On All Hallows' Eve, Molli's predictable world is turned upside down when she learns she needs magic to save her brother's life. Not only must she give up her innocence to feed the magic, she finds there is more to Decklin than meets the eye. Just who is this handsome stranger and what is he to her?
Decklin must convince Molli that it is her destiny to help him save the world. He has the means to help her brother, but will she survive her uncontrollable need to touch him, does she even want to? Is Decklin using his powers to control her desires or could it be love?
Unseen Path is the first book in Jambrea Jo Jones’ Silar stories. I love the world she has created, and the interaction between the characters. Molli begins as a confused and worried sister, but soon learns that her life is not what she has believed it to be.
The almost instant attraction she feels for Decklin is something she doesn’t understand, but she loves her brother Matt enough to do what needs to be done to save him. I loved that she was a strong female doing what she needed to. The passion that rose between Molli and Decklin was scorching at times, and written with a great deal of detail. As I read, I felt myself cheering each time Molli, Decklin and Matt were able to thwart the villain’s plans and strike a blow for the good guys.
I enjoyed this book a lot, and look forward to more stories of Silar from this very talented author. I recommend this for anyone who likes their romance hot and heavy, with an otherworldly twist. But keep the fan on high, because Ms. Jones burns up the pages in this one.
