Savannah Gibson needs a ‘stud,’ and time's running out. Her parents have already given her and her sisters an ultimatum. A grandchild or no trust fund. One thing keeps her awake: who does she ask?

Doctor Brandon Cooper is hot with his dark curly hair, solid chest and sexy blue eyes, but he’s also a colleague and a cowboy from Montana. He steer-wrestles on his days off and rides a Harley.

Thoughts of Brandon wrestling her to the bed and having a round of hot sex encompass her dreams and make her panties wet, but she doesn’t want a permanent fixture in her life, especially a cowboy.

Having grown up on a cattle ranch in Texas, she’s learned to hate cowboys. Cows are stupid, horses are ornery, and cowboys are arrogant, selfish, commitment phobic, mean, rotten…

Can she possibly ask him to be the father of her child?

I found the premise of Strictly Professional very intriguing, and I wondered if Ms. Sullivan would provide a new twist on a favorite storyline of mine. And I do believe I can safely say, yes she does.

While there are many things I like about this novel, unfortunately, Savannah Gibson, our heroine, isn’t one of them. Savannah has the potential to be a strong character, but I found her tendency to burst into tears at the drop of a hat irritating. Savannah’s relationship with her sisters is a strong point of the novel, and I truly enjoyed the scenes she had with them.

Brandon, on the other hand, is a thoroughly likeable hero. He is by no means perfect, but I found his imperfections to be lovable and realistic. Since Ms. Sullivan tells part of Strictly Professional from his point of view, I was able to get an in depth look into his character, and I could really see what made him tick.

Strictly Professional is a well-written, fast paced novel. There are a few minor editing errors, but nothing too serious. Ms. Sullivan does a wonderful job of pacing the story over several months, and that lends credibility to Savannah and Brandon falling in love. Is it totally believable that a woman in this day and age would marry and have a baby to ensure she receives her trust fund? Probably not, but Ms. Sullivan is able to pull it off successfully.

If you are looking for a quick read with a whole lotta steamy sex, then Strictly Professional is the book for you. I am looking forward reading the next book in the Stud Service series.
