Cross Strickland, Ava Monroe and Knight McKay have been a tight threesome for almost a year. But now Ava is pulling away, and the men don’t know why. Faced with the fear of their trio becoming a duo, Knight and Cross know it will take a big leap to keep Ava in their lives.

Ava is feeling the distance but even she isn’t sure why. She’s preparing herself for the big letdown. Life couldn’t possibly always be as perfect as the past year has been.

But the guys break out every sexy, melodic trick they’ve got to show her they want to keep making sweet music—in and out of the bedroom.

When it seems their happy family is in danger of splitting up, Cross and Knight do what every woman wants in a relationship: they make an effort!

Their story began with Songbird. A love that none of the three expected burned white hot in the beginning but it’s been a year since Cross, Ava and Knight went from a duo to a trio. Are they still in one accord or has someone decided it’s time to go solo?

There is just something about this story that exudes tenderness and intimacy. It’s in the way Cross and Knight talk to one another, little touches, the way they pamper Ava and appreciate her sassy personality. There’s a line in the book where Knight is speaking to Ava and he says “You never have to work for our love”. That just made me all gooey and weak kneed. But it’s that type of writing that makes this short story such a great and worthwhile read.

As I mentioned earlier, this is novella is a follow up to the book Songbird. It makes more sense to have read Songbird first but because this story takes place a year after Songbird I don’t think it’s completely necessary. Ms. Reed gives adequate background story to get a good idea of how this trio came together and the growth they experienced as a result.

If you don’t have much time to read and want something sure to steam your e-reader, pick up KJ Reed’s Strike a Chord. It’s sweet, it’s sexy, and it’ll have you singing its praises! Pick up your copy today!

Who's hunting whom?

A man wakes up naked and alone in a city doorway -- with no memory of how he got there or who he is. For journalist Rose Winter, a wolf story begins to converge with the sexy naked man she's trying to help. And a chain of events is set in motion that may change Earth's future...

Human-wolf hybrids, created by a top secret government project, have been released into the world to find and destroy alien infiltrators. But once these soldiers begin to think for themselves, their missions are complicated by attraction, sex and divided loyalties.

When I came face to face with wolfs, aliens, and an android, I found myself on one wild ride into a world that included DNA tampering, government cover ups, and alien invasion. Wow! I walked into a high action conspiracy that left me spellbound and in love with the heroes and heroines from this book.

Wolf Hunt 1: Urban Wolf

Fishing for a story, Rose Winter soon finds one when she comes across a stark naked man with all “his tackle on show for anyone who cared to look.” Defending the Earth can go haywire if the government has their hand in it. Jon Mayhand, major of Earth Force, and Rose, (alien known as a Gardenian) soon find themselves in love, and stuck in the middle of interplanetary politics.

Both characters will win you over as you watch them fall in love and work together to understand what the government has done and how to stop them. The legend of how werewolves were created and their reason for being takes on a whole new aspect as you watch Ms. Treanor’s electrifying tale unfold.

Wolf Hunt 2: Forest Wolf

Aliens and werewolves have something in common, and that is government interference, and their overreaction to things they do not understand.

Linnet Lewis is in season and remembers nothing about her own identity; only that she is on the hunt for something her wolf does not like and wants to kill. When she comes face to face with Louis, an android who is more human than machine, she knows he is not a walking vibrator but she can’t help but want him.

As the story unfolded I fell hard for Louis and his magnetic personality. Like Linnet, it was not hard to over look that he was made up of wires and circuit boards. The laughter began when I read the sentence-- “Shit, I’ve been rejected by a robot” which made me feel bad for Linnet and her over stimulated hormones.

One of the biggest things I enjoyed after reading the second story in this book was that it was off the beaten path from the everyday werewolf story which made it unique. I like the unknown and unpredictable twist from the standard werewolf theory.

Holiday Howlz: Cry for the Moon

Cry for the Moon was a short interruption to the government cover up and alien invasion. As one of the military men used in the DNA tampering finds his way home to his wife Ruth on Christmas night; it made me form a stronger bond to all the characters I have met so far. Short it was, but it caused me to fall deeper in love with the storyline leaving me wanting more and wondering how it would all end.

Wolf Hunt 3: Galactic Wolf

Cereza, a senator of Gardenian has been sent to invade earth. She is captured by a Pirate who has no memories of life before waking up on a space ship two months prior. The only thing he knows is he hates Gardenians with a passion, until his path crosses with Cereza. After they spend time together, Yuri and Cereza has no desire to carry out their assigned mission. Can a Pirate and a Politician save Earth?

Truths are revealed, Earth wolves are freed, and alien invasion all comes to a head in the last story of the collection, Galactic Wolf. Each story could be read as a stand-alone and still be enjoyable. However, it was nice to have a book where they were all together as a group, and Wolf Hunt is now a wonderful addition to my growing eBook library.

I am looking forward to seeing what else Ms. Treanor has out and maybe picking up a few more of her stories.

She doesn’t know what she wants but he does.

How do you mend a broken heart?

Helen goes on holiday to Scarborough and meets Tom. He is an attractive local artist who takes Helen on a tour of the sweet seaside town. Tom becomes more than just her guide as his dominant nature brings out her own submissive side and a shared joy of exhibitionism.

“A sexual beast caged by propriety, rules and decency,” that is the sentence that describes a lot of today’s men and women, including Helen, the main character of the novel and myself. This was one of the things that immediately made me relate with her: Trapped in the boundaries of what is supposedly right and proper by society.

The fact that Helen was not a stick figure but a real woman with curves, breasts, hips and insecurities only made me like her more. Furthermore, Helen had a strong character; she was not a weak woman. It was a total turn on to read and discover how Helen usually in control loses it when she is around Tom. All these little traits made Helen real, a character with a voice of her own.

Just like Helen was fantastic, I have to admit that I did not like Tom much at first. He was way too charming and he gave of the vibe of a terrible womanizer, a libertine. One thing that definitely made me dislike him even more was that he didn’t seem to take “no” or “stop” for an answer, no matter how feeble it was. For a moment, I thought I had almost stumbled into a possible rape. Fortunately, I was very wrong about him and his intentions. I do wish, too, the characters had practiced safe sex (especially their recent introduction).

The facts are this: Sweet Surrender is definitely sweet and very hot. The sexual buildup is fantastic throughout the story and really leaves you hanging. I loved the author’s steamy descriptions -- I needed to turn on the fan while I read!

Surrendering to this short novel is definitely a must!

Liz Gillibrand wants a man she can submit to in the bedroom but still keep her sex life a secret from the conservative ranching community. When she discovers her neighbor owns Rawhide, a private bondage club, she might have found the answer. But the first Dom she meets is Alex Wright, a man she’s already connected with physically and emotionally. Once before she tried to merge her private life with the lifestyle but with disastrous results. Can Alex be the one to finally free her from the past and give her the life she longs for?

Desiree Holt has done it again!! She wrote another hot story with an amazing Dom. Ms. Holt stories make you want to grab the closest cowboy, run out to your nearest club and have a bit of fun! YEEHAW!!

Slapping Leather is great short story in the Cowboy Kink line, a collection of stories by various authors. Elizabeth is tired of working hard and being sexually frustrated. She is unsure how to have a fulfilling sex life in her small community. She’s been hurt before and she has no desire to be hurt again. Alex might just be the man to help fix her little problem. He is a man that knows what he wants and it is Elizabeth, in his bed.

Elizabeth “Liz” Gillibrand has spent the last year trying to prove to everyone in her community that she deserves Lucky L Ranch. Unknown to her, the owner willed the property to her a year ago and has been fighting to make a name for herself ever since. She is now known for her determination and work ethic. Liz has not had time or the desire to have a personal life. Her sexual preferences would be a bit too shocking for her rather conservative clientele. She has too much to lose and a past that she has no wish to relive. That is until the day Alex drove into her ranch. The only thing she can think of is “Oh my hot Texas lord”.

Alex Wright is all cowboy, from his loose-hipped gait to his thick as sorghum drawl. He is way too much temptation for Liz and she knows her limits. With a little help from her friends, she finds that she can venture into her old lifestyle at the club Rawhide. Unfortunately, Alex is also a member of Rawhide and he sees this as an opportunity to get close to Liz.

The chemistry between these two is instantaneous. Liz is very protective of her life and fears Alex will cause too many problems. It doesn’t take long for Alex to work his way into Liz’s heart. This is purely a love story. There are no villains within the story, only emotions to work through. I cheered for these two from the beginning all the way to the end.

Slapping Leather is wonderful story of how Liz is able to work through her past hurts and move on. Ms. Holt does not disappoint with steamy scenes and great story telling. She is consistently a favorite author of mine. From the first page to the last, nothing gets between me and my Desiree Holt books.

Ethan has been in love with Eve since he met her. He knows that she is their mate. Still, he feels drawn to her mind as much as her sexy, curvy body. Since she is the one who nursed him back to health after his attack, he thinks that her feelings spring from saving his life. But, for him, that is enough.

As Eve works side by side with Ethan, she finds a kindred spirit. He respects her mind and understands the way she thinks. It doesn’t hurt that he seems to know what she needs even before she does. She knows he thinks she doesn’t love him, and Eve decides to pull out all the stops to prove to the stubborn wolf she truly loves him.

But, someone is still bent on attacking the pack, and as the violence escalates, Eve and the Dillons find they have no one to trust but each other.

Ethan may be the smart, reserved member of the Dillon pack but Eve has no problem bringing him out of his shell or teaching him a thing or two about true love.

Author Kiera West brings us back into the exciting world of the paranormal by way of Passion, Alaska. When we last visited the once sleepy little town an unexplained evil had begun randomly attacking the wolves, shifter and pure blood alike, as well as the townsfolk that protected their long kept secret. During the attacks, Ethan had been seriously injured but was recovering with the help of his mate, Eve, a young scientist that was in Alaska to study the wolves.

Book three picks up with Ethan healed and ready to spend more time helping his kin discover who was out to start a war among the shifters. He also hopes to find some quality time to be with Eve but has convinced himself that they will never have the strong connection she has with his older brother and Alpha of the Dillon pack, Noah. Lucky for Ethan, Eve has no such preconceived notions. Ms. West gives a sneak peek into the future where the strength Eve shows in defending her mates will be put to the test. Before the final battle is fought, lives will be lost and it begins in Convincing Ethan.

Ms. West is a fairly new author but you wouldn’t know it by her writing. Writing a single story about one hero and heroine that flows smoothly and keeps the reader coming back for more is difficult. Beginning you writing career with a series where the heroine takes on not one but six men is amazing in my book! Each book in the series focuses on the relationship between Eve and one of the Dillon men. Ms. West does a terrific job of keeping the other men in the story involved while maintaining the integrity of each books premise.

If a romantic paranormal of fated mates and suspenseful villainy is what your craving, look no further than the Great Wolves of Passion, Alaska series. The passion burns hot even when the weather turns cold!

Former Vegas showgirl Dahlia Burke can’t get out of Texas fast enough. She’s winding her way through rural Wilder, Texas when she plows into Tanner and Scooter’s work truck. Dead broke and stranded, will Dahlia find more than one reason to stay--or two more reasons to leave?

Tanner Dawson barely escaped with his life when Dahlia plowed into his truck. And once he and his best friend, Scooter, take her under wing, he’s not sure if she’s planning to love him to death or finish him off.

Scooter Austin can’t tolerate gold diggers. When he finds out Dahlia is newly divorced from a man who has a revolving door of trophy wives, Scooter’s ready to send her out of Wilder with the toe of his boot.

How will these cowboys know if Dahlia has a heart of gold or just an eye for all that glitters?

Larry Gatlin was right on target when he sang “Everything that glitters is not gold”. It takes loving and nearly losing for Scooter Austin to be reminded of that simple life lesson.

When Dahlia Burke literally ran into Tanner Dawson she wasn’t expecting the incident to change her life. Her growth from a woman who’s had her self-confidence beaten to a pulp to one who has the strength to walk away from the men she loves is a heart melting journey right back to their HEA. Hold onto your hats because the sexy cowboys in Wilder, Texas are the real deal! Tanner and his best friend Scooter simply ooze all the best characteristics of yummy cowboy heroes.

If you’ve read Ms. Darlin before, this story is all that you would expect. She has a very talented writing voice for drawing the reader right into the story with vivid descriptions, smooth transitions, layered plots and best of all a wonderful romance. It isn’t hard to see why Dahlia is attracted to both Tanner and Scooter. They have charm, masculine beauty as well as a tangible sense of honor.

Speaking of tangible, there are only a couple of scenes in this novella where Dahlia and one the men make with the hot and heavy but WOW! If I had seen steam coming off my e-reader I wouldn’t have been a bit surprised. I’m convinced that Tanner is one of the more orally fixated characters that I’ve read in a while. He isn’t a bit conceited about his talent…he’s convinced and rightly so!

This may be considered a short story but it lacks in nothing except I want to visit Wilder, Texas more often and for longer stays. If you’ve read Ms. Darlin’s short story, Back for More, in the Tasty Treats Vol 2 book you’ll recognize a few familiar faces. It was nice to catch up with Alana, Rayne and Dirk and see that they are still just as firmly in love as when we last visited Wilder.

Have you got an hour or so to kill and a hankering for some juicy cowboy loving? If you answered yes, do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of Wendi Darlin’s All That Glitters. You’ll love the sassy spunk of Dahlia and be instantly won over by the men that fall in love with her. Their story has cemented Ms. Darlin as an automatic buy for this reviewer and I think you’ll find it was time well spent.

Kevin Marks escapes to the north woods to reignite his passion for photography and women. But the only flame he seems able to spark is for his latest photography subject, Teak Hildalgo, and Kevin's never been in a man's arms before.

Teak, the raven-haired, photographer's dream come true, is hell bent on capturing Kevin's heart. He takes Kevin, body and soul, on a romantic, sexual journey previously lived only in Kevin's fantasies. And no dream was ever this good, no truth this undeniable.

Will Kevin ever be the same? When the camera's put away, will Teak live up to his name?

This book jumps into a man’s life at the moment he realizes that his energy and enthusiasm for his current lifestyle is gone – his passion, his focus, his sense of self-satisfaction is in a confused state of stagnation. What’s a man to do when he has no idea what’s wrong to even begin to fix it? And is he strong enough to make a stand for his own happiness?

Kevin is the main hero who has to find out these answers out for himself. Professionally, he’s reached a successful plateau that has garnered him recognition, accolades and some measure of fame. But it means nothing. He has a delightful girl friend that is so sweet on him and patient, but he’s found it’s not enough. Kevin left to go to a place that, as a child growing up, he felt accepted and comforted. There he discovers so much more. This story is about how he handles his emotions and feelings as he learns who he really is and what will truly make him happy, and if he’ll find the courage to make his life complete. Those kinds of major changes don’t come without cost and the author explored their various levels to a welcome degree.

Teak, the second hero and the reason for the title, is a man who long ago accepted his lifestyle and orientation. He is a hard working man who goes after what he wants. It’s how he ended up in the town of Westcott. He catches Kevin’s assessing gaze and the hook is set. I liked that Teak understood and respected where Kevin was coming from. He didn’t push, dominate or embarrass the other hero at all. He acted normal and friendly and accepting. Teak knew the score, recognized the signals and seduced Kevin just by being his ordinary handsome self – with a few teases thrown in to whet the appetite.

It’s a slow/fast build-up. By that I mean, Kevin jumps in but backs off, like a puppy – wants to play but is a bit wary. He advances a bit and then hides emotionally – but not for long. Kevin is old enough of a character to know his own mind and he did a quick analyzing of his feelings. What he found brought joy to his heart but a lot of confusion too. That didn’t stop him from wanting to explore this new kind of relationship and I found it heartening that there was a hint of trust already building between the two heroes. There had to have been for what happens later in the book.

When they finally connect, emotionally and physically, the scenes are explosive. Even the little kissing skirmishes peppering the beginning of their relationship are hot. Ms. Church has a vibrant imagination and she shares the joy of exploring man on man loving enough times that erotic romance readers will find many opportunities for satisfaction.

What made this entertaining and interesting book better for me was the conflict. I could really sink my teeth into the seething rage, twisted vengeance and spiteful actions of one of the secondary characters. That was incredibly well written and I enjoyed how the author had Kevin handling it. He had class, brains and no nonsense attitude that really impressed me. He was as smooth as James Bond with just as much firmness and discipline in his actions. Another thing the conflict did was solidify Kevin’s acceptance of himself and his relationship with Teak. It was wonderful and thoroughly engaging.

The editing was good, dialogue well paced and clear to each character, and the development of Kevin and Teak’s relationship solidly built.

Hard as Teak is a story about taking chances on your dreams, of not settling for less but going for the brass ring and finding a joy beyond your wildest imagination. This story is as sizzling and scorching in the sheet department as an erotic romance reader could possibly wish. The sultry touches, the heat-filled eyes glazed in passion and the possessive and passionate hold each hero has for the other comes through with crystal clarity. The best part is Kevin finding happiness and a happily ever after he never thought he’d have. Teak is a good contrast to Kevin’s personality and Ms. Church made me believe their relationship is not only going to work but will be around for the long haul. Hard as Teak satisfied the romantic in me and I’m glad I read it.

Werewolves believe in soul mates. Sirens eat theirs.

Sirens, a mutation of mermaids, need sexual energy to survive. Marie Laframboise lost her only food source when her strip club burned down. Not wanting to kill any of her victims, she’d learned to glean the lust off her clients, and now she is starving. She can’t resist the temptation to invite herself to the singles shifter party held by local werewolf stud, Maxwell Cox, and feed.

Max doesn’t want a soul mate, but to his dismay, she shows up at his party. Just as Marie can’t resist the temptation to feed, Max can’t resist the instinctual urge to claim her. Marie has never wanted a relationship, but she can’t shake off Max’s pursuit. He offers her things she has only dreamed of, but she fears the hunger will turn those dreams into nightmares.

Her appetite is not one to mess with. Max thinks he’s found the perfect mate, but Marie may have found the perfect prey.

Marie Laframboise is a mermaid, but definitely not the Disney kind. As a siren, she needs sexual energy to survive. Shunned by her people for being a predator, her food source these days consists of land dwellers. The ocean, once her home, is now mostly used for her viewing enjoyment while Marie grows weary of living a lonely existence. The price of a relationship, even one based on sex, is too high so instead she becomes a voyeur to the desire and arousal of others to feed the hunger that rules her.

Maxwell Cox, infamous party playboy and horny werewolf, began fighting a losing battle the moment he saw Marie. His inner turmoil stems from the pull he feels for her as a soul mate and rejection of the idea of being tied to one person for the rest of his life. Now his insatiable desires work against him and his instinctive urges to claim her take control as he works to convince his hardheaded would-be mate that they belong together.

I loved how confident and sexually aware these two characters are. They know what they want from each other on a surface level, but anything deeper and their immediate urge is to resist. They both yearn for something more out of life and when they find it that's where the real battle of the sexes, wills, and species begins. Truly my only complaint is that the story went too fast and I would've loved to see more development on both the relationship and world building aspects, but everything else was pure enjoyment.

Readers will come for the visually sizzling cover, but stay for the intriguing storyline and erotic union of a werewolf and his siren.

Dax Coleman has it all—money in the bank, a job he loves, and an address book filled with the names of women who only want a good time. He’s never had a problem charming a woman into his bed. He meets his match when Kelcey Ewing comes to Lanville. A former roommate of his brothers’ girlfriends, Kelcey is as serious as Dax is carefree. He considers it his personal goal to loosen up Kelcey so she has fun, preferably in his bed.

An unforgettable incident in her life has left Kelcey wary and unable to have a normal relationship with a man. She decides she’s destined to be alone, until Dax’s lovemaking wakes up her senses.

Kelcey’s unwilling to risk a broken heart with a man she considers walking sin. It’s up to Dax to prove to Kelcey his love for her is real and will last the rest of his life.

Is it possible for Dax to remove the pain and trauma that sweet, sexy, innocent Kelsey carries with her from a wrecked childhood? Can he remove the mental block of terror and fear that prevents her from finding love and pleasure with a man, or will it add up to one more agonizing failure, proving to Kelsey that she will spend her life alone?

Kelsey Ewing is turned on by the gorgeous, hot Coleman brother, one of three triplets who own a construction company in their small home town of Lanville. She is there on an extended stay to help her two best friends with their bread and breakfast and restaurant ventures. Those women are girlfriends of the other two Coleman triplets. The men are working on the bed and breakfast and will soon be building the restaurant.

Dax is a sexy, charming playboy who enjoys his bachelor lifestyle and sees no reason to ever change it. He isn't prepared for the level of intense attraction that he feels when he meets Kelsey. When they are drawn together by a simmering sexual heat, it seems that all is going scorchingly well, especially the kisses and touching from Dax. That is, until he moves his body over hers on the bed where they lay. Kelsey immediately goes into a terrified hysteria, screaming for him to 'get off of her', and running to the corner of the room, where she hides in a sobbing crouch.

I loved this story. It is an emotional journey from dark, deep psychic injury into trust and love for the main characters. Gently and generously nurturing each other, both Dax and Kelsey grow and emerge to become strong, giving people newly aware of life-changing truths about themselves. Those truths set them free to love and be loved.

This book gripped my emotions and moved me to tears several times. It is a beautiful, sensitively told story blossoming with charismatic, endearing characters that takes the reader to a higher level of personal inspiration. I've said before that Ms. LaFleur knows how to subtly inform her readers of the ways to experience what is true and of worth in life. That is ever more true in this sensitive, suspenseful and absorbing romance.

I was captivated by Kelsey's courage and her development of strength and security. Dax's open-hearted, creative and sexy nature is irresistible. His gentle patience is heart melting. Ms. LaFleur creates heroes who truly know how to love women or are sincerely willing to learn! I love that the main plot is about the relationships, themselves; however there is an edgy subplot that builds throughout the story and adds to its complexity, ending in a surprising twist.

I love Ms. LaFleur's refreshing dialog and her articulate erotic descriptions. This was one of the hottest of sensual, naturally emerging love affairs I've had the joy to read. The chemistry between Kelsey and Dax comes together to create a kind of unusual, captivating sexual dynamic that is magnetic to the reader.

I have nothing but good things to say about, Walking Sin, and recommend it to everyone. It is the third in the series, Men With Tools. I've enjoyed this series very much and know you will, too. All I have to say is, '...please, Ms. LaFleur, more Men With Tools!' It's a winner!

Celestial Soul-Mates, Book 2

Eva’s anticipation of a free Bona Vista Resort getaway is as sweet as the welcome mixer cocktail in her hand. When she steps aboard a VIP elevator, though, she ends up a whole lot farther away than expected. An alien spaceship, loaded with twosomes, threesomes—and more—having lusty sex at the drop of a zipper.

Worse, they’re trying to sell her on the idea that the mouthwateringly hot first officer is her soul-mate. While Commander Larson Raa-ling makes her knees weak, she’s not buying. In her experience, men want only one thing from women, and it’s not everlasting love.

Larson easily senses his soul-mate’s desire for him, but it’s trapped inside her lovely body like a caged bird. Only patience will win her trust. Every time his touch draws her one step forward, though, she withdraws two steps back.

Eva tries desperately to remember her vow to never again surrender control. But as Larson chips away at her defenses one sensual pebble at a time, her resistance is crumbling by the second…

Eva thinks she’s won a much needed vacation, what she’s actually found is her soul-mate who just happens to be an alien.

The Commander’s Woman is Ms. Carew’s second entry into her Celestial Soul-Mates series. She does a good job introducing the premise to those who, like me, didn’t read the first book. In the beginning we meet the five women who will likely each have a story about them.

Eva is looking forward to a much needed vacation from work and the stress of divorcing her lousy jerk of an ex-husband. Eva’s in a rebuilding phase and isn’t looking for a man to fill any gaps in her life. Not surprisingly, when Eva meets her soul-mate she has trust issues. She wasn’t looking for any man, and her inner fight between lust and trust is pitch-perfect. I did question the circumstances that made her suddenly decide she loved her soul-mate.

Commander Larson Raa-ling is a loving, patient, and mouth-watering hunk of a man. He understands his mate’s issues and tries to help her through them. He uses sexually creative means to gain her trust; including letting Eva have her way with him. I didn’t get to know Larson as well as Eva, but I did think he was a little too good to be true. For all of Eva’s doubts and mixed messages, he only had one angry moment. I wanted the Commander to be a little more commanding to help Eva get through her issues.

The sex between Eva and Larson is wickedly hot. Restraints and toys are used, but this is not a BDSM book. With Eva’s permission he has sex with another woman that turns into a mouth-watering ménage. Larson also has an adjustable penis that made for interesting sex scenes, and made intercourse super-hot, while the oral sex made me laugh.

Watching Larson’s loving patience with Eva’s inner journey from lust to trust is touching. For a quick, hot and stimulating read The Commander’s Woman is sure to please.

His lust burns hot the moment he sees her and claiming her as his own seems to be the most logical thing to do. Once she stops freaking out, of course.

“Since I’m the one who found you, it’s only fair that I claim you as mine. Finders, keepers.”

The only thing is the man who wants to claim Jennifer White is a big bad lion shifter. So does a lion get to keep what he finds? In most cases I would say: you bet. Personally I would not disagree with Cyeon, the alpha leader of the lion pride of the Serengeti.

I am not usually a big fan of short stories but after seeing book two of this series and wanting it I had to pick up book one Jennifer’s Lion to read as well. I’m one of those people who hate to read a series out of order. The cover was nice and the excerpt was good so I didn’t pay much attention to the word count which was a good thing or I would have passed over it, and missed out on a thoroughly entertaining story.

What surprised me was that, for such a short story it was full of details and action that kept me from feeling as though I was missing something or had been dropped into the middle of the book. The plot was full of action and fun that kept me entertained until the end.

The only thing I disliked about the book was that it was way too short -- I didn’t want it to end. I wanted more. Ms. Lee is one author that I will be keeping an eye out for. I hope she'll start writing longer stories in the same series because I found Jennifer's Lion yummy and would love to read more!
