is what will have you to wriggling and squirming in your seat. Falling for an older woman has its own set of obstacles. But falling for an older woman as a dom creates an entirely new playing field. Dalton knows he has to take it slow with Julia, but realizes that full disclosure about his BDSM lifestyle, from the start, is absolutely essential for their relationship to stand a chance.

Then, there is the flipside of the coin.

How will an older woman that has been through the agony of losing control to a demeaning husband respond when a younger man demands to be in control? The answer is riveting, because as much as Dalton requires submission, it is Julia that holds the key to their future. Without her complete consent and compliance, a relationship will remain impossible. She has to decide the terms. In our out? Take a chance, or possibly regret turning away from what could ultimately bring true happiness?

Felicia Forella has a beautiful writing style, and will engage your attention from the start. Her characters are well developed, and the amount of time devoted to each is just right for the length of the story. The material is tightly written, without any lapses or distractions along the way. And boy-oh-boy, is it hot, hot, hot! I soared through At His Command like a mouth-watering pint of Hagen-Dazs ice cream, and licked my spoon contentedly after.

If you’ve not read At His Command, put it on your TBR pile for sure. This is a story you won’t want to miss.

Taking bonding and exothermic reactions outside the laboratory…

A Binding Ties story.

Organic chemist Lara Brunner is at loose ends. Since childhood, her life has been focused on work and achieving success in her field. Only now, weeks away from her tenure review, she realizes she’s pushed herself too far. Casting about for a way to release her stress-crazed body from career tension, she visits a BDSM retreat, hoping a weekend of sexual submission will do the trick.

Inducting her into the lifestyle is her at-work nemesis—Jaxon Greene. But the sinful intent she encounters in Jaxon’s sexy eyes makes her heart race with desire…and fear. Gorgeous men like him don’t go for zaftig academics like her. Once the fantasy weekend is over and real life returns, he’ll forget all about her.

Jaxon is blindsided by his intense attraction to Lara. The more time he spends with her, the stronger their invisible bonds become. Bonds that are stronger and more permanent than any knot he can tie. He’s not normally into converting vanilla women to his lifestyle, but something makes him want to cast his inhibitions aside and claim her for his own.

First, though, he has to free her from preconceived notions of proper sex…and love.

Warning: This story contains bondage and whips and sexy professors—oh my!

She yearns to turn control over to a man who knows how to use it to bring her to the edge. Again and again. On the verge of achieving tenure at an elite university, the only crazy thing Professor Lara Brunner has done in years is work herself into exhaustion, attaining professional success not only at a shockingly young age, but in the male-dominated world of chemistry. She achieved all this through dedication, long hours and total self-control. But secretly, she wants to know what it is like to let go of that control.

Enter her nemesis, Professor Jaxon Greene – unconventionally handsome, a successful Hollywood screenwriter, and comfortable in his skin in a way curvy but brilliant Lara has never been. And the Dom who has agreed, unbeknownst to either of them, to train her in her first submissive experience. But while Jax is the trainer, he learns some things too. His weekend with Lara takes him new places. Places he’s never been and feared he’d never reach after a bad experience with a submissive years ago.

In finding their way with each other, Jax and Lara have plenty of hurdles to overcome. There is the cautionary tale of Jax’s former lover/submissive. The University prohibits faculty fraternization – and Lara is especially vulnerable as the vote on her tenure is imminent. Watching Jax and Lara face the obstacles within, between and outside them provides an interesting storyline, while their intimate moments will have you turning up the fan!

Although not the first story to explore the theme of the independent, Type-A career woman who wants to experience--nay craves--letting go of all control, Maison Domine is a fun, sexy and interesting look at such a woman. And the theme is carried throughout the story, in fact to the point that it is almost too much, in that Ms. Kade seems at times either not to give credit to, or trust her readers to have followed along with her (or maybe herself to have brought us along). There were also some minor moments of language awkwardness, and continuity issues that occasionally took me out of the scene.

In all, if you are looking for a gentle initiation into the BDSM world, and exploration of the motivation of the players in that world, I recommend Maison Domine. While it may not have found a permanent home on my keeper shelf, Ms. Kade is a delightful new talent, and I definitely look forward to reading more of her work.

For Elain Pardie, every night is a three dog night. With Ain, Brodey, and Cail Lyall as her mates, Elain's biggest worry is getting through her wedding. She doesn't want to let the cat out of the bag to her mom that she's living with three Alpha wolf shape-shifters.

Between learning about her new way of life, a creepy, mysterious stranger in town, and a hot-to-trot feline shifter with her sights set on Brodey, Elain's got her hands full. Not to mention her strange need for a hunt is back with a vengeance. Can life get any crazier?

Ain, Brodey, and Cail suspect it can: someone's killing shifter mates. As a cousin and his new mate move in, Ain's worries mount. And while trying to untangle secrets of Elain's distant past, Ain discovers a connection to an old family that could threaten not just their happiness...but their very lives.

Elain Pardie has tried to run away from her reality, the reality that she is in love with all three Lyall brothers. These are not just any three men; they are triplets who are also alpha shape shifters. In book three of Tymber Dalton’s Triple Trouble Series, Elain has come home with the boys.

Elain is is deeply in love with all the brothers equally, but she can’t help but continually question the relationship. Things come to an ugly head when Elain and Brodey run into someone from Brodey’s past, a woman who he thought was the ONE. For these canine shifters finding the ONE means you've found your one and only mate for life. Through jealousy and a huge misunderstanding, Elain walks out on Brodey and questions his love and loyalty.

In the meantime Elain has neglected to let the brothers know that there is a mysterious stranger who knows her name and a little too much information about her personally. Thing is, she feels comforted in his presence--yet another secret she is keeping from her men. The Brothers are concerned for Elain’s safety when they discover what Elain’s connection is to their world. The arrival of the Lyall brother’s cousin sparks some heated feelings that Elain has concerning the mating ritual and causes some tension within the love story.

While this is a wonderful read, with fantastic characters and an intriguing plot, I don't believe it will stand alone. I feel it would be quite confusing without having read the first two books -- something that should be done in order to understand entire story.

If you desire sexy shape shifter who can’t hold their Alpha personalities at bay for the woman they love then this is the book--or the series!--for you. This erotic tale is captivating until the last word, which to its only fault is a cliffhanger. Many questions are unanswered but feed your desire for more in Book Four. I hope the author hurries and gets it released soon!

Attorney Amanda Oliver’s job is to prove Drake Andrew innocent of murder, not to secretly lust after him during their consultations. But he is young and hard and taut, and she can't remember a time when she reacted to a man like this. Not just a man. A client.

In a moment of helpless surrender to their forbidden passion, she jeopardizes both his freedom and her career. For there is no privacy in prison, and the deputy posted at the door witnessed their entire brazen encounter through a small window.

With proof of their jailhouse tryst, the deputy thrusts them both into a game of sexual blackmail. He threatens to expose Drake and Amanda unless they participate in his sex games. Amanda is determined to thwart her blackmailer, until she’s swept into a maelstrom of dark and heady desire with two men who feed her most erotic fantasies…

In one moment your life can be turned upside down.

Amanda learns this lesson all to well, when she submits to the temptation of Blake. The hunky younger man is her client and should be off limits. The sexual tension between Amanda and Drake that sizzled from the very beginning, and kept me wriggling in my seat. I absolutley believe this illicit attraction helped make the situation more believable, as does Amanda's attraction to the deputy. The scenes are hot and well-written, and realistic enough that I could believe something like this story could actually happen

I did question why the deputy made his advances the way he did and not in a normal one -- by, say, asking her out on a date. Thankfully, Ms. Logan answers this question and also ties up all the loose ends in the case against Drake. As a crime buff I kinda saw where it was going, but this is still a fun and sexy read. I absolutely and whole-heartedly recommend it!
