In a world where everyone has their place, Amaranth and Ash belong together.

Amaranth is a vasai, born with both male and female characteristics, and a soul that can reach out and touch the souls of others in order to heal them. But a vasai’s services are only for the Elai, and they demand sexual satisfaction as well as healing from their beautiful servants. Frustrated with these constraints, Amaranth wants to use his talent to help those who really need it.

Ash is a chel. Considered devoid of souls, chel are the lowest of the low. Not content with his lot, Ash steals from the middle class pel. One night he’s caught and brutally punished.

A soul in agony calls out to Amaranth from across the city. When he discovers that it belongs to a chel, it only confirms his worst suspicions about the lies of the Elai. Amaranth takes Ash home and heals him, an act of rebellion that could cost both their lives.

Amaranth's compassion for Ash soon turns to passion. Ash treats him like a person, not an instrument of sexual gratification. Neither of them have much experience with mutual pleasure but together they embark on an exploration of intimacy and desire that carries them to the heights of passion and love -- and shakes the very foundation of their world.

Jessica Freely takes us to a whole new world with her romance, Amaranth and Ash. Amaranth, an intersex vasai healer, is instantly a character I felt curious about and drawn to. Amaranth's world rocked when he reaches out to help a soul in need of healing, one belonging to Ash, a chel. Everything he knows about his world is shattered because he has been told up until now that chels have no souls.

When I first read Amaranth was a character with both male and female gentalia, I was curious about a romance and the sex between the two main characters. This wasn't just a romance but a heartfelt tale of healing after a brutal attack on Ash (there is a mention of rape later on but the act isn't shown). The characters fall deeply in love, even though them being together is forbidden. When Ash realizes the two of them can't be together because of their differences he leaves, only to have Amaranth chase after him when Amaranth realizes Ash is his one and only love.

After a slow start, this book dug into my soul with a love I felt jumping off the pages. At times I wanted to yell at Ash for being so stupid and I wanted to hold Amaranth as his heart broke when Ash left. That was how real the characters seemed to me. At the beginning of the novel, there is a foreword explaining the intersex words “sie” and “hir” but it confused me before and it still confuses me now. Amaranth identifies as a male, that was enough for me. The sex scenes were very well written but Ash is a man and Amaranth does have male and female bits. So I can't put it in the either the gay or heterosexual category.

In a nutshell, this isn't your mother's romance novel. Jessica Freely has created two beautiful characters that live on in my heart. Amaranth and Ash have an unusual love that left me wishing for more from this universe. This book was a different take on your average romance, even though it gave me the happily ever after I was hoping for.

Kyle Beckett has just broken the first rule at Pendleton International. He contradicted his boss, financial mogul Drake Pendleton, during a meeting and in front of his colleagues. Afterward, Kyle is certain he’s about to be fired, but Drake has other business on his mind—the business of pleasure.

High finance, a cutthroat boss, a late night flight to Tokyo, a secret crush and an office complete with a separate bedroom and king size bed. Put it all together and you get all the makings of a corporate seduction.

Kyle Beckett is called into a late night conference with his very, very attractive, very controlling and very powerful boss, Drake Pendleton, expecting impending doom because of a little blunder in a corporate meeting. Instead of being fired he receives the proposition of a lifetime; a boss who is as hot for him as he is for his boss.

This is a very short story, but it a step by step narrative of two men learning and fulfilling their desires. The description and dialogue is extremely detailed and personal, so that you begin to feel like you are sitting in the room witnessing every intense moment.

This is totally erotic and romantic at the same time. Morgan Lee manages to get across in a very short amount of words a total and complete seduction. You will love it!!!!

Max knows his family and friends aren’t sure what to make of his moods and impulses. But he’s in college now and ready to show them he’s grown up and ready to make mature choices. At least he’s ready for a serious relationship and almost ready to tell his family he’s gay. He could use a little help, though.

With his loving big brother gone forever, who is left to ask for help? Daniel Rocco, his brother’s best friend and his longtime crush, of course. Daniel is solid and reliable--the opposite of Max. But for some reason, Daniel seems terrified of what Max might do next.

Before coming out to his parents, Max is on a mission to get his sexy crush. Unfortunately said crush and object of affection, Daniel, is not going along with the plan. Daniel thinks Max is too young and comes with too many family complications. It wasn’t that long ago that Daniel was inseparable from his best friend and Max’s older brother, Matt. Max decides to take charge though, and convince Daniel that while he may be young, he knows a thing or two about pleasing a hot guy.

Maxxed Out is an amusing coming-of-age story that focuses on hot sex and easy companionship. This is part of the Coming Out series from Loose Id and has Max telling his parents he’s gay. The story is decent, though it’s somewhat empty. There are a lot of issues hinted at but never fully explained. Some of these include Max’s older brother, Matt, who died several years ago and obviously caused unresolved issues with Daniel. There are a few other loose ends such as how the couple is going to work once together with an obvious age difference and Max’s schooling.

What works though is the fun dynamic between Max and Daniel. Both characters are interesting to read and their connection is fiery. Daniel is trying to convince himself he’s not attracted to Max while an aggressive Max refuses to take no for an answer. This results in some inventive and entertaining sex scenes, which are the best part of the book. The characters feel somewhat flimsy as they stay in predefined, obvious roles. Yet this isn’t likely to turn any readers off that want a light, easy, and pretty hot read.

The writing is first person and alternating point of view. The perspective hops between Max and Daniel’s head without break so not everyone will appreciate this slightly chaotic shift in POV. However it’s usually easy to tell whose head you ended up in and the sex is the goal. The two men fall in love very easily but it’s pretty romantic. Perhaps not a satisfying meal but as an appetizer, this novella would please.

Jaycee Manz has been on the run since her sixteenth birthday. After growing up fast and depending on no one, how is she supposed to handle three male werewolves who claim to be her mates? Can she learn to trust them or will she continue to run?

Dane Glassgo, alpha of his clan and a special ops commander, specializes in tracking. He's waited for the past two years to claim his mate. Nothing or no one will stop him from claiming Jaycee, not even her fear... Pierre LeBlathe, brother to Remi and bonded mate to Dane Glassgo, knows his time is limited with Jaycee. But he is bound and determined to stop anyone from hurting her...

Mark Glassgo shares alpha duties with his elder brother, but when Dane finds his mate, Jaycee, he is shocked to learn she is also his mate. What he didn't count on was that he was also mate to Remi LeBlathe... Alpha Remi LeBlathe, one of the most powerful weres in the country, has always protected what is his. When Jaycee comes into his life, mayhem erupts around them, but Remi is used to mayhem and uses it to his benefit. In seeking those who would harm his mate, Remi must learn how to listen to Jaycee's needs and desires...

Together, all four try to find peace, and the most powerful alphas in the U.S., Remi, Dane and Mark , declare war on anyone who stands in their way of claiming their runaway mate. But can the independent Jaycee be claimed? In this sizzling werewolf menage story, love, lust and power take center stage in the struggle for ultimate survival.

Jaycee has finally found her mate. At least that is what she thinks. Dane the alpha of his clan has come to claim her as his mate but as things progress it seems that there may be more than one mate for Jaycee. Three men lay claim to Jaycee as their mate - but will she be able to trust any of them? Each one is different in his own way and Jaycee loves them each. Not only must Jaycee deal with her attraction to the three men but she is also hiding out from two abusive men intent on taking her as their own.

Dane and his brother Mark are both Alpha wolves - different in many ways, yet they both love their mate. Remi an Alpha from another wolf clan finds that he too is Jaycee’s mate. Each of the men may love her, but it is hard for them to show it making Jaycee feel more like a toy than a mate. Jaycee is a strong woman who has been through and endured so much in her life yet she keeps picking herself back up and trying again. I enjoyed reading about the tentative relationship that builds between the three as well as watching Jaycee come into her powers.

This book is a very intense ride. The characters, especially Jaycee, go on a roller coaster ride of emotions. If you are looking for a sweet story where the heroine meets her hero and they live happily ever after - then this may not be the book for you. Jaycee goes through a lot of pain in this story and she has yet to resolve it all. Since this is book one I can only hope that the following books will give the reader that happy-ever-after that Jaycee deserves. I enjoyed this book but I would caution readers that it is a very intense read including some deaths of prominent characters, references to the abuse and rape of a younger Jaycee and some harsh sex scenes as well.

Trinity Blacio does a great job of bringing the readers into the world of the wolves. Jaycee and her mates are great characters and I cannot wait to see how their story concludes.

Working undercover and pretending to be lovers with his long-time work partner should have been a piece of cake—except good ole 'Hels' wasn’t the person Dimitri thought she was.

Police detective Helena Peters has been secretly in love with her partners for years. It doesn’t help that he never looks at her as anything other than his work partner. What would he do if he discovered what she was really thinking?

His classic Greek looks were responsible for Dimitri Michaels’ arrogant success with women, so going undercover and pretending to be lovers with Helena should be a piece of cake, but she isn’t the person he thought she was.

Why was the only girl in his dreams now the only one who’d been right under his nose for years? More to the point, can he keep her safe long enough to convince her what he feels for her isn’t an act?

Undercover cops Helena and Dimitri have a new assignment… try and bust The Dreammaster, AKA Morpheus, a cult like figure who seems to be reeling in innocent couples and taking their money. Finding out just how he does it means posing as a real life couple.

Both soon discover they are attracted to each other and that acting like a couple isn't going to be that hard. Of course, having genuine feelings for one another ups the odds and danger.

I found this a very unique plot. It had mystery and intrigue and was a refreshing read from the everyday "hero meets heroine and falls in love" type plot. I liked the way the author slowly made these two work buddies realize they truly cared for one another. Dimitri worries and is jealous when The Dreammaster separates him from Helena which makes you like him all the more.

The dialogue is very natural sounding and the setting of the cult like-compound gives the story an eerie feeling. The author's use of sounds and smells adds texture to the plots too. The sex scenes were ideally placed.

If you're looking for something slightly different in an erotic romance, this is a story you'll enjoy and it's a quick read too.

Jin Bosun enjoys her life on the Raven's Rest station above Jotunheim. Her Terran mother, Myka, encouraged her to go out and meet new people. She has the perfect partners, Terran descended elementals like herself, so they opened a bar together. Elymyntyl. When the lord of Jotunheim puts a price on their bodies and their bar, Jin is worried. When folks start arriving to claim that price, she is caught off guard. Rescued by Ragnar, a fire giant from the planet below, Jin finds herself in protective custody and things are getting hot.

Just when I’m sure Viola Grace has reached the boundaries of her imagination, she surprises me with a new world to explore.

Raven’s Rest station, above the planet Jotunheim, is the adopted home of Djihntalia “Jin” Bosun and her two closest friends, Solial Kellan and Fehniel, of Aleyn by Baileez of Hickom. The three own and operate the bar, Elymyntyl. These three are elementals, and each talent complements the others. Jin is half Terran, half Dremari and is a water elemental. When someone on the planet below puts a price on their business and their bodies, they have to close up shop and hide for a while. Jin is rescued by a fire giant, and before long, the attraction between Jin and Ragnar gets steamy. But there are secrets here that may cause hurt feelings and anger if not handled correctly. Can there be a future for a water elemental and a fire giant? Will the secrets and deceptions ruin their chances at a life together before it begins?

Liquid Heat is the first book in her Elymyntyls miniseries, and is the first book of the Gaia Group, daughters of the Terran Times. These are new characters, with talents and abilities a bit different from their parents, and a different outlook on life. I enjoyed this first look at the children of some of my favorite characters from books past.

This is Jin’s story. I like her, as she is spirited and independent. She is able to take care of herself, and can think on her feet. When she faces off against two fire giants, she isn’t intimidated. I liked when she was able to actually communicate with the newly sentient planet as well, it added an interesting angle to the story.

Ragnar is the fire giant that rescues Jin, and who keeps her “safe” from his cousin. He is handsome and intelligent, and knows that she is his destined mate. I enjoyed the verbal sparring between Ragnar and Jin, and the eventual blossoming of attraction and then love was fun to watch. I was happy to see that his little bit of deception didn’t ruin what he was trying for.

This is a wonderful look at the second generation of the Terran Times couples. This has the delightful character development I have come to expect from Viola Grace, along with her marvelous sense of the absurd, with lots of humor and passion to it. I look forward to the rest of this series, and hope for many more of her second generation of heroes and heroines to delight and entertain us all.

Her father was murdered by an unknown killer. As she fights to retain control of the ranch and considers her heritage, Leah finds comfort in long nights of sweaty sex with Shane. And then there’s Grant Fallon, the geologist who wants to show Leah he can bring her more screaming orgasms than the hunky vet if she’ll just give him a chance.

But someone has an ulterior motive. Is it Shane? Grant? One of her half brothers? Leah might find the answer…if she’s not too busy chasing away the shadows in the arms of her lover.

Leah Morgan is having one heck of a day. She discovers at the reading of his will, that the father she loved and adored, who raised her to take over his ranch has also left behind two illegitimate sons who are now going to be her partners in the ranch that is her life.

Add in one totally smoking hot veterinarian, Shane Duffy, who has been keeping her hot, bothered but oh-so content; a geologist, Grant Fallon who would like to keep her content; confusion over mineral deposit rights on the ranch and this adds up to one interesting who done it! Who killed Joe Morgan, who tried to kill Leah and is everyone really who they seem to be?

Desiree Holt has written an interesting story with lots of twists, turns, sexy men, a Comanche grandfather, and a couple of promising secondary characters with colorful pasts that only beg for their own stories. This is definitely a modern day, western happily ever after. I especially love it when the knight in shining armor is wearing a Stetson.

This is a short story that could have been so much more because there was so much more to tell. Be that as it may, it was enjoyable, entertaining and smoking hot.

When Chris meets Kevin at his brother's school, he instantly gets hot for teacher. He can only hope that the sexy guy is gay. Later, when Kevin shows up at the gym where Chris works, Chris is sure he's got him hooked. A shared kiss is absolutely electric but then Kevin turns tail and runs. What the hell? Maybe he's in the closet.

Yes, in fact, Kevin is in the closet, Deep in the closet. He has to be. He's going to be a priest. While he's very attracted to Chris, he simply can't pursue it. Giving in to that attraction would ruin his life. Still, he can't deny what he feels so instead he vows to stay away from Chris.

But steering clear is not so easy when what you've found is Almost Heaven.

Can Chris tempt a priest to sin? Fitness trainer Chris meets priest in training Kevin at a local prep school. At first Chris doesn’t realize that he’s flirting with a soon to be father. Instead he takes advantage of their passion and initiates Kevin into some hot sex in the break room. Overcome with guilt, Kevin runs off and Chris soon learns his latest conquest is not what he thought. Their explosive attraction forces Kevin to rethink his future and Chris starts contemplating an actual relationship.

Almost Heaven is a fun, flirty tale that wrestles with the essential question of what you want in life. Kevin is nice character with a big, happy family. He’s studying to be a priest but he’s never questioned who he was. He always knew he was gay but never experienced the kind of attraction and desire he has for Chris. Although Kevin tries to fight their chemistry, he’s forced to really examine his life and future. The questions Kevin poses for himself are interesting but kept pretty light. Kevin experiences some shame and guilt over his actions but he always knows what he wants out of life. He just has to find the courage to go for it.

Chris is a good character, more simplistic than Kevin. He’s a good brother and the scenes with his younger brother are funny and heart warming. Chris doesn’t have the same angst and concern that Kevin goes through but he has some trepidation over making a commitment. The novella is too short to give a solid happy ending but it’s definitely happy for now with the hope for more in the future. Their relationship is fun, sexy, and filled with a good chemistry that is likely to carry them on.

The easy writing and good pace keep the novella very quick and light to read. The few angst scenes are handled with a light touch so this isn’t a heavy read. Instead it’s a nice addition to the coming out series and works well for fans of the author.

Gabe Moretti is reckless and daring. But Captain John De Luca isn't interested in hot as hell firefighters who charge into flames…regardless that it was to save his sorry ass. Only Gabe isn't as rash as John believes. His motivation for risking his life is personal…sexual. He's fallen for the captain and sets out to convince John that some chances are worth taking.

Romance celebrates living and Into the Flames grabs onto that belief bringing vibrant and urgent passion to life in this short but powerful love story.

John is the captain at a fire station so he carries a huge load of responsibility on his shoulders. It’s a demanding career fraught with peril every time they respond to a call and it’s his job to follow the rules and make sure the others under his command do the same. For him, following the rules is a personal crusade, and as the story gets told a reader becomes aware of an inner pain that really hasn’t healed and explains why potential rule breakers are dealt with more harshly.

Gabe is the catalyst in this story. He literally brings to a head the crux of John’s inner torment and makes him face what he’s done, or hasn’t done with his life. It’s Gabe’s dialogue that truly is the gem in this tale. If a reader is looking for the romantic aspect, then it’s all there. The prodding, the push for the truth and the eventual revelation that starts John towards healing, it’s all there when Gabe pushes the envelope.

What I found interesting was the dynamic between Gabe and John. Although John is the one in charge career-wise, I see Gabe as the dominant one. It comes across in his actions and words and he’s exactly what John needs. Gabe doesn’t let him hide and won’t let him try and he does that by making him step out from his comfort zone. The results are explosive.

Except for two editing misses, this is a well told, compact story that has as its heart, the story of two men, one who needs love and the other who needs to give it. It has a powerful message about living life to the fullest without regrets and without fear. Play it smart and the world’s your oyster - and Gabe is a very smart man. Read Into the Flames for a short shot of romance where the man love is hot and the potential for their happily ever after is just beginning. I know this because John smiled. Read the book and find out why that’s so meaningful. I’m glad I did.

What begins as a quest for submission becomes an unrelenting need for love.

Harmless, Book 3

May Aiona’s crush on sexy Evan Chambers is a bad habit that should be easy to break. It’s not like he’s ever noticed her. Looking for a safe place to release the reins of control and explore her curiosity about BDSM, May takes a friend up on an invitation to visit an exclusive bondage club—all she has to agree to is a public submission.

Evan can’t help but notice the exotically beautiful May. But despite his success, the dirty secrets of his past whisper that he’ll never be good enough for her. When Evan sees her standing in his club ready to submit to his best friend, he gives in to the thing he wants most—May as his sub. After their session, he knows one night will never be enough. But loving May isn’t easy for a man always ready to take charge. She might like to submit in the bedroom, but she doesn’t like anyone telling her what to do outside of it.

When May insists she’s not in any danger from the person seemingly obsessed with her, she ends up in the sights of a deranged stalker—with Evan possibly too far away to help.

May Aiona has always been interested in Evan Chambers but knows that he is way out of her league. Little does she know that from the first time Evan laid his eyes on May, he has wanted her but his own secrets and past keep Evan from loving her. Yet when May deals with a stalker Evan finds that he must intervene.

May and Evan are a great couple. She is a strong and smart woman who has her life together but is still searching for what she needs in the bedroom. Evan is a wonderful man and Dom. He stands by his friends and those that he loves. Watching the two try to figure out what their relationship is and where it's going was a good read. Evan may be tough but on the inside he is really a softy who cares with all his heart. He loves May so much that he cannot help himself when she is threatened and with May’s strong personality outside of the bedroom it leads to many a misunderstanding.

I just adored Evan. He is so far gone over May that he can not believe that she would want him or his lifestyle. He may be a strong man but he is very vulnerable because of his past. It was a nice thing to see Evan start to let people in and begin to heal.

Not only were Evan and May great characters but we get to see May’s family and other characters from previous books. Plus I just loved Micah - he was a great guy. I certainly hope he finds his happiness.

Well written and fast paced this is a book that should be on everyone’s to be read pile. I know that I am eagerly awaiting the next in this series.

Kalli Next runs Hell, a bar and cafe on a new colony jungle world. One night she uses her psi talents to stop a bar fight and the next thing she knows, she is staring at three new lawmen that she knows in her bones. Hers. When she is released the next morning, she has only one comment to make to the stunned men who know that she is their fourth--come and get me.

In this third book in her Four Ever More series, Zenina Masters has introduced a touch of danger to her story.

After stopping a fight in her bar, Kalli Next is arrested by the newest set of lawmen to Hakur. Her talent is the psi ability to render those around her unconscious, but the use of technology on the low-tech planet is illegal, and the lawmen don’t know about Kalli’s talent. They also don’t realize that she is their fourth, created specifically for them by the same scientist that made them possible.

Kalli owns and runs Hell, the only bar on the planet and is loved by nearly everyone on the planet... except for one man, a captain on the base who is upset when he finds that Kalli isn’t interested in him, and then finds that he was turned down by a “blender”, a clone. Can Kalli come to terms with her men? Can they manage to keep her safe from the captain? Will her three survive meeting the parents who raised Kalli with love and honesty?

I adore the world Ms. Masters has created, with three created lawmen needing to search the planets for that one who completes them. With this book, she adds a new element of danger from one outside the foursome, while showing how prejudice can corrupt a person.

Kalli is the strong and independent bar owner. Hakur is the melting pot of the colonies, and Kalli is the only cook in the area. She is dependable and talented, and very protective of all of her “people”. She knows as soon as she sees them that the new lawmen are hers, the three men that will complete her life. But she isn’t going to make it easy for them - they will work for her attention.

Shen, Ecan and Asher are stunned to find that the woman Shen arrested at the bar is, in fact, their fourth. The men are all strong, disciplined and desirable, each with their own distinct personality. Shen, as first, is the solemn and reliable leader, battle scarred but still handsome. Ecan, their second, is friendly and sensible, but less serious, and Asher, their third, is the happy-go-lucky one of the trio. All three are dedicated and wonderful characters, and each one is a delight.

I enjoyed the interaction between Kalli and her Men of the Golden Rose. There was a lot of laughter in this one, and the addition of the threat by the captain made this the best of the three books so far. I look forward to meeting more of Ms. Masters’ created lawmen and their unique searches for their predestined mates. I recommend this for anyone who enjoys hot and passion-filled stories, filled with fun and laughter, and a little bit of danger.

One brave act assures that the only safe place for Carli is in the hands of Wes and Ian (and believe me that seems like just the right place to be). There's no shortage of excitement in this story, and it comes in all types. As a matter of fact there's action, gun fights, evading bad guys, and taking refuge in the heart of one hot detective and in the arms of two.

I couldn't find anything wrong with this book. The story flowed smoothly, the editing was well done and the characters were believable. Caught from the very first, I wolfed this thing down in one sitting.

One note of caution before I wholeheartedly throw my weight behind this book. While there is a menage to this story it isn't the primary relationship or a permanent aspect of that relationship. That being said, I really loved this story. I went straight from finishing the story to search for the author's website and plan to visit more of her writing very soon.

There is something so damn sexy about a younger man.

Dumped by her husband of thirteen years for the younger model, forty-year-old Rachel Michaels needs to jumpstart her life. After years of fitting into her husband’s rigid mould, she’s ready to reinvent herself, and a fling with a hot younger man is just what she needs. Her sexy landscape designer is the perfect man for the job.

Twenty-eight-year-old Mark Beaumont is fascinated by the woman in her sexual prime. She's assertive and fun, with a vulnerable core. After giving Rachel her first partner-induced orgasm, he knows he wants more than just a brief fling—he wants to help her explore everything she kept suppressed during her boring marriage.

But can he convince her that there is more between them than just great sex or will she let her fears stand in the way?

Rachel is forty and newly divorced. Her friends encourage her to live life anew. At the beginning of the story, she's looking for a landscape gardener and just happened to meet Mark who's the twenty-something son of a friend. After giving her a ride home to check out her yard, it's obvious there's a strong sexual attraction between the two of them and things heat up.

If you enjoy an older woman, younger man story, this one's for you. Both Rachel and Mark are fun characters to read about and they're very likeable too. You can feel their attraction from the first second they see one another. Sex scenes are hot and well placed.

I thought that after Mark completed the landscaping job at Rachel's, the two might go their separate ways, but I was hoping they wouldn't and was glad when I found out they were in love and wanted this thing to last. Of course the story has a black moment but I won't give it away.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It's a quick read for a steamy afternoon.

In this relationship, he's the fox. Literally.

Dox -- part fox, part dog, part sexy man -- is a Hybrid, a shapeshifter, a quasi-human. And an engineer in the International Pod Program. Dox does what feels good, in bed and out, with no excuses or apologies.

Dr. Gabriella Matson, his mission boss, is a communications specialist and all woman. She loves Dox's sexual wildness, for he serves all her erotic needs.

When space debris threatens their pod, they must work together to survive. They've formed a strong bond and know that only their love and trust will save them.

Jump right in for a little sexy space romp filled with revelations and danger.

Hybrid: Dox throws a reader into the action right from the first few paragraphs. The very first scene led me astray thinking this was going to be purely erotica but it quickly proved me wrong, and for that I was very thankful. I first met Dox who is a person of talent under pressure. He has a unique perspective on things by virtue of his nature. He has feelings he won’t admit to and tries to hide them with some very effective diversions. His drive to survive doesn’t come from the instinct to live alone. I got the sense that he’s capable of much more than he’s willing to share.

Gabriella is Dox’s superior officer and yet I got the sense that she is more. I also felt that she, too, was insecure; not actually in her own feelings but in how they’d be received should she ever reveal them. It’s hard being vulnerable and that’s what I think the internal conflict is; basically it’s the question of trust – the foundation of any solid relationship. The question is, does the crisis that Dox and Gabriella experience build and solidify that trust? A reader will find clues sprinkled throughout the story.

This is a short shot of woo-hoo and for erotic romance readers short on time, this tale packs it all in – drama, emotion, fear, and explosive sensual and unique hybrid-type sex.
