Depressed and lonely, Evan has nothing to look forward to on Christmas but his TV dinner and store-bought cookies, while his lover, Drake, spends the holiday traveling for business. But a special delivery changes everything, and Evan finds himself in the middle of a perfect Christmas. Worn out from his stocking stuffer, Evan's not sure how he's going to handle his present, but when Drake reveals that Evan's gift is a threesome with none other than their hunky friend Mike, Evan summons the energy!
A Christmas present to top all others—oh, and there’s a little bondage for flavor. Interested? You should be. It’s a Perfect Christmas.
When I find a D.C. Juris story, I know I’m in for a hot time. This book is no exception. The characters pop from the pages. The writing is tight and kept me right in my seat, hungry to see what would happen next. Although it may be a little short on detail, it lacks nothing in heat and heart. Definitely a book I’ll read again and again.
Evan loved Drake so much they married. As far as he’s concerned, there’s nothing missing except time for Drake to be home. It might irritate Evan to be alone so much, but Drake doesn’t let him forget him. I loved the ways he demonstrated this devotion.
Evan might come across as a bit needy despite his situation, but he’s an artist and emotional. Drake plays off this quality well and really spoils his lover. Add in Mike—the one man both Drake and Evan want to touch. He adds a pinch of spice that Drake and Evan didn’t absolutely need, but it worked so well. Reading about the three left singe marks on my computer and melted my ereader. My only complaint isn’t much of a complaint—I want to know what happens next! I got so emotionally wrapped up in these characters, I want to know what happened after the last page.
If you want a story that’s red-hot and sure to heat a chilly winter’s night with Christmas cheer, you want to read Perfect Christmas. I give this book 3.5 cherries.
