When Laura’s sister disappears in Milan, the most dangerous part of the search may be falling for the man who wants to help her...

A weekend in Milan with her student sister, Charlie, should be a welcome break in Laura’s stressful life. When Charlie fails to meet her at the airport as arranged, Laura isn’t too concerned at first. After all, her sister has always been impulsive and forgetful where she is cautious and thoughtful. But when she goes to Charlie’s apartment, only for the landlady to tell her she hasn’t seen Charlie for several days, Laura begins to worry something sinister has happened.

With the aid of Gianmario de Rossi, Charlie’s personal tutor, begins to probe the mystery of Charlie’s disappearance. But how much does the handsome, intelligent Gianmario know about what’s really happened to Charlie, and by giving in to her impulse to have wild, passionate sex with him, is Laura being lured to a similar fate?

Laura arrives in Milan, Italy to visit her sister Charlie who’s a student. However, when she gets to the airport Charlie isn’t there to greet her and she’s also missing from her apartment. There Laura finds she’s been seeing a man named Paolo and meets with Charlie’s tutor, Gianmario.

Finding a story with an actual plot is sometimes hard in shorter erotic romances but that’s not the case with Missing in Milan. Immediately you get a sense that Charlie’s in trouble and that only one person can find her and that’s Laura.

I do enjoy first person stories and I think this POV added to the suspense of this one. I did wonder if Gianmario had something to do with Charlie disapperance which made me feel uneasy when Laura entered into a physical relationship with him. The sex scenes are sexy, the dialogue and pacing ideal for this short a read.

I would have preferred that the author turn this into a full length novel and maybe develop Laura and Gianmario’s relationship slower but other than that if you like suspense and enjoy a hot foreign locale, then I’d definitely recommend this story to you.
