Kate Spencer loves her job as a vet in a wild life rehab. Working with the very sexy Quinton Tocho is an added perks. If not for the poachers who have been raiding the area of wildlife, life might be perfect.

Quinton is the park’s wildlife biologist. Determined to discover the true identity of the poachers, he uses his ability to shape shift to his advantage. It works until finds himself locked in a cage in Kate's rehab. Can he escape without exposing his gift to the woman he fantasizes about? Would she care?

Someone wants the animals dead. Not unless she can help it—or he gets in the way first and shows her what a real good man can do.

Ms. Campbell’s story held me right away. I love cat shifters and this story didn’t disappoint. The details and scenery are rich, which kept me in my seat. Even the interplay between the characters was fun and sexy.

Kate is a great heroine. She wants to save the animals being hunted on her mountain. What would make her job easier? If the hunk Quinton would either show up and put out or put her out of her misery by staying away. I liked her because she wanted help and she’s devoted. She’s got spunk and a warm heart, which endears her to the animals.

Quinton, for all his elusiveness, is quite the hero. He’s handsome and just as dedicated to the critters as Kate because he’s a mountain lion shifter. The spin on the old cat shifter idea (a mountain lion) is nice and fresh. But for all his secretiveness, I wasn’t real keen on the fact that he hid from her. I wanted to see more build-up action between them.

The sex steams, but almost seemed a bit easy. I wanted to see a bit more trepidation on her part and a little more leeway on his. Still, the passion sizzles between Kate and Quinton.

If you want a story that will stick with you long after you close the book, then you need to read Purr-fect Man. I give it 3.5 cherries.
