Suzanne and Gino have history going back to high school, but for years Suzanne has been three thousand miles away, preoccupied with her challenging career.

A mistletoe kiss at a holiday party reminds her of their old bond and proves that some things get better with age. When Gino rescues her from a New England blizzard, though, she discovers that she's not the only love in his life. Gino shares his bed and his colonial-era farm house with taciturn painter Harris Steele.

Snowed in, without electricity or running water, the three explore the many shapes a triangle can assume. Although she's far away from her everyday existence, Suzanne realizes that she's almost home.

Eggnog, Candy Canes, and Christmas parties mark the holiday season and a trip back home. Twenty years of pent-up desire is what Suzanne Quinion finds she’s been carrying after attending a old friends Christmas party. When a classmate from high school, Giovanni Torelli traps her under the Mistletoe with a hot kiss, her life takes on a wild twist of events. Spending the night with Gino, and the day with Gino and his lover Harris was a nice touch in the plot. I love the parts were Suzanne was up front, honest, and showed concern about Harris, Gino’s lover.

For a short story, I was surprised at how well the story flowed with each change in events, from Suzanne and Gino, to Suzanne, Gino, and Harris. I am not always a big fan of short stories but I found that this one was a great seasonal story. Nice to read during the holidays - for cold months when you have a doctor’s appointment and need something to read while you wait, or on those short trips to visit the in-laws, and even on those rare nights when you can relax in a nice hot tub and read.

If you like reading seasonal M/M/F short stories then you will enjoy reading this one.
