Tired of being alone, Haley Dixon's let her IM friends talk her into something really crazy -- casting a spell to trap a demon lover for the night. She doesn't really expect the spell to work, but when it does she gets more than she ever bargained for.
Haley Dixon's trapped a demon -- but every spell has its price, and turn about's fair play. Taron, the fifth heir of the Severin Dynasty, just may be exactly what she needs.
Haley’s Demon is sweet, funny and hot. In less than 50 pages, Ms. Brown achieves a perfect balance between those three things.
In such few pages I found that the characters were very well portrayed. Haley was brave, saucy and quick-witted. Taron was strong-headed, fearless, and proud but he also had a deeper side which I liked. The couple constantly challenged each other, but that just made them perfect for one another. These characteristics made the story an entertaining, fast read, full of sex, humor and even danger.
The lovemaking is well depicted, although I admit that at first I found Taron’s massive bulge and forked tongue something amusing instead of sexy. Much like Haley my concept about it changed throughout the story, which began with a more subdued erotism to end with pure sparks flying. A good, hot and fun story.
