Drew’s friend Wendy means well, but her attempts to set him up with a new man is driving him crazy—then he meets Cameron—who drives him crazy in a very different way.

When Drew Weston’s six year relationship falls apart, his best friend Wendy is determined to find him a new love. It looks like she’s not going to succeed, until she introduces him to Cameron Murdoch, who is everything Drew admires in a man—both in looks and personality. There’s just one problem. Cameron has never been with a man before.

Drew is only too eager to ‘show him the ropes’ but in doing so finds himself falling in love with the handsome, charming man. The realisation saddens him, convinced that now Cameron is ‘out’ he will be a magnet for every red blooded gay male in the vicinity, and Drew will merely be the first in a long line of lovers.

Or will he?

Deliciously handsome Cameron Murdoch is absolutely perfect for Drew Weston except for one teeny tiny thing. Cameron has never been with a man. Drew is definitely up to the task of introducing Cameron to the joys of manlove, but he is not so sure he is ready to risk his heart.

Drew’s circle of friends rallies around him following his break up with his longtime lover by setting him up on one disastrous blind date after another. He is ready to throw in the dating towel when good friend Wendy introduces him to Cameron. Cameron has recently admitted that he is gay, and he is ready to embark on his first romance. Drew and Cameron eagerly indulge their smoldering passion, but Drew fears Cameron is not ready for a long term commitment. Will their fragile withstand the pressures of family disapproval and Drew’s insecurities?

A strong circle of friends, family conflict, and Drew’s self deprecating humor provide a wonderful touch of realism to With a Little Help from My Friends. Strong character development and all too human flaws bring Drew and Cameron vividly to life. The sexual tension between their characters is undeniable, and Drew’s determination to make Cameron’s first time with a man memorable is not only touching, but incredibly erotic.

With a strong plot, superb dialogue and witty banter, With a Little Help from My Friends by J.P. Bowie is an irresistibly charming and entertaining story.
