To uphold peace between werewolves and vampires, Devlin Morgan, werewolf, must return the body of a deceased vampire princess to her coven. When he arrives he discovers Prince Zacarius Ivinovav, the ruling prince and brother of the vampire princess.
The attraction between the two men is instant, but their love is forbidden. Vampires and werewolves have been enemies for nearly 500 years, ever since the Great War. But Devlin and Zacarius are unable to fight their desire for each other and eventually give in.
They're torn by their emotions, but they'll have to work things out in time to save Zacarius from a violent stranger. Can they ever be together, or will the animosity between werewolves and vampires lead to the end of their mating?
Can Devlin forgive Zac’s lie of omission? Can Zac forgive Devlin for leaving him when Devlin knows Zac needs him to survive?
Prince Zacarius Ivinovav and Devlin Morgan are attracted to each other the instant they meet. Zac is a vampire prince and Devlin is a shifter, and there is a lot of animosity between the two races. Through a series of staggering events, the two men find themselves mated. When Dev finds out his new mate has kept things from him misunderstandings and halftruths drive him from Zac's side. But Zac can only survive with his mate by his side. Can they work things out? If they do, can Prince Zac survive the attempts on his life? Will the vampires let a shifter live among them at their coven?
Ms. Glenn does a wonderful job telling the story of the love between Zac and Devlin and the obstacles they face. It isn't easy, but it's beautiful and worth it. The scenes between these men are so loving and tender that you fall in love with them just as they fall for each other. I love how they start calling each other “my prince” and “my darling” so early in the story. Despite the misunderstandings and miscommunications they truly do care for each... they just have to work their way back to it.
This is my first Wolf Creek Pack book and I will definitely be picking up the rest of them as soon as possible. You cannot go wrong with this book.
