Bound and Tied, Book 1
After months of isolation—and celibacy—claim partners Zach Braun and Jake Thompson finally discover gold. And, as their celebration spills over into forbidden lust, an unexpected sexual attraction to each other rises. Then they discover they’re not alone…and the spy is trying to make off with their clothes and their gold.
On the run from an Indian captor, parson’s widow Honor Whitaker is hungry, desperate, and determined to never let another man control her. Stumbling upon two men touching each other in an extraordinary way, she finds herself mesmerized by their tryst. And scandalously aroused by a totally different kind of hunger.
Catching the little thief is easy, but Zach can think of only one way to silence Honor’s panicked babbling. Kiss her senseless. One sample of her delightful lips leads to more…then to a night where Zach and Jake show her that a man’s control over her body isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
Even as the three learn to let go of the notion that pleasure is the devil’s work, someone else is watching. Someone who’s out to reclaim what’s his.
You are running through the woods trying to escape the Indian who has held you captive for the past six weeks and you stumble upon two hot, hot, hot gold miners in a lake enjoying the pleasures of each other’s body. What do you do next? Myla Jackson’s Honor Bound will show you.
Honor is a parson’s widow who cashed in her stocks, bought passage on a wagon train and headed out to the wildwest only to be captured by a savage Indian, and remain his prisoner. She manages to escape from her captor and while hiding in the woods she comes upon two gold miners Zach and Jake. Zach and Jake have been alone for quite some time and are realizing that their lust comes in many forms. They are not aware of being spied upon but when they return to their one room cabin they discovered they have had a visitor who took off with their gold. Finding Honor only adds to their desperation. Too much time alone and the time together with their guest brings to the out the loneliness of their lives. Will this gift from the wilderness jeopardized their partnership but most importantly, their friendship? This is a sexy, short little story.
The men are just a couple of simple miners who are looking for a break and a real family life. They are kind, sympathetic, and dedicated to their goals and to each other. Honor has so much baggage that the reader can truly sympathize with all her decisions as well as her hesitations. Her awakening emotionally and sexually is a sigh of relief when it finally occurs. The setting is perfect for the situation and the author describes it beautifully. Unfortunately the length of the book does not allow for what could be so much more in this story. Sit back, enjoy it for the short story that it is and look forward to the upcoming stories.
