Sheriff Katy Rose has been running from her unique gift for most of her life- but one man won’t let her run from him.
When Katy left the F.B.I. and returned to her small hometown as Sheriff she thought she left her work partner/ lover and his questions behind. But a serial killer has made a stop in her little town and the lead detective in the case is the only man she ever really loved.
Federal Agent Cameron Morris let Katy go once. He’d known she wasn’t ready to be introduced to his kind, especially as she was hiding things from him. He always planned to find her again when the time was right.
The thought of Katy in danger brings back all of his protective instincts and reminds him that Katy was meant to be his.
If the two of them can trust one another to reveal their deepest darkest secrets they just might be able to stop an evil man from killing again. If not, they might not see the next full moon.
Sheriff Katy Rose has a unique gift that she’s been trying to suppress. Cameron Morris is the only man she’s ever loved but he let her go. Now they’re back together to help put an end to the reign of a small town serial killer.
Having read so many erotic romances it’s always refreshing to find one with a meaty plot. This one scored twice on that count because it has a mystery and also a strong paranormal element to it, a combination that really upped my enjoyment of this story.
I loved both of these characters from the early pages. They were well rounded, seemed to be people I would actually know…even though they had special gifts. Their interaction and dialogue were also very believable.
The love scenes were sexy and not overdone and the pacing moved nicely too. I really liked the way they put aside their past to work together. While you’re reading this story you know these two characters are perfect for one another and you find yourself cheering them on until they discover that too. I also liked the idea that both had a ‘gift’ that made them even more perfect as soul mates.
If you’re looking for something hot and fun to read and you're a fan of either mysteries or paranormals, this is one I recommend to you.
