After being left for dead by an ex-lover, Noah Richards has let time and distance move him toward another chance at love.

Fear of another broken heart has kept Marcus Stewart from attaining true happiness.

With patience and understanding, maybe these two can find the connection they've both been looking for . . . in each others’ arms.

Sometimes you have to make the best of a bad situation. But what if the situation isn’t as bad as it seems? What if the situation is darned sexy?

Then you need to read Got Lemons? to learn more.

Ms. Hunter’s story is intriguing. Marcus and Noah work together. The idea of a workplace romance isn’t new, but in this story, Ms. Hunter makes it more relevant to the modern reader. I felt the angst on Noah’s part although not much on Marcus’s because his point of view isn’t as prevalent and I wished it had been.

There is a lot going on in this story, but the back story and uncertain point of view in the early going made it a tad cumbersome. That being said, I really enjoyed Noah’s persistence. He knows what he wants and who he wants and won’t back down until he gets his man. I related to his determination because I wanted to see him and Marcus get together. Marcus’s unspoken pain drew me to him as well. He’s tragic and I wanted to give him a big hug. Seeing him give into Noah, little by little was just as good.

Although the sex was hot, I wanted to see more interaction between the two. I know they got hot, but I wanted to see it! Still, Noah and Marcus are a sizzling hot couple.

If you want a story that will stick with you long after the last page, then you need to read Got Lemons?. You won’t regret it. I give this story 3 cherries.

On Christmas Eve, Matthew Cromby is fired by Dove Hollister, the man he has a secret crush on. But things get much stranger when, right in front of him, Dove is hit by lightning and wakes up a different man--a sweet, sexy, and untouched angel who has been watching Matthew, drawn by his yearning. Dove can't stay on Earth, and protective Matthew vows to help him get home, despite his desire for the innocent angel who is trying to heal his heart.

The Star Man is a story that offers something unique in the M/M genre. As a fan of Jan Irving, I was curious about a premise in which an angel comes to earth, falls in love, and heals the wounds of a tormented soul. It sounded fascinating, and although I worried the elements might not work, I’m pleased to say that the way she handled the material went beyond my wildest imaginings.

Matthew went to jail for defending a loved one, only to be shunned in turn. Now, he’s bitter and hollow, a former shadow of what he used to be. In the beginning, it’s hard to like him, as he’s caustic and spiteful. However, when his boss and fantasy man, Dove, is struck by lightning, things begin to change. The entity inside Dove claims to be an angel that has watched over Matthew all his life. Drawn to his pain, the angel seeks to eradicate it and replace it with happiness. As the story progresses, this Matthew is forced to come to terms with his past and discovers it’s okay to love and forgive. The emotions run high and at times are almost too much to bear.

The writing is wonderful, as I’ve come to expect with Ms. Irving. She weaves fascinating stories with memorable characters. I enjoyed the relationship that developed between Matthew and “Angel” and felt that the ending was fitting with all things considered. There is more here than a sexy tale (though you get that as well) but focuses on the growing trust and love between two souls who cannot exist in happiness without the other. The sci-fi aspects were a bit strange (angel isn’t an angel exactly, but an alien), but Irving manages to bring it all together so that by the end, it’s buyable and doesn’t detract from the story or the inevitable conclusion.

If you’re in the market for a story that is different yet intriguing, The Star Man is just what you’re looking for.

Fed up with her so-so sex life, Sadie Walker seeks out the services of By Request Inc., a business that specializes in custom sexual experiences. She expected a good time with a handsome man, a willing partner who’d follow her lead and do whatever she asked him to.

When the roughneck who’s been hired to take her on wrestles her down and demands that she submit to both him and his hired hand, Sadie realizes that unleashing her sexual side is a two-man job. She knows her afternoon in the barn is a one-time fling, so she’s ready to take all she can from her roll in the hay.

She wants a fantasy come to life—on her terms. He’s there to see that she gets what she wants. But the question becomes, what type of fantasy does she need?

Want to know more? Then you need to read Roughneck by Request.

Ms. Drake’s story reeled me in from page one. A business that consists of making a fantasy come true. But that’s not the whole deal. It’s an awakening, a rebirth—albeit through sex. You guessed it. This book had me at hello.

Sadie wants to be respected as the woman she is inside, not the glossy woman she’s made herself into or the poor excuse of a tramp’s daughter. I liked her need to experience sex as something tender, something rewarding, but at the hands of a man she considers her dream lover. I give her a lot of credit for going for what she wanted, but I would’ve rather seen her do it in her life. That said, I understood and respected her means for the encounter with Mason. Baby steps. She couldn’t jump into what she wanted right away.

Mason? Well, he’s every woman’s dream in work boots and chaps. Plus, he knows a thing or two about sex and pleasure. I loved how he worked to convince Sadie to relinquish control when she really wanted to have the situation in her hands. His selective forcefulness was really hot.

Although the ending isn’t what I expected, it worked for the story.

If you want a story with sizzling hot sex and a series of plot twists you won’t expect, then you need to read Roughneck by Request. I give this one 4 cherries.

Jesse doesn't like vampires, and he purposely avoids Gabriel whenever he can. But he can't deny the attraction he feels for the man, either.

When Jesse witnesses a murder, he finds himself on the run -- caught in a deadly cat and mouse game. With Jason and Julian on vacation in Greece, Jesse's only choice is to turn to the one man he's been trying to ignore.

He’s the one man Jesse needs and he’s the last man he wants, but he’s all Jesse’s got.

Intrigued? I was, so I read Bad Blood.

I know when I get a Mychael Black story, I’m going to come away from it pleased, intrigued, entertained, and wanting more. This book is definitely one that I want more of!

Although this story has fantasy aspects, I really felt like I was there with Jesse and Gabriel as they got to really know each other. I liked the addition of Lilith and the unasked questions that came to mind as she showed up. And the dual but intertwined storylines can be overdone, but not in this instance. Mr. Black writes with an insistency and an integrity lacking in many stories.

Jesse, the drummer for Firestarter, is unique. He has a thing for Gabriel, yes, but the fact that Gabriel is a vampire scared the living heck out of him. I liked that because many times we meet people who are really decent people, but we judge the book by the cover and convince ourselves we can’t like the person. But what really drew me to Jesse was his adventurous nature — when with Gabriel, he trusts him and that in and of itself was sexy.

Gabriel is also a worthy hero. He’s not all he seems and it works so well in this story. From page one, I wanted to know more about the vampire silently stalking Jesse. The extra dimensions to Gabriel’s personality made me root for him to save the day. Plus, he looked hot as he fought off the demon.

There are some definite plot twists in this story that I didn’t see coming but loved. My only wish is for the next story to come out because I have to see what happens next!

If you want a story that’s complex and sexy, then you need to read Bad Blood. I give this book an enthusiastic 4.5 cherries.

Lynx shifter Kelly White tries everything to rekindle the flame back into her marriage. As a successful litigation lawyer, her brilliance in the courtroom is no compensation for her haplessness in bed. Kelly is afraid she's going to lose her husband Andi if she doesn't do something about it soon.

Nicolla Evers, a fiery kitty-cat, lives a glamorous life as a famous adult movie actress. Behind the camera and stardom, she's unhappy and yearns to get out from the industry to live a normal life. The problem is her abusive manager Harry has her in a tight grip, leaving Nicolla practically enslaved.

One morning, in a wicked twist of fate, the two shifters accidentally switch bodies. Will the two finally find the life they really want? Or is it only the beginning of an unstoppable sex fiasco?

This story moves so smoothly, you won’t be able to stop the flow of words and can barely hold back the damn of curiosity it will evoke in you. Take two lynx shifting women whose lives are filled with irresolvable issues and hot alpha males, mix them with a wild case of uncontrollable desire, and you have the best dessert you’ve ever tasted, loaded to the brim with Whipped Cream!

Lawyer, Kelly White has no idea what to do to rekindle her relationship with her husband, Andi, after years of being the ‘boss’. She’s smart, in control, and completely at a loss as to how to salvage her marriage. Like ships that pass in the night, they drink their morning coffee and head to work without a simple kiss between them. Inhibited to the point of just plain dull in bed, Kelly won’t try anything out of the ordinary and just chalks it up to being a lousy lover. You almost feel sorry for her, though she has what it takes, only requiring a bit of kindling to light the feline flame within her to set her off on the path to ecstasy.

As a porn star, Nicolla Evers thrives on sex, drugs, and the two feline men of her dreams, brothers, Tyler and Gunnar, but is stuck in limbo as her shifty manager cons her into signing a contract that locks her into working for him for nothing for twenty-five years. Her two hunky playmates give her love, sex and anything else she wants, doing their best to protect her from her own nature.

When the two women shift, awaking in each other’s bodies beside men they don’t know, they are shocked yet try to wing it and pretend they have amnesia rather than let the men know they’re not who they appear to be. The excitement starts when Kelly learns to love her body and use it for pleasure while Nicolla sets out to seduce Kelly’s husband and give him back his manhood and confidence to save the woman’s marriage. Kelly in turn uses her mind to outwit the manager and give Nicolla the freedom she craves to get out of ‘the business’.

The characters each leap off the pages with passion, wild kitty sex, emotions, and love that will titillate and thrill you. The writing is exceptional and kept me riveted. There was nothing about this story I didn’t like. The plot was well thought out and implemented while the two female characters not only fulfilled every woman’s desire, but the men got their own shares too. The best part was that the women become friends from opposite sides of the track and see their lives in different lights. It’s a win-win for all story (except for the bad guy). Loved, loved, loved the entire story.

You won’t be able to put this book down! A Best Book, it’s a wild, wet, and wonderful story that will make you want to keep turning pages to get a taste of what’s next. I’d buy this author’s work in a heartbeat!

Lord Sevryn is home for a visit with his intemperate mother and spoiled siblings. Between rants about lowborns, courtesy of his mother, Sev makes a wondrous discovery; one of the maids his mother hired in his absence is his Goddess-destined soulmate.

Or is she? Bettina is his soulmate, to be sure, but otherwise she's not what she seems. Her reasons for avoiding Sev are complicated. Mates don't hide things from one another, and there is a lot Bettina is hiding. For one thing, she's not lowborn. Raised in the lap of luxury, she decided to run rather than embrace a power that threatens her mind and heart.

What do you do when you have a gift you aren’t sure you really want, but you’re called upon to use it?

This is the first in the Planet Kielan series by Brenna Lyons and its one not to be missed.

When Ms. Lyons writes a fantasy story, she knows what she’s doing. I felt transported immediately to a whole new world with characters I wanted to know more about. Her heroines are tortured and strong while her heroes are yummy delights.

I liked Bettina from the beginning. She’s got a lot of things going on in her past that she doesn’t really want to deal with. I found that interesting and something I could relate to. We all have something we don’t really want others to know about and the way Bettina deals with it is realistic. I wanted to see her grow and come into her own as the story progressed and Ms. Lyons wrote it with a tenderness I won’t soon forget.

As a hero, Sev is wonderful. He has an idea of Bettina’s precog state, but he’s also not willing to push her to deal with it. I liked that he relentlessly pursued her. When he wanted something, nothing and no one—even his irritating mother—held him back.

If I had any issues with this story, I wanted to see more passion develop between Bettina and Sev. It seemed like the coupling happened fast, and though I realize this is a short story, I wanted to see more sensuality between them. What helped for me was the mindlinks between them. At times, the links they shared were sexier than actual intercourse because they trusted each other.

What I found touching was Ms. Lyons’ descriptions of Bettina’s mother and her issues. What could’ve been written very heavy-handed was dealt with in a suave manner that explained without making her mother look foolish. Kudos.

If you want a story that has more going on than meets the eye, then you need to read Time Currents. I give this one 4 cherries.

When Maya Abernathy accepts the gift of a cruise from her best friend, the last thing she expects is a swingers cruise filled with nudists and deviants having orgies in the open air. Prude that she was, she couldn't wait for the first port of call where she could disembark and get away from the revelers for at least a little while. When she finally gets her chance, she can't believe she's late and misses the boat…literally. Will she catch up with the ship and return to her unwanted vacation or is she better off with the three men willing to make her vacation the best one she's ever had?

Franco Rigatti and his best friends, Dante De Luca and Jacob Cameron just opened up a booming new business in the Caribbean -- night swimming with the dolphins. The last thing they expected was to find a woman they couldn't read who was the perfect specimen for them to share, if they could only convince her to allow it. Can the three sexy vampires convince the stranded Maya to stay on the island with them, or will she run back to the ship screaming when she finds out what they really are?

“What in the world did they put in the water where these guys come from?”

Whatever “it” is it does the body good! At least it does from Maya’s point of view and after meeting Dante, Franco and Jared in Tianna Xander’s Sinful Heat, I think you’ll agree. What’s better than super hot sexy vampires with the ability to read minds, manipulate objects and control actions (except for Maya –but you’ll have to read the book to see why)…these fangers are shifters as well! EEK! More than once Maya notes that her blood nearly comes to a boil as her heart races when in the proximity of one of the men. I can totally understand why! Fan Please!!

I enjoyed the snappy and often humorous dialogue of Sinful Heat. Maya is no shrinking violet. She holds her own very well verbally and physically against three very dominant men. Unlike some “mate & men” type books she doesn’t just accept fate and give in to the idea of belonging to a man much less three men who easily overpower her. Not quickly, anyway, I can’t imagine any woman who could hold out against a three man seduction too long.

I was interested to note that Maya is not your typical size 2 petite romance heroine. Instead, Ms. Xander takes a risk by making Maya not only tall (5’11) but with a build, on a smaller person, that would be considered plus size. There is much discussion in the first part of the story regarding her size but you get the impression that she is comfortable with her size and the men, while surprised at first, quickly notice all her positive attributes. Bravo to Ms. Xander for a bold move that, I feel, not only is fitting for this story but will resonate with many readers who want to read about “real” women.

The story is pretty fast-paced and has clever twists and turns to keep the reader engaged. This isn’t my first time to read an exciting tale from Ms. Xander and it won’t be my last.

Andrea wants to submit, but not to just any so-called Dom. He has to be tougher than the slum-bred bullies she grew up with. She’d given up finding a true Dom when her friend finagles her a place as a trainee in an exclusive BDSM club with the powerful Shadowlands Masters. Andrea’s thrilled...and terrified.

Forced to accept an unknown submissive into his carefully run trainee program, Master Cullen is furious. Not only is the young woman new to BDSM, but she’s unsuited to her role--armoured in leather like a Domme, she’s more liable to punch a Dom than kneel. He decides to push her right back out the door. But as he ruthlessly intimidates her, punishes her, then comforts her, his glimpses of the woman inside the emotional armour intrigue him and her utter surrender captures his heart.

Although Master Cullen is famous for his unfettered lifestyle, Andrea believes he might be interested in her, until she discovers he’s not just a bartender--he’s a cop. Maybe he’d overlook her past brush with the law, but when another trainee accuses her of stealing money, Andrea's sure she’s lost the Master she wanted with all her heart.

Cherise Sinclair’s Masters of the Shadowlands series is a personal favorite of mine. There is so much heat, sexual tension, and emotion that you can’t help but long for more. That was why I was thrilled to get the opportunity to review the newest installment, Lean On Me. In this, we get Master Cullen’s story, and allow me to say, it doesn’t disappoint.

From the start, I knew that Andrea would be the perfect foil to bring Master Cullen to his knees. She’s spunky, she’s smart, and she’s got a lot of baggage. As someone searching for a sub to care for, Cullen needed someone who would require special attention and notice to get under his skin. Their relationship at the start is rocky, hindered by their reluctance to confess to an attraction. However, when the gloves come off, the sparks most definitely fly.

He’s the kind of man who won’t settle for less than total surrender, while she is a woman who wants to give control over to a man she can trust so badly she can taste it – but doesn’t dare allow herself to. The back stories of the two come together beautifully, and the delivery is spot on.

There are other perks presented for Shadowland enthusiasts, as you get snippets from Nolan and Beth, Dan and Kari, and Z and Jessica. It’s a worthy reunion that provides very welcome surprises. That’s not to say that in true Sinclair fashion that you don’t get some heavy emotional moments that wring out your heart, as Cullen and Andrea have demons to battle. Rather, you get a mixture of everything, and it makes for a very enjoyable story that ends long before you want it to.

A definite must read for BDSM/Sinclair fans, as well as those who love this series. Master Cullen was wonderful to get to know and Andrea is a heroine I won’t soon forget. Be sure to put Lean On Me on your TBR list. This is one story in an amazing series that you don’t want to miss.

Never quite fitting in, Marie has always struggled with her identity. Adam has shown her just how sensual she can be, but despite this awakening she still doesn’t feel complete. That’s because she’s not. Orphaned at birth and raised by humans, practical Marie has no idea of her dual heritage as tiger and woman, or the role she must play to save her species.

When Adam discovers that his alluring girlfriend is not only a Pantherian tiger but carries unique genetic traits that could save their species, he asks Ean to join them as the third partner in the traditional Pantherian mating triad. With the future of the species at stake, the sexy shifters have only one week to convince her that not only is she a tiger, but she must mate with both men to save the Pantherians from extinction.

Adam and Ean may finally give Marie what she has longed for. After losing her foster parents Marie had a hole inside of her she felt only having children and a family could fill. Just when she realized the hole may never be filled, along come Adam and Ean telling her that she could have everything she wanted plus more. The problem is the only way to give her all of it is for her to learn and accept what she really is—a tiger shifter.

Although the main plot of the story was well thought out, the subplots left me wanting a little more. I think part of the reason may have been the author was trying to fit too many different subplots into this story. I would like to have seen more about Ean’s conflict between losing his wife and finding Marie. I would also have liked to have some resolution in regards to Marie’s biological parents. It seemed to be a significant factor in the plot of the story, yet there was really no closure with respect to it.

I did, however, enjoy the devotion all three characters showed one another, which kept their relationship moving forward. Even when Marie was angry and did not want to deal with either man, you could still tell she genuinely cared about each, and although disappointed and confused she still did not want to leave or harm them.

This story was unique because it focuses a lot of attention on Marie becoming pregnant, which you do have in some romance/erotic stories, but it is usually fleeting and unimportant throughout the story. In The Tiger’s Tale, the pregnancy played a large role. Marie’s one wish in life was to have her own child and these two men figured out a way to give her just that. I think in this aspect many women, who want nothing more than to have a child, will be able to relate to this storyline, making it even more appealing.

The lack of progression during Maria’s pregnancy did leave me a little unfulfilled. Again this may be due to the fact that the story has many different subplots. That warm fuzzy feeling you normally get when reading a romance is missing. It also does not have the intensity you expect in an erotica story. The only relationship that really seemed to develop during this time was hers with Ean, which the story did need.

I like the fact that Ms. Malone incorporated the fact they were shifters very thoroughly throughout this story. Not only were the emotions important because they were shifters, but in certain parts, particularly the pregnancy, the actual physical shifting was also important. Many stories use the notion of shifting as nothing more than a plot device, but the actual animal form itself is really not required. In this story, Marie had to shift which I enjoyed because it made it feel like a true shifter story, not just a romance story that could have been about regular humans or shifters. The main plot and the unique notion of shifting kept me entertained thorough the entire story. All in all, this was a story I did enjoy, and I give it three cherries.

The sexy tale of Goldie and the three werebears.

When Goldie Lockwood gets lost hiking and comes upon an isolated cabin, little does she know it belongs to three hot and hunky werebear brothers. The guys aren’t thrilled to discover Goldie ate their food and slept in their beds. Not wanting to go to jail, she suggests the men punish her for her naughty misdeeds—with an arousing round of spanking.

Goldie loves getting spanked and decides that after having her bottom warmed, she needs a little sex to make the night complete. The only question is whether she’s going to sleep with one of the brothers—or all of them.

This short story loosely based on Goldilocks and the Three Bears is a fun erotic romp. Goldie Lockwood becomes lost on a forest hike and stumbles on a cottage just when she has given up hope of ever finding her way home. Hungry and tired, she finds the cottage locked and empty, breaks a small window and enters. As she is exploring she finds food, and a place to lie down. Little does she know that she has stumbled into the home of three sexy, hunky brother were-bears who are also highway patrol officers.

When the three brothers come back to the cottage and discover the break-in, they are very upset. Goldie begs them to “punish” her instead of “arresting” her. This book shows a fun side with some light bondage, spanking and group play, while demonstrating a bond between Goldie and the youngest bear-shifter brother. The fun begins with spanking and gets hotter from there. Whew, this is a hot and tasty tidbit of a story!

I really liked this version of the old fairy tale better than I like the original when I was a child. This one is a lot more fun for everyone. Give it a try!

Charlie Matherson really doesn’t have a clue how to go about telling his friend Tom Harris that he’s gay. What makes matters worse is that Charlie’s been head over heels in love with Tom for more than a year. Finally, at a Christmas party, Charlie throws caution to the wind—and gives Tom a long, intensely hot kiss. Was it sheer desperation, stupidity, or both? Charlie's sure he’s really made a mess of their friendship. But has he?

What happens when you share a mind-bending kiss with someone who just happens to be your best friend? Do you go with it or tamp down the feelings in case it’s not reciprocated?

Joanne Kells writes a story with characters I could relate to and situations I felt like I’d been in. I love Charlie and his apprehensions. He’s such a funny guy but he’s so unsure. If the worst can happen, it does for Charlie — a missed opportunity, a broken body part, a misunderstanding. Plus, I love his innocence. Instead of being callous and jaded, Charlie is a refreshing, sweet natured character you want to hug.

As for the other hero, Tom is just a good guy. I like his approach to courting Charlie — roundabout. Tom wants to love Charlie. He wants to be Charlie’s everything. I like his selflessness, even when he trips over himself to make Charlie happy. I could relate to his need to be with Charlie even when he’s not sure Charlie wants him for more than a fling.

My only issue was I wanted to see things from Tom’s point of view. I wanted to see how he’d built things up in his mind and how he felt about Charlie in the early stages. Other than that, I enjoyed this book immensely.

When I opened this book, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but before I knew it, I was finished and wishing for more. I felt like I’d left good friends behind, but at the same time, I was satisfied. And I have to say the sex or mutual masturbation in place of sex was HOT. I felt this way because Ms. Kells wrote the acts with a passion I experienced along with Tom and Charlie.

If you want a book that’s original and sensual, then you need to read Half of the Other. I give it 4 cherries.

Susanne is one final challenge away from winning a national beverage competition and reaching the pinnacle of her career—a management position with a very wealthy client. She’s intent that nothing will stand in her way. Not even the drop-dead-sexy cowboy who sidles up to her at the hotel bar.

Lucifer Treyton Ryder is under express orders from his uncle to find Susanne and do whatever it takes to have her disqualified. Trey plans to take her to bed and keep her there until the security team discovers them together. It’s against the rules. It’s a foolproof plan. Until the auburn-haired beauty shows more than a passing interest in a bit of yee-haw rope play.

Before Susanne realizes what he’s about, Trey has her hands expertly bound and she’s forced to make a choice—play it safe or allow the devilishly tempting man full rein for an evening of uninhibited loving? A “perfect” stranger and kinky sex? Susanne’s about to make a choice that could cost her everything.

Enter one cowboy bent on using a silky piece of cord to bring you your heart’s and body’s delight. Do you dare? Or do you run? Or do you like things Shaken and Stirred?

I am a huge fan of MA Ellis. I know when I open one of her books, I’ll be taken on a sensual thrill-ride. This book was no different. I felt like I was really there at the competition with Susanne and Trey. Ms. Ellis writes with such fluidity that I felt like I was part of the coupling and each little act of passion and submission could’ve been my own. From page one, I couldn’t put the book down.

From his entrance, Trey is the cowboy of my dreams—tawny, tall, and handsome. I could immediately see why Susanne felt drawn to him. I want one of him in my closet. Yes, he comes across as a bit overconfident, but his gentlemanly upbringing never wavers, even when he has her in his possession. And man, oh man, was it hot! My own cheeks blushed reading their exploits.

As a heroine, Susanne is unique. She knows what she wants and she knows her limits, but then again, when presented with a studly cowboy package, who would honestly resist? I liked that she gives in, but not just meekly—she lets loose with gusto. I could related to her initial apprehension. Bondage can be intimidating but her acceptance was exciting to watch.

And the ending! I totally didn’t see it coming and loved it. Trey made me melt all over again.

If you want a story guaranteed to singe your computer screen and leave you begging for more, then you need to read Shaken and Stirred. It lives up to its name. I give it 5 enthusiastic cherries and am adding this one to my keeper shelf.

Noah Littlehawk and Aaron O’Malley have searched long years for the mate they will share, a jaguar female to fulfill their lives and ease their loneliness. What begins as a job soon becomes much more when they meet Violet. Her quiet intensity calls to them. Her body makes them yearn to claim her with the savage hunger of their species.

Death comes for Violet Carson like a speeding train. She knows the shift from woman to beast will rip her apart without the help of jaguar mates. As heat and lust overwhelm her, two men step from the shadows to claim her body and soothe the fire that consumes her. But a human predator waits and he won’t rest until he possesses her, body and soul.

What’s a fate worse than death? How about the jaguar within ripping you apart to get out unless you find a mate to take you through the Estrous change? Our lucky feline gets two hunky beasts to fulfill her every need and then some, making this story a winner as well as a seat squirmer. Yummy! (Where is my hubby when I need him?)

High in the hills, Violet Carson hides away at her boss’s country retreat only to meet two gorgeous men who she instantly desires to fulfill her aching need. Yet she fears that taking them to her bed might not only kill her, but the humans as well. She knows what’s coming and it’s not a good thing for any of them. The other issue she struggles with is the fact that her boss wants her body and threatens her with dire consequences unless she gives in to him.

Violet’s unscrupulous boss hires two private investigators to watch her every move to make sure she isn’t at the retreat to meet another man. He tells them that she’s his mistress but they soon realize otherwise when they listen in on a phone call between the supposed couple. Now they want not only to protect her, but to bed her together as she kindles their baser jaguar instincts.

When Violet begins to go through the change, expecting a painful death because she can’t find a mate, she finds the two handsome men at her beck and call yet still tries to protect them from her own nature, not knowing they are of the same species. When she begins the Estrous cycle, they mate with her and give the reader an instant sense of connection as you follow the passionate flow of pure ecstasy. There wasn’t much in this story that didn’t titillate and please though the boss was dismissed from her life a little too easily.

This book receives 5 Cherries and is a great read for anyone loving a wild romp in the jungle of love.

Darian Spenser was raised in a world of social correctness, manners and cotillions. Her mother’s plans certainly did not include Darian’s college sweetheart, Davis Chancellor. Yet it would be Davis who nurtures and releases Darian’s inner vixen. Darian learns there’s more to life than where to place and how to use the fish fork when Davis begins his Love Lessons.

What do you do when you have prudishness taught to you from the moment you’re born? You buck the system. But what if the system you are so doggedly trying to buck is the very backbone of who you are?

Then you need Love Lessons.

This is a short story, but it packs quite the punch. Ms. Gage grabs the reader early on and doesn’t let go until the very end. The characters, though a bit flawed, are like people I know — real. I felt like I’d had a chat with my friends when I read this story.

Darian wants nothing more than to be the opposite of her stuffy, cotillion-attending, filthy-rich mother. She doesn’t want to be a prude. I liked that about her because it showed Darian had a brain of her own. What I wasn’t so thrilled with was her preoccupation with thinking outside the lines and acting just as her mother expected. I wanted to see her have a bit more backbone earlier on.

But my favorite character was Davis. Yes, he’s a jock football quarterback, but he’s got his own little flaws — he’s shy and he’s devoted. Now the devotion isn’t a flaw, but rather an asset in the long run. Where Darian is stuck in her rut, he takes the opportunity to rock her world.

Though Darian’s reactions were a little immature, I loved seeing her grow as a character through their lovemaking. The sex really scorches. I felt the passion between Davis and Darian and hoped they’d find their version of happily ever after.

If you want a quick story that’s got lots of heat, then you need to read Love Lessons. I give it 3.5 cherries.

Exposure tells the story of Dante Addison, a shy academic, and Giulia, a bold, sexy artist and model. Dante falls in love with Giulia when he is a graduate student, after she asks him to pose as the nude model for her photography class. She breaks his heart, and his unrequited love for her changes his life forever.

Twenty years later, Dante, now an English Professor at the same college, sees a woman at an art gallery who reminds him of Giulia, but he doesn’t realize that it is actually his lost love. She agrees to meet him later. He recounts his experience involving sexual exposure from twenty years earlier. By the end of a two-night-long bout of storytelling, Giulia reveals to Dante her identity, but only after he pursues her on foot through the historic district of the city.

Exposure explores a multitude of emotions, ranging from betrayal and heartache to redemption, passion and desire. The author uses the theme of physical and sexual exposure, in all of its various forms, as a vehicle to explore the fascinating psyches of the protagonists.

When does a past experience shape the future? When one can’t let it go.

Such is the story of Exposure.

I wasn’t sure what I was going to get when I cracked this eBook. The title titillates and entices and the story does much of the same. I felt transported back to 1984 during the first meeting and wanted to see the heroine/hero get their happy ending.

It took some time to get used to the large bits of back story, though. Early in the book, there are slower spots where the author lets the reader see into the past lives of Giulia and Dante. While I liked the concept of the back and forth, his view, her view, it took some extra reading and reduced the impact of the tale just a tad. I liked the elusive beginning. It hooked me immediately to find out who this model was and how she linked into Dante’s life.

I liked Dante as well. I had to give it to him—he loved Giulia for a long time and though he wandered, he never gave up on her. That’s sexy. But at the same time, I wasn’t real fond of Giulia. I see why she acted the way she did, but as a reader, I thought she came across selfish and one-dimensional. I liked the idea of her as an artist who is comfortable with her body. Yet she sounded almost vain which turned me off. She grew through the story as a character, but the initial irritation I had with her was hard to get rid of. Her tendency to control was an asset and a liability to me. I liked her forthrightness, but things seemed to go her way just by the echo of her voice and I found that a little hard to take. But she was the perfect match for Dante and showed him his true self, which was sexy.

Desptire those misgivings, the love scenes sizzled. I felt the passion and love in Dante’s actions each time he came onto the page. I wanted to see more emotion and less ambiguity from Giulia and as the story progressed her true feelings did come to the surface, redeeming her in my eyes.

If you want a sexy story where clothes are optional, then you need to read Exposure. I give it 3 cherries.

Being orphaned twice, tragedy defined starship captain Aine Lorcan’s early life. As a result, she buried herself in her work and earned her “Ice Queen” nickname. When she crash lands after a raider attack, it’s hunky Act’huran Commander Sammuel Jorvis who rescues her.

Sammuel and Ker have searched to find the perfect third to complete their triad. Aine first tries to fight the attraction she feels for Sammuel before giving in to his sinfully hot brand of persuasion. Meeting Ker only cements the love she has for the men and her feeling of belonging.

When duty calls and the Confederation wants her back, she wages a war of conscience. Stay with her men, or fulfill the legacy her two fathers died to help her achieve? Now with one of her men in danger, will Aine’s love burn out, or will she live up to her reputation of Fierce Radiance?

What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger…

The first two chapters of Fierce Radiance were so intense and action packed that I couldn’t help but weep for poor little Aine as I read her story and learned about all of the suffering and pain she endured at such a young age. Her character literally came to life and now holds a special place in my heart.

Fierce Radiance is a heart wrenching, scintillating, sensuous story that will take you on an unbelievable emotional roller coaster ride. The characters quickly leapt off the pages and made me feel as though I was a part of their family. My heart went out to Aine as she suffered through several tragedies in her life to become a strong, independent woman who quickly gains the heart of two ruggedly handsome alien beings. As I was reading Fierce Radiance, the simple statement, “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger…” continued to flow through my mind.

In Fierce Radiance, Aine, Samuel and Ker embrace a love that binds them together, defies time, and journeys forever into infinity, or so it seems. That is, until old fears and insecurities come back to haunt Aine. Torn between the two men she loves and completing her fathers’ dreams by accepting the Confederation commission that’s been offered, Aine finds herself in a dilemma of mass proportions. All her life, people have left her, regardless of whether or not it was by choice. So now, she must decide whether or not she’s the one who will be leaving the two men that she loves when duty calls. What will she decide and will they survive it?

Although I love Aine like my own child, I must admit that there were times I wanted to yell at her and say, "Snap out of it. Don’t leave your men because a good man is hard to come by, let alone two good men!" She was so focused on the past that she failed to realize what was right in front her. You know…the joy of loving someone, but more importantly, of being loved unconditionally in return.

Bravo to Ms. Dalton for providing us with a tantalizing story that is all that and a bag of chips. I mean honestly, who can resist an adventurous space journey that consists of a feisty, strong-willed heroine, two sexy, ruggedly handsome alien beings, a love that endures all time and space, and scorching hot sex scenes that are guaranteed to melt the snow on a cold, winter’s night?

But keep in mind, Fierce Radiance is not for the faint of heart. It will definitely make you cry and if you’ve ever experienced Ms. Dalton’s masterpiece, The Reluctant Dom, then you know you’ll need a box of Kleenex. I would definitely recommend Ms. Dalton’s second masterpiece, Fierce Radiance, to my friends.
