Ben can't walk away from Aiden, even though Aiden seems to have no problem walking away from him, time and time again. In spite of his friend's warnings, Ben refuses to believe that Aiden is just using him, until a devastating secret is revealed. However, Aiden isn't the only one with something to hide.

Someone else is keeping a secret that threatens not only Ben and Aiden's relationship, but Ben's very life. Will they be able to keep Ben alive?

Love means being honest and trusting. It also means letting go.

There are few stories that really catch my attention. When I opened the file for Between Love and Obsession, I wasn't sure what I was getting into. Boy, am I glad I chose this book.

Ms. Ryan wrote the characters so realistically, I thought I was right there with them going through the story. Although this is a short work, there is a lot of emotion packed into fifty pages. The characters are likeable, even with their flaws and you can't help but root for them to find their HEA.

Be could've been written a lot weaker. I say that as a compliment. Honest. He's in a strange situation. The man he loves isn't really around much. Chalk it up to a bit of celebrity status and a whole boatload of other issues. I loved his determination. He's going to live his way and not follow the norm. That took a lot of guts on his part. It doesn't hurt that he's darned handsome in his own right as well.

Aiden took a bit for me to come around to him. There were moments when I didn't really like him much. He had trust issues that would've been hard for some to get around. That being said, his flaws and gaffes were eventually what made me really like him. He's human. And when he's with Ben, you can't miss the love and passion he feels for his partner.

Even the antagonists are realistic and draw the reader deeper into the story. Trust me, there are twists and turns in this book you won't see coming. I didn't and it made the story all the better.

If you want a hot little story that will stay with you long after the last page, then you need to read Between Love and Obsession. I give this book 5 cherries.
