When one of Santa's elves stops at the Prairie Dawg Saloon on his vintage motorcycle, Cyndi can't resist taking a closer look at the classic bike. Then Bruce comes back outside unexpectedly and Cyndi panics, shifting to hide in one of the saddlebags. She doesn't realize the bike is a matchmaking reindeer in disguise. Comet knows all about the sexy little critters of Dawg Town, and he's decided the cute little prairie dawg is just what Bruce needs to cuddle up with him in his North Pole cottage.
Who knew reindeer played such interesting games? And who’d have guessed a reindeer would be a shape-shifting match-maker?
Sound interesting? Then you need to read Holiday Howlz: Dawg-Napped!
This is a fun little series of stories with a holiday flavor. Each story connects to the other Dawg Town stories but puts a unique little twist on playing good/bad elf. I was drawn in immediately and didn’t want to put this short story down.
Anne Kane draws you in immediately with her prairie dog shifter and elf. You want to see these two get together, yet the fun is seeing how they end up in the straw—cuddling to keep warm. My favorite character is Comet, the reindeer. Who knew a reindeer could be so cheeky? I love it.
The love scenes in this story steam. I like seeing two opposites attract in so many delicious ways. The scene in the straw... I had to check my screen for scorch marks. Although Cyndi comes across as a bit innocent, her sultry advances on Bruce the elf are so worth the read.
If you want a story that will warm the cool winter nights and has a twist of sizzling sex, then you need to read Holiday Howlz: Dawg-Napped!. You won’t want to miss it. I give this story 4 cherries.
