Rodrick Dracon is the twin heir to the Dragon Inn. When he finds himself longing for a mate after being footloose and fancy free, he finds himself drawn to the most obnoxious, brassy woman he has ever met: Jaxon Sinclair. She is the one woman who doesn't melt when he goes by or hangs on his every word. She is just aggravating and down right sexy as sin! Soon the sparks fly, passion goes into boiling and Halloween approaches. Can a wolf shifter get this woman to heel before the full moon? Or can Jax turn the tables on this ladies man and tame the wolf?

Raine Delight has a wonderful sense of irony in this story. Jax is a delight; a strong and sassy woman who knows what she wants and what she doesn’t. But she is also able to see reason, and she is just a fun character.

Rod is the hot and gorgeous first crush that broke her heart, but he is determined to make amends once he realizes what Jax means to him and his future. Rod’s determined pursuit of Jax is wonderful, and Devon Falls is a very interesting place that I hope to visit again.

There is lots of hot and steamy action, and once Jax and Rod get together, the sparks really fly. The action gets hotter as these two discover the bond that completes them. This is fun to read, and not the typical boy meets girl love story. I recommend this one for all of those who like their romance just a bit less conventional.
