Krystal is thrilled when Troy asks her to be his seatmate at a boring work dinner. He is a totally yummy hunk, whom she has loved forever.

When they dance, their passions combust and they rush back to her apartment to take their relationship to the next level: from friends to lovers.

Their night together is better than anything Krystal had ever imagined. But can it last? What will happen tomorrow?

Sneaking out of a boring retirement never sounded so fun or sexy!

Berengaria Brown’s work is guaranteed to make you squirm in your seat. The characters sizzle and the lust between them crackle. Once I opened this book, I knew I was in for a hot time. The writing is fast-paced. I felt like I was right there with them, sneaking out of the party and finding a hot time back at her place.

If I had a complaint, it was that this story was a bit too short. I wanted to know more about the characters—what she did, the company name, and how long they’d known each other. I wanted more back story on them, but I realize this is a short story, so by nature, things must be sacrificed.

Keeping that in mind, this book isn’t at all short on heat or scenes to make you want a cool drink. Krystal isn’t a typical tall, slim beauty. She’s normal and, in her words, twenty pounds overweight. I rather liked that she was imperfect. It made her easier to relate to. She’s got her little issues, but when it comes to Troy, she’s smitten. Troy is the typical tall handsome man that everyone wants. I liked that he’s smitten with Krystal because she’s normal and curvy. Things happen a bit too easily, but pairing the underdog (no pun intended) with the company hunk was nice to read.

If you want a great story for a bit of escapism, then you need to read Dinner Delights. I give this book 3 cherries.
