After six months with his lover, Cody yearns for monogamy. The threesomes he and Dante engage in are fun, but he needs more from the man he loves. Although Cody longs to tell Dante how he feels, he fears love and fidelity are two words missing from his older lover’s vocabulary.

The discovery of a naked man in Dante’s apartment confirms Cody’s worst fears. The cliché Dante uses as an excuse for his betrayal further clouds the issue at hand. Cody doesn’t know whether to trust the word of a man notorious for screwing around, or believe the worst and walk away from love he wants more than anything.

Author Amanda Young brings heart and soul to Dante and Cody’s story of a gay couple’s love for each other. Despire fears of acknowledging commitment after living on the wild side of debauchery and daring, the men must tackle feelings of trust to find true love or lose it all in a moment of unfounded anger.

Cody is a college student who finds his true desires fulfilled in Dante, a man twelve years his senior. Introduced into the world of ménage and strictly male coupling with daring feats of sexual pleasures, Cody wishes only for a monogamous relationship with his lover, but is afraid that in telling Dante of his love, he’ll lose him forever. Accepted by his family for his sexual choices, he is free to love who he wants but warned about Dante’s reputation for ‘love them and leave them’.

Having been disowned by his family, Dante lived a life fulfilling every wild craving he had with whoever he wanted until he found the virginal Cody and took him as a lover. Finding himself at a loss for words, he doesn’t know how to tell Cody he wants only him, thinking that the younger man would prefer to sow his oats. Expecting the worst if he shares his heartfelt desires of love with Cody, Dante keeps dark secrets, not only about his family, but about his love.

There is nothing in this story that cries out for change. In this tale of hearts entwined, you’ll find a well written story that has lessons about honesty in relationships that can prevent misunderstandings which can destroy even the best of loves. This is an excellent work, written by an author who will rise in the ranks with the best. Well done, Amanda Young. You deserve 5 Cherries.
