Nailing an embezzler got him so much more than money…
Xavier De Los Santos is on the brink of financial ruin. Stratler Homes has lost hundreds of thousands of dollars, and Xavier’s best vendors are refusing to work with him. Worse, he knows who’s responsible: his embezzling ex-fiancée, Lindsey.
Jordan Belten is the accounting half of Belten and Belten, the prestigious law and accounting firm whose new client is pure gorgeous male on a stick. Jordan is more than pleased to audit Gorgeous’s records, and find out if it’s indeed the man’s ex-fiancée who’s brought a strong man like Xavier to his knees.
Ex-fiancé. Xavier isn’t gay. Jordan didn’t have a prayer...
What he did have were secrets of his own...
Have you ever purchased a book because the cover was so mouthwatering yummy. Well with Xavier’s Way before I even read the excerpt I knew I had to have this one just so I could drool over the cover. However, the cover was not the only thing that was hot about this book. Nope, I must say that Ms. DeRicci did a beautiful job in creating a delightful story with in the pages of this book.
Xavier De Los Santos turns to the law and accounting firm of Belten and Belten when he learns that his ex-fiancée has been embezzling his money. Jordan Belten the accounting half of the firm agrees to help Xavier prove Lindsey is guilty and with hope get his money back. The only problem is Jordan finds he has the hots for Xavier, but Xavier isn’t gay so Jordan knows he doesn’t have a prayer. However, working late into the night together has both men on edge -- the sexual tension between them may become to much for both of them to bare. Can they work it out are will this tension cause Xavier to lose everything he has worked so hard to build?
Xavier's Way is one of those books that keep you smiling and shaking your head through the whole thing wondering if Xavier will figure who and what he is. Who knows maybe Jordan is what he needs to save not only his business but also the person to take away the bitterness left by his ex-fiancée betrayal and cruel words.
When I finished Xavier's Way, I could hardly wait to tell all my friends that they needed to read it. This one will definitely remain in my library to be read again. A new and refreshing view on the M/M relationships – it had such a nice flowing plot that made it easy to relax and just enjoy the written word.
