What could be better than waking up next to a hot guy? Waking up sandwiched between two of them.

Quinn Preston, a financial analyst, is not happy when her friends dare her to pick up a handsome stranger at a wedding reception. What better reason to give up men when her previous long-term relationship had not only been lackluster in the bedroom but he had cheated?

Logan Reed, a successful business owner, can’t believe that he’s attracted to the woman in the ugly, Pepto-Bismol pink bridesmaid dress. And to boot, she’s more than tipsy. After turning down her invitation for a one-night stand, he finds her in the parking lot too impaired to drive. He rescues her and takes her home. His home.

The next morning Quinn’s conservative life turns on its ear when Logan introduces her to pleasures she never even considered before. And to make things more complicated, Logan already has a lover.

Tyson White, ex-pro football player, is completely in love with Logan. He has mixed emotions when Logan brings home Quinn. But the dares keep coming...

Take a woman whose been dumped by her boyfriend via email, add two hot male lovers then mix them together and what do you get? One darned good stimulating story of love and honesty. Double Dare by Jeanne St. James is a tale that will stir all of your senses, no matter what kind of lover you prefer.

After being dropped like a rock by a longstanding boyfriend, Quinn Preston swears off men for life. Not so easy when double-dared by her two girlfriends to ask the next hotty that she sees at a wedding function to have sex with her. Always concerned about social acceptance due to her overbearing mother’s community connections, Quinn is resentful and avoids all emotional attachments, however, one look at Logan Reed and all inhibitions fly out the window. He’s hot, sexy, mischievous, and flat out turns her down because she’s drunk! What a great fly in the ointment that was.

Logan Reed hasn’t been interested in a relationship with a woman since his marriage failed when his ex found out he was bisexual. He’s a charming, handsome, and fascinating character who makes you wish you could have a piece of him yourself. A little on the dark side, Logan stirs the desire for a taste of the ‘bad boy’.

His lover, Tyson White is a black, national ex-football star who doesn’t want to share him with Quinn, yet soon becomes just as attached to her as Logan when she offers her body to them both without holding back. She even accepts their relationship without issue which surprises them all. Logan is the dominant in the relationship, yet both Ty and Quinn have their moments in the sun too, which is refreshing and stimulating at the same time.

The story was well laid out and flowed along at a good pace. I could barely put it down and found myself thinking about the characters when I wasn’t reading it. It was well-worded and the emotional baggage each of the characters has was easy to relate too, even though I haven’t had the fantasy of a ménage fulfilled. The stand against racism made me want to shout for joy!

Double Dare is a story about acceptance and love without restraint while coming to terms with being social outcasts. In the end they stand up for themselves and come out of the closet about their relationships, proud to be unique and fight racism as well as their own personal fears. This trio will make you want to be a part of them too. It was a very inspiring story and one I’d recommend as a great read. This story gets 4.5 Cherries.
