Once burned, twice shy…until the passion reignites.

Three years ago, heiress Crystal Moran gave her heart to a man, only to have it crushed by his accusations of infidelity. Miserable, she picked up the pieces and returned to the United States to run her family’s non-profit corporation. Now, just as she’s got her life in order, he shows up at her big fundraiser. He thinks making a sizeable donation will win back her good graces.

As if.

Greek millionaire Demetrius Vartolas knows his money can’t turn back the clock, but it just might buy him enough time to convince Crystal she belongs in his life. And his bed.

The reunion of bodies leaves them both begging for more. Rebuilding lost trust won’t be so easy—unless she can prove her innocence to him once and for all…

Can two people who shared a fierce love and lost it due to jealousy find love once again? Can they learn to get past the issues and find that passion? Can they admit what their hearts desire? Want to know more? Then you need to read Jealous Lover.

Although this is a short story, you can’t help but find yourself engrossed with Crystal and Demitiri. I like characters that know what they want and aren’t afraid to get it, but I almost felt that Demitri’s desire for Crystal came more out of revenge than love. He needed closure and being with her on his terms served his purpose. I felt that Crystal caved a bit easily, but I liked how she found her backbone as the story progressed.

The sex scenes scorched, but not because you knew Crystal and Demitri loved each other—I found that a bit hard to fathom—but because of the exciting writing. I would’ve liked to have seen the antagonist take more of a part in the story and aggravate earlier on, as well.

Now don’t let the few minor flaws keep you from reading this story. Jealous Lover lives up to its name and keeps you on the edge of your seat wanting to know whodunit. I give this story 3.5 cherries.
