When Meadow accompanies her boyfriend home for a weekend, she expects to try to rekindle their romance. Instead, she meets his father Keefe—mature, sexy and Alpha enough to claim her as his own.

And claim her he does. The heat that flares between them quickly turns to something more and their passionate joining leads to a deeper connection. But Meadow’s father is Keefe’s biggest business rival, and Meadow’s a daddy’s girl through and through—and her daddy’s not going to like this.

Meadow is a self confident girl in her second round of schooling. She is no fool to the ways of her pack. Being the only child of an Alpha male, she is determined to hold her own in society and needs a man to not only stand behind her, but stand up to her.

Killian Rand isn’t that man… he is merely a boy that she starts dating. A boy who happens to the be son of her father’s number one competitor in the silver mining industry. On a quest to fix their relationship, Killian takes her home to meet dear-old-dad: a stud Alpha male in his own right. It isn’t long until the sexual banter between the two Alpha’s (Meadow and Keefe, Killian’s dad). Meadow urges Killian to stop his dad from claiming her, but when he doesn’t, it becomes violently clear that Keefe wants nothing more to take his son’s girlfriend for himself.

The sexual content in this novel is pretty much on every page. It is well written, and tastefully done in its descriptions. The only thing that threw me for a loop is the animalistic explanations between the two humans. Even though they are both Alpha’s of a pack, neither one of them transform, or shift in anyway throughout the novel. That is my only complaint. I’m a huge fan of paranormal novels, and the introduction of a shift or two in this book would have brought the reality of their paranormal world to life a bit more.

Overall, this was a quick, lusty read that left me wondering what would be the next step for Keefe and Meadow. If you are looking for hot, steamy interludes, this is the novel for you!
