Ithiel meets Jason and Toby at a wedding, and a night of hot passion follows. But what will happen the next morning?

Jason is darkly handsome and delicious. Toby is quicksilver lightness and fun—and Ithiel wants them both. But can three men form an ongoing relationship, or is one night all they will ever have?

Weddings can be a bore—unless you meet not one, but two people who pique your interest. Then, the reception can become so much more.

Berengaria Brown writes hot romance, no doubt about it. This is a shorter work, but it doesn’t lack in heat. The pages sizzle. I really felt like I was there at the reception, slogging through the boring speeches and waiting patiently for the dinner course. I definitely felt a part of the story.

While this story is indeed hot, I felt it lacked a little. It’s short, which is nice for a quick, steamy read, but I wanted to know more about the characters. Yes, there are snippets about Ithiel, Jason, and Toby, but it wasn’t very much and it was like there was a bit missing—who were they in their normal lives before the reception. Still, with these little hiccups, I enjoyed the interplay between them as they talked, but it felt rushed. I understand the driving need the three men felt to get together for more than just coffee and I loved the heat crackling between them.

I have to mention the bedroom time. Yes, things move with crazy fast speed, but I felt the desperate desire they felt once they got to the hotel room. I’m still fanning myself from the heat.

If you want a story that’s got three sexy men learning the dips and valleys of each other’s bodies, then you need to read Carnal Connections. I give this book 3 cherries.
