In Heaven and Hell, all things are relative. Archangels are both defenders of the innocent and tortured souls. Demons may fight for the righteous or delight in carnage and death. Amidst the forces of light and dark fall the vampires -- not angel, not demon, but born of both and bearing the greatest gift of God: the ability to choose which path they'll follow.

Within the battles and the intrigue, the love and the heartbreak, come along and see how Lucifer's daughter heals the soul of the Archangel Gabriel. Watch as a vampire, born of a demon mother and angelic father, fights to protect others like her abandoned by their creators, and along the way, fall in love with the one being she's sworn to hate forever. Finally, you'll be introduced to a werewolf unlike any you've met, whose submissive nature is both a benefit and a vice which her Archangel has no ability to deny.

Heaven and Hell is a collection of stories within a series that follow archangels and their developing relationships. The exciting internal and external conflicts and great characters helped me fly through this book. Each story also sets you up nicely for the next so that the series continues to follow without interruption. All of these stories had great sex scenes that left my mouth watering, as well as a great love story.

Heaven and Hell 1: Gabriel’s Match
This story follows archangel Gabriel and Lucifer’s daughter Malina. Gabriel, despite being an archangel also has a bad side to him that demands him to be in control of his mate at all times. Malina is not the submissive female everyone would like to believe. Although this relationship was sometimes violent, watching it develop was definitely exciting. I enjoyed the fact that although an archangel, Gabriel has a bad side as a result of the battles and torture he has endured fighting on behalf of God (who is female in this series).

Heaven and Hell 2: Redemption
We continue to follow Gabriel and Malina. Although they have established their positions in the relationship they are still not out of trouble yet. Malina must make a decision to follow Gabriel or her destiny. This story also introduces some other characters pertinent to the series. You also learn more about the plot developments that thread throughout the series. I already loved Gabriel and Malina from before, and this story just continued my infatuation.

Heaven and Hell 3: Unholy Pact
This story features Michael and Gemma. Michael’s endless patience and Gemma’s spitfire attitude amused me throughout the entire story. After reading the previous story, I could not wait to get to Michael and Gemma's story so Michael could get the happy ever after he deserved. The author did not disappoint and all my anticipation was worth it. Gemma’s passion toward everything she does really shows in the bedroom but Michael is more than up for the challenge.

Heaven and Hell 4: Throne of Mercy
Raphael and Soluna make the most unlikely couple out of the bunch. Raphael just recently regained his powers and does not want to risk losing them because of a woman again. Soluna, a Mage and Werewolf mix, has more than enough power for not only herself and Raphael if only she can make him see that she just wants him to be the alpha she so desperately needs. This story may have had the hottest sex scenes of the series (not that the others weren't scorching). Where the hero and heroine lacked in ability to express themselves emotionally, they did not lack sexually. And in the end I was so happy that both of these characters got what they so desperately needed.

The author’s imagination really impressed me throughout this entire series. The way she blends history, folklore and fiction is nothing less than amazing. Her view on good vs. evil is truly genius. Once I started reading I could not stop. I cannot wait for the next installment of this series. I you need a good fantasy to get lost in, this is the one you ought to get.
