Leanne Galloway has no time for dating; her focus is on launching her academic career. Dragged along to her childhood frenemy Gillian's bachelorette party at a male strip club, she just wants to get through the evening—but she can't help interfering when Gillian sends a note to a sexy dancer proposing a hot hookup.

Brandon Myles is working backstage at the Foxe's Den to fund his post-graduate studies in dance, but he's forced onstage when the headliner fails to show up. He feels a surprisingly strong connection with a quiet woman watching from a table full of tipsy bridesmaids, and he's delighted when she appears backstage after his set.

After a scorching spontaneous encounter, Leanne and Brandon agree to go their separate ways. But they're both grad students on a small campus, and avoiding each other and denying their attraction won't work for long, especially when a jealous rival appears, determined to ruin both their academic careers.

I’m in love. It’s as simple as that. What’s his name? Brandon. I just can’t stop thinking about him, he’s absolutely gorgeous. Not only does he have a great physique but he’s caring, sweet, tender, confident but not stuck up and thoughtful. Sigh. He’s almost perfect. He has a few flaws, of course. He’s scared of relationships and thinks his heart is made of stone. His other flaw? He’s in love with someone else, the main character of Learning Curves, Leanne.

Learning Curves was an amazing read. I swept through the 176 pages in a morning. I fell in love with Brandon from the start but I was drawn into Leanne’s world. I felt so identified with her. She’s a 20th century girl who is so engrossed in fighting for a career and a good job that she doesn’t have time for anything else. The best thing about Leanne was that she was extremely human. Real. She had doubts, fears, anxieties like the next person, but she also had a sense of humor, friends, and a life without Brandon.

The only bad thing I can say about Learning Curves was that I spotted a few editing mistakes, like small words that were out of place, but that was all. The characters are engaging, the plot is realistic, the descriptions are mesmerizing, the chemistry and sex between Leanne and Brandon was incredibly hot… it’s all fantastic.

Personally, I’ll be looking for more books by Ms. Mady.

Book four in the Gladiators Series

To follow in his father’s footsteps, Gold’s son will need to defeat Ariston in the arena to become champion...but Ariston might be the love of his life.

Nicolaus has lived in the shadow of his father all his life, a father who was the greatest gladiator of them all. His desire is to prove himself in the arena, even though it is against his father’s wishes. He also has other desires, forbidden desires for his father’s lover, and a love/hate relationship with the slave he must defeat if he is to reign victorious as a gladiator in the arena.

Ariston falls in love with Nicolaus the moment he sets eyes on him. A slave all his life, he has never known freedom but he is the unbeatable champion. The fact that Nicolaus can’t decide whether to bed him or kill him greatly complicates his life when he becomes the newest addition to Gold’s ludi.

The Next Generation is the fourth in D.J. Manly’s gripping series. This book has an overabundance of action and sex. If Manly’s well-written, highly descriptive writing style doesn’t have readers jumping into this book, the energetic gladiator battles and sexual encounters on every other page will definitely spark an interest that keeps the pages turning.

Nicolaus is a young man who feels he needs to step out of his father’s shadow and become and even better gladiator than his father once was. The story and conflict between father and son is a common theme but what makes Nicolaus’s situation different is his father treats him with nothing but love and affection. His father’s only wish is to keep his son alive. Nicolaus, like most youths, only see’s pride and glory in fighting and becoming the champion of the gladiator arena. But along the way to seeking his glory, love rears its nasty head and throws Nicolaus for a loop.

Ariston is a gladiator but not by choice. His strength and strong will have given him the edge over all his competitors. He is the champion every fighter wants to beat. Ariston was born into slavery and became a gladiator out of self-preservation. I really liked this character, after all his hardship and cruelty he had experienced throughout his life, he still retains basic human emotions. Ariston is not a fighting robot; he has hopes and dreams of becoming a free man and finding a love of his own.

Nicolaus and Ariston’s love affair takes them both by surprise at first. Ariston is more accepting of this pairing but Nicolaus’s need to prove he is the best gladiator wears on this budding relationship. Love is work and sometimes sacrifices have to be made and the author did a wonderful job of getting that across in this story. This love story is taken step by step of the highs and lows a couple goes through no matter what time period they live in.

There quite a few conflicts amongst this story. First off there is Nicolaus’s relentlessness to become a gladiator, Nicolaus attraction to his father’s lover, the poisoning of Ariston, and the love story between Nicolaus and Ariston. This book lacks nothing in the entertainment department. There are so many things going on in this story as the reader I never got bored.

This author’s capability to write so smoothly and flow with the detail descriptions gave me the ability to feel like I was watching this story unfold like a movie in my mind. From the gladiator fighting and countless sex scenes nothing was left up to the imagination. The high quality in the descriptive details really made this story a winner for me.

I have not read the previous books in this series but I was able to follow along without an issue. After reading The Next Generation I will definitely have to go back and read the priors. This was an A plus read that I think all D.J. Manly fans will enjoy.

Three teenage kids stuck in the suburbs of New Jersey in the ‘70s combined to become a punk band. Instead of it being a summer diversion, they suddenly become famous. Stu, Jimi, and Jane discover drugs, rock-n-roll, and sex--with each other. But the combination of gossip, fame, and drugs is more than a new threesome can handle.

Years later, Stu is in trouble and the three come together to support him. They rediscover each other and their need for each other, but the damage they inflicted on each other may already be too much to overcome. Can their circle of three be more than sex, drugs, and rock-n-roll?

Sex, Drugs and good ‘ole Rock’n Roll. For these three young suburbanites, this is the ride of a lifetime. The 70’s were a time where you jumped in feet first without asking questions and just didn’t care about the consequences. If you want a look behind the scenes of an up and coming rock band than this is the book for you.

I didn’t really know what to expect from this book. At times it lulled a bit but those lulling points lead to a better understanding of the group of characters on a whole. These three characters, Jim, Jane and Stu couldn’t have been more ill matched for each other but they were exactly what each other needed. Without Stu, Jim wouldn’t have probably gotten out of the situation at home and met Jane. And without Jane, Jim wouldn’t have been able to open up about his sexuality. The idea that they made great music together during this time only added to the mix that eventually led to a crash and burn for them all.

Stu was the leader of this little gang, and from the beginning knew that he was never like the other two but they were the best things that ever happened to him. He was the “dark angel” or “devil” tempting these two kids from the right side of the tracks. But he was also the engine that lead to the place where they could be exactly who they needed and uncover everything about themselves. The essential bad boy, he was the key that opened the lock door inside both Jim and Jane.

Jane, was the quiet reserved one that fed off the power she got on stage. She was the missing piece that brought Jim and Stu together making a sort of family when none of them had that on their own. She was also the level- headed one that made sure to think all things through before jumping. But she was also hiding a part of herself from both these men, something that only could be reveled with the two of them together.

Jim, in the end, was the glue that held them all together. He was the one they both loved and wanted to be with. He was also the most damaged and in his eyes the most unworthy of anything. Even thought he was the glue that kept this team together it was probably longer than they could stand. In the end it imploded the relationship between them all.

This was a memoir of sorts, as all three of them remembered it, and how their lives all became intertwined and the effects that life, relationships, sex and rock n roll had on all of them. A great story all around with enough meat to it that it was very hard to put the book down at the last page.

Stephanie Harper is perfectly happy co-owning Books and Brew, where she slings drinks and entertains her friends with cutting wit and a cynical take on love. She’s convinced she has no time for anything deeper than sex; she has a business to run, after all. And her thrice-married mother has proven happy ever after doesn’t exist.

Jarod Nolan begs to differ. Chance has him running into Steph—and giving her a ticket—one morning, but it’s fate that finds him in her place of business that same evening. A sizzling one-night stand ensues, and although Stephanie escapes before he wakes the next morning, Jarod is already sure she’s worth the chase.

Steph’s more than willing to party naked with the hot cop, but she’s adamant they’re driven by lust, not love. Jarod is prepared to prove otherwise, even if it means giving up one of the things he and Stephanie do best…

What’s that old saying? Abstinence makes the heart grow fonder?

Strong minded Heroines and devastatingly sexy Heroes always make for a great story. Add in a great plot line and sexual chemistry and you have Party Naked. This book will keep you page turning wanting more. So if you like to read about a HEA with a real story attached, something that you could see happening in to you in real life, than this is a story to check out.

Coming from a recent break-up leaves Jarod, our main male character, less than open minded to the idea of meeting someone new, until he sets his sights on Stephanie and her double parked VW Bug. Not only is Jarod a recently promoted police detective but he is also blocked in by her car and not the happiest camper about it. Stephanie is having a crappy few hours... well more like entire day. From the moment she opened her eyes that more until running into Jarod it has been one negative after another, making her want a ground hog day redo. Their meeting is fate, or so it would seem, but off to a bumpy start does not a great relationship make.

After their initial meeting, Jarod stumbles upon Stephanie again and can’t seem to keep his hands off her, realizing that she is someone that he needs to have and that she may be the answer to all his unasked questions. As the relationship develops, sexual tension builds, secrets are told, and feelings are realized. Fate was definitely on the side of these two that day Stephanie happened to double park in front of this grumpy cop.

Party Naked is a story for those looking to read a believable tale of two strangers finding how much they have in common when on the surface they couldn’t be more different. Mari Carr finds a way to keep a reader wanting more while still making the story believable and enjoyable for anyone. For a great read with a wonderful plot line this is a book to put at the top of your TBR pile and an author to add to your keep pile for sure.

Love is a battlefield.

Discharged under Don’t Ask Don’t Tell, former Marine major Cole Hammond is struggling to find a new identity. But PTSD casts a pall on everything, and his hard-nosed, homophobic father can’t even bear to look him in the eye. To top it all off, he’s pretty sure he’s flunking out of law school.

Marc Sullivan is a kind, sensitive romance author-slash-waiter with a thing for men in uniform. Cole’s not wearing his anymore, but there’s no mistaking the warrior Marc meets in the diner one rainy afternoon. Cole’s sexy smile and Carolina drawl prove irresistible, but Marc’s played this game before, and he always loses. Once a Marine, always a Marine, and if there’s one thing Marc knows about such men, it’s that they all leave him in the end. It doesn’t help that Cole’s practically closeted in public, or that he refuses to seek treatment for his PTSD.

But like any good Marine, Cole’s willing to fight for what matters. And like the characters in Marc’s stories, he’s certain that if they try just hard enough, together they can find their own happily ever after.

We read so many stories about lonely soldiers, wars, battles, and finding love in the middle of the chaos. But we don’t read about what happens to them when they come home unexpectedly, against their will. Do they find their happily ever after? This story is about a soldier, the writer who falls in love with him and the everyday real life they need to deal with that could essentially tear them apart.

Cole Drummond is a Marine; it is all he ever wanted to be. Now he is a discharged Marine under the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell law. So where does he go from there? Back home in California and in law school. Meeting someone is not in his plans.

Marc Sullivan is just trying to pay his bills while he waits for his big break as a romance writer, and then one day a tall blond sexy man walks into the diner he is working in and it is love at first sight. At least for Marc.

But Marc has felt the bitter pain of being used and dumped by men in uniform and his discovery of Cole’s former occupation leaves him leery. Still, he's a romantic, a man who always looks for the positive and refuses to let life pass him by. But a quick, cold, sexual evening with his new customer leaves him even more disillusioned.

Cole’s guilt and curiosity brings him back to Marc. But, what could be a new beginning for them both is threatened by his years of hiding his sexuality.

Marc is everything that Cole needs and doesn’t know it. He is the great guy, the one you want in your corner when things get tough and the soft place to land at the end of a rough day.

Cole is the soldier and the loyal protector who will do what needs to be done whether he likes it or not. He takes his responsibilities seriously. Together they are a magical pair with great chemistry and even though they don't have such a great understanding of each other, they are willing to learn.

Cat Grant's talent makes their conversations fun, their sex intense and their love unwavering. Cole and Marc are the Romeo and Juliet of their time; such great love with so many outside forces, so much responsibility threatening to tear them apart. They made me cheer for them, cry for them and love every page of their story. Cat Grant has taken a tragic situation and turned it into a romantic love story. You don’t need to love military stories to love this because underneath it all…it is a truly classic love story!

The world fell apart after the virus killed billions, turning most male survivors into violent monsters out to destroy the world and everything in it. Shit, I've got the nightmares to prove it.

Then I met Mace and he changed everything I thought I knew. He's not a monster, but a wolfman, a hybrid created by the werewolf virus. Mace's pack have come a long way toward blending what's left of their humanity with their wolf instincts. Personally, I'm not too thrilled with this whole dominance/submission thing but that doesn't make them monsters.

Unfortunately, not all of them are like Mace. We call the others rabids. Wild and crazy dangerous, most run when they get their asses kicked. We tripped over the one group that won't run -- and now the real monsters are pissed.

This series just keeps getting better with each book. In this most recent installment in Mace and Daniel’s life we get to see more of what makes them tick. Another threat has come about and Mace must not only keep his pack safe but others as well. Can Daniel and Mace’s relationship survive through all the chaos and the new stress that threatens their love?

I was nicely surprised with the depth of Daniel’s emotions and traumas in this book. Even before the virus hit the world Daniel had a hard life. Dealing with the chaos and all the threats has not helped Daniel and when things come to a head I enjoyed seeing the faith and trust that he has in Mace.

I love Mace and he shows me just why once again in this book. He is a true alpha who cares for all those in his pack and many outside it who need his help. His love for Daniel is so strong it is almost a palpable thing. Mace is ready to do whatever it takes to give Daniel what he needs and just loved what he does in the end for Daniel. Proving how much he loves and needs Daniel. With all the threats coming at Mace and the pack it is surprising he has time for Daniel but time he has even if he has to make it. Showing that there is so much more to their relationship than just lust.

It was nice to see more of the inner workings of the pack as well. We not only get to see the development of Mace and Daniel’s relationship but also many more secondary characters and their emotions. I enjoyed seeing how each of them inter act with each other and how. Adding in others from different packs was also a nice read. This author has done a wonderful job of bringing this world to life and keeping me wanting more. I hope that we get to see more from these characters in the future.

Are they ready to gamble on a 1Night Stand?

Mia hides behind her computer, designing popular computer games. And though she knows just what to do to keep men coming back for more on the other end of the modem, she doesn’t seem to have the same knack in person.

Gavin hides behind numbers. Since his wife left him, the only thing he cares about is his son and his job. One failed relationship was enough, but if the right curvaceous woman came into the picture he just might manipulate the numbers a bit.

Can two meddling sisters enlist Madame Eve to bring Mia and Gavin together and show them two is always better than one?

Mia creates computer games and her sister has signed her up at Madame Eve’s 1 Night Stand service. She’s matched with Gavin who is at the same computer game convention as Mia.

This is the second 1 Night Stand story I’ve read and this one was just as entertaining as the first. I especially liked the nice set up in such a short space. The author did a good job with quickly introducing us to the characters, what they did and some of their background. They came across as fun and a perfect match for one another.

I liked the idea that Mia had a different, almost geeky career, to most heroines in other books, and that she wasn’t model perfect in looks either. Both things made her seem more real on the page. Gavin is well portrayed as a nice guy and you feel yourself urging him on to see Mia again.

The sex is hot and well placed throughout this short story. If you’re looking for more books in this series or if it’s your first time sampling it, I’d say give this one a read.

Claire Jones never dreamed the fantasies she'd been having about the young guy next door would ever become reality, but after a push from her best friend and one encounter involving dirty laundry, she's getting more reality than one woman should be allowed. But with reality comes emotion, and Claire finds herself falling deeper and deeper under Ryan's spell.

Ryan Doherty wants in Claire's pants, but he soon discovers hot sex isn't all he's after. She makes him happy in a way nothing and no one else ever has, and if he has to use their amazing chemistry to stay in her life, he will. Because having more of Claire isn't an option. It's the only choice.

Can Ryan and Claire bridge the age gap to find the love of a lifetime, or will what others think destroy the best thing either of them has ever found?

All of You is a very hot older woman, younger man story. There are lots of these out there, but this one stands out for me because of the skill with which Ms. Cahill has crafted her characters.

Claire Jones is really beginning to regret confiding in her best friend Jane. They have been friends for almost forty years, but she can’t believe her ears when Jane tells Claire to give her fantasies a chance. Those fantasies all involve her very hot and sexy neighbor, Ryan. The very much younger Ryan. So what if her pulse speeds up at the thought of indulging in a hot night of passion with him, she is old enough to be his mother.

Then Ryan gives off vibes that he is interested, and Claire decides a fling might just work. They can both ‘scratch the itch’ and move on with their lives. Ryan wants Claire, but he is in it for the long haul, if he can just convince Claire to give them a chance at more than a fling. But first, Ryan has to break through Claire’s reserve about the difference in their ages. Can Ryan convince Claire that age is just a number? Can Claire let go and accept what Ryan is offering? Can they find a middle ground that can provide the happy ever after they both want?

These are people you like and want to see happy, and I enjoyed watching as these two learned about each other, what they like and don’t like. I liked that there was more to these two than just sex; they set out to become better acquainted along with the bedroom action.

Claire Jones is a strong and independent woman, a professional with a successful career. I liked her attitude, and her hesitance to jump in with both feet where she wasn’t comfortable. I also liked that, once she made up her mind, she didn’t become weak and dependent on Ryan for things. She is a wonderful character, well rounded and interesting on several levels.

Ryan Doherty is virile, handsome, and the hottest thing Claire has ever seen. He is a successful contractor, in business with his older brother. He wants to break through the wall his sexy neighbor has erected, but isn’t sure how to take the first step. Ryan is ready for more than just a fling, and I enjoyed watching as he tried every trick he could think of to convince Claire their relationship could be more. I love Ryan’s dogged determination to get exactly what he wants, but also not pressure Claire outright.

This is definitely a sexy romance, with plenty of very hot action in places I didn’t see coming. There is a picnic in the park that raises the temperature quite nicely, without completely embarrassing either party. There is a scene that nearly destroys everything Ryan has worked toward, and I loved how he was able to do what it took to finally convince Claire that what they have is important and can work. This is a story for those who really like happy endings, and overcoming obstacles. But be warned, there is a need for ice and tissues, so keep both on hand.

Tariq needs a break from his Bollywood career, while Kiera is bored by her humdrum life and dead end romance. Can they find their escape in each other?

A brief but powerful encounter with a beautiful stranger provides a rare moment of unadulterated pleasure for Tariq Salman, Bollywood superstar. He returns to Mumbai but can't forget the spirited young woman in her little silver car who saved him from a horde of screaming fans in the heart of London.

Doggie fashion designer Kiera Hamilton is swept off her feet by the stunningly handsome actor who crashes into her life, and has no way of knowing that their meeting will eventually turn her life upside down. She declines his dinner invitation and drives away before she forgets her common sense—and the fact she has a boyfriend waiting at home.

They meet again a year later on an idyllic beach in Goa, when Tariq takes a break from the career that no longer satisfies him and a newly single Kiera is Chief Bridesmaid at her sister's wedding. This time, there is nothing to stop them from exploring the insane chemistry between them, and the moment they touch each other, their feelings intensify.

But Kiera's ex-boyfriend has other ideas and turns up uninvited to attend the nuptials, and she finds herself in a terrifying battle to escape him and get back to the man with whom she is falling in love. But her past isn't the only obstacle coming between them, and Tariq and Kiera struggle to find the common ground in their cultures, their lives and their willingness to trust each other.

This hot, sweet love story elegantly tells the tale of two very different people who find that they have a soul connection and a wildly hot attraction in common. Tariq and Kiera find themselves ending boring and unsatisfactory relationships and beginning anew. The magnetic connection between them spans two countries and cultures and many months. The two keep losing each other in this time and space until they finally overcome their individual obstacles and learn to hold on to each other and never let go.

Tariq Salman is a Indian Hindi movie star: dark, sexy, hot and beloved by his fans, and Kiera, white-blond hair and green eyes, is a freelance designer living in London and struggling in her career. He has just left a superficial, numbingly boring relationship an is immersed in his successful, exciting career. She is finding her way to the end of a nowhere affair with a domineering, drunk boyfriend who will not let go. The two stumble into each other one day in London and are stunned by the instant, electric heat between them. When they eventually find their way free to each other, the sex is incredible and memorable and their feelings are immediately strong.

I love the way this story demonstrates the value of a rare and special emotional connection and the responsibility to cherish, nurture and protect it. The various problems the couple overcome to claim this treasure illustrate it's worth. These two characters really earn the love they have for each other. One problem that they face is an attack on Kiera by her drunken, dangerously abusive ex-boyfriend. After saving her from this bully, Tariq realizes how deep his feelings for her are. But their challenges are not over for many months.

I won't give away the details, but the problems they resolve are worth the wait. This is a story of the beauty, power and patience of love and of the extreme attraction between opposites of race, culture, status and personality. It is a story of personal growth and of hope.

I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this entertaining tale. It was fun, erotically hot and powerful, and so very well-written in every way. I didn't find a single editing error or mis-step in the creative execution, which is rare and refreshing. The heroine is a strong and interesting character that I liked very much. It was encouraging to see her evolve and grow throughout the course of the story. The hero was exciting, charming, sensitive and a gorgeous hunk... what's not to love?

I recommed you get your own copy of Luxie Ryder's, Blame it on Bollywood. You will be glad you did.

Reformed bad girl Nikki Carson has spent the past year trying to forget her boss's Halloween party and the unbelievable sex she had with her boss's hot twin, Patrick Nolan. Patrick hasn't mentioned that night since, much to Nikki's endless disappointment.

Years of following in the wake of his womanizing brother cause Patrick to wonder if Nikki even knows which twin she slept with. He can't believe she could possibly prefer him over her slick, polished boss. That doesn't mean he's been able to stop fantasizing about taking her again. Against the wall. On the floor. Everywhere.

It's Halloween again, and trick or treat takes on a whole new meaning when Nikki and Patrick go for round two. Especially since Nikki's come prepared with a Domme kitty costume meant to drive Patrick wild. And this kitty's ready to show her claws if she doesn't get what she wants...

Being in lust with the boss’s brother is hard but Nikki Carson is bound and determined to get a piece of Patrick Nolan again. Patrick often feels over shadowed by Easton’s slick style but when his twin brother’s secretary drags him off for a quickie at the annual Halloween party, he can’t believe his good luck.

Doubt creeps into Patrick’s mind when he realizes Nikki might be interested in his brother instead. A year of lonely nights has passed and this Halloween, he plans to set the record straight and give her a night to remember and start off many more together.

Nikki and Patrick sizzle in this Halloween novella. Nikki is a spunky bad kitty (reference to her Halloween costume) and Patrick is one heck of a hot hero and together, their chemistry is hot enough to burn the pages. The writing is snappy and clever while the dialogue remained natural and fun. And of course the sex was hot.

Bad Kitty is a sexy, fun read. Did I mention the sex was hot? Ms. Quinn has crafted a delicious tale of a Halloween party gone right for the both of her characters. This author is an autobuy for me as her books always deliver in every way. If you like dress-up with a twist of light makeshift BDSM play and characters with great chemistry, I highly recommend this book.

Marcus knows he loves Charlie, and Charlie loves him, but Marcus must set aside his old theories about BDSM and relearn the ropes if he wants to be the Dom—and the lover—they both need.

OH! It's so good!

I've mentioned a time or two before that I love the work of DC Juris. I do. As soon as I see a new title, I have to have it. This book was no exception and man was it a HOT read. As always, the writing flowed well. There are twists and turns that made me need to know what would happen next. I laughed, cried and had my share of the happy shivers. There are damaged characters, lots of sweaty sex, and characters I won't soon forget.

I do have to say that this book should come with a warning: will cause palpitations. But there's some play in this book that will certainly be hard for some readers to take. Pain play isn't really my cup of tea. I go down with a paper cut, but the play definitely works for these characters. Plus, once I really got to know the characters, I could understand more. So while the play might not be for the faint of heart, it works well in the story.

Charlie is a damaged man. The things he's been through, well, many readers won't be able to relate to, but we can understand his motivations. He's still got a sweet streak and when he's given the chance to just be himself, he really blossoms. Then there's Marcus. I loved that he's not a regular Dom, per se. I've read a lot of BDSM books where the Dom inflicts punishment for what rarely seems like the well being of the sub, but more for the thrill of the act. Marcus isn't like that. He cares about Charlie, even when he's not sure what the exact emotion is. It's a great and absolutely hot read.

Take the journey and read Relearning the Ropes. You'll be glad you did. I am.

'Trouble at the Treble T' by Desiree Holt

If one man is great, how hot will it be with three?

When Marti Jensen took the job managing the Treble Shooters honky-tonk, little did she know that the three Thompson brothers-Justin, Mark and Cade-had more in mind than having her pour drinks and keep order among the rowdies.

But a visit to their vast ranch, the Treble T, showed her just what kind of erotic fantasies they had and the role they expected her to play. The question then became...what next?

'Wild About That Thing' by Lisabet Sarai

There's more than one way to beat the blues.

Two things are important to Ruby Jones-her teenage son and her struggling club, the Crossroads Blues Bar. Her love life comes in a distant third, despite the efforts of Zeke Chambers to convince her otherwise. Zeke's the lead singer in her house band, a devoted friend, and an occasional lover. He can drive her wild with desire, but can't get her to make a commitment. Deserted by her cheating ex-husband, Ruby's determined she's going to make it on her own. She's hot-blooded like her bluesman daddy-happy to satisfy her physical cravings, but not about to let any man into her heart.

The stranger who takes the stage on the Crossroads open mike night upsets the delicate balance in Ruby's world. Remy Saint-Michel inspires irrational, irresistible lust as well as inexplicable sympathy. Overwhelmed, confused, guilty and worried about her prized independence, Ruby decides that the only way to deal with her two lovers is to push them both away. Zeke and Remy, though, have other ideas.

Reader Advisory: This book includes menage sex including anal penetration.

'Orchestrating Manoeuvres' by Lily Harlem

The life of a broken hearted supermodel can get pretty dull-there's only so much champagne and caviar one can handle. So, when the opportunity to hook up with two stunning Italian pianists with talented fingers, perfect rhythm and sublime composing presented itself, what could I say but yes, yes yes!

I have everything a girl could want; money, beauty, friends in high places. So why does it feel as if there’s a hole the size of Antarctica in my soul?

Because missing Dale has become a way of life and now instead of making love to the man of my dreams I rely on my battery-powered Rampant Rocker and spend my days dodging work and slugging champagne-until, that is, the two heart-stoppingly gorgeous Italian pianists who make up Ingresso Livello decide they want me.

Sing praise to the Lord! That was a red letter day, I can tell you!

Being asked to appear alongside them was risqué and controversial and set many tongues a-wagging. Plus they had a very unique way of thanking me for my troubles-turns out these two delectable musicians were as talented at creating erotic delights in the bedroom as they were at playing mesmerising music on stage.

Just the medicine for my broken heart? Well, it was certainly a deliciously sexy distraction and I would never, ever listen to the tinkling notes of a grand piano the same way again. And as for my broken heart? Well, it felt a whole lot better when everything slotted neatly into place.

Reader Advisory: This book contains ménage, M/M and a toy of the vibrating variety!

'Three-part Harmony' by Elizabeth Coldwell

When a new guitarist joins the band, is a loving duet about to become a trio?

When guitarist Mark Deans quits Sweet Lies the week before their concert tour is due to start, it looks like the end of the band, but singer Aimee and her husband Stefan have worked too hard to let that happen. The answer lies in Jake Anderson, who blows them away when he auditions to replace Mark. He’s cute, talented-and twelve years younger than Aimee-but there’s an instant attraction between them.

Even though she loves her husband deeply, she knows it’s only a matter of time before she and Jake end up in bed together-the same way she destroyed her relationship with Mark by tumbling into bed with Stefan. What she doesn’t expect is that when it happens, Stefan will not only give his blessing, but make the twosome a threesome by acting on his own desire for Jake...

Reader Advisory: This book contains MMF menage scenes, mild spanking and red-hot guitar solos.

'Rhapsody' by Imari Jade

Two gorgeous male rockers, one sexy lead female singer. Both men want her. Who will she choose?

Bryanna Trosclair is the female lead singer for the successful rock group, Simmer. She is being forced to choose between having a relationship with her best friend and lead male singer, Axil Simmons, and the group’s pianist, Collin Ripley.

Bryanna refuses to make a choice and decides to date both of them, even though the guys are ready to not only tear each other apart, but the group as well. When Axil and Collin call a private truce and decide to trick Bryanna into making a decision, their plan backfires. Can Simmer survive the fallout of the hot results?

Ménages and music-two great M’s to read about. But you do not just get one story within Treble, you get six well written and entertaining stories that I am sure will entice everyone in one way or another. With gyrating hips and perfectly executed bass vocals, the men within these stories are just dreamy and turned me into a groupie.

Trouble at the Treble T by Desiree Holt

This was a very good start and really set the pace for the other stories. The Thompson boys are what many women want, but few have the courage to experience. Three hot men playing with one woman’s body is intimidating and invigorating and Marti cannot wait to experience her turn. While all three brothers enticed her, Cade, the oldest, was the one she couldn't seem to stop thinking about.

From beginning to end, I enjoyed the relationship development between all of the characters. Justin, Mark and Cade’s outlook on life was extremely contagious and I could see why so many women lined up to get a chance to visit the Treble T.

Wild About That Thing by Lisabet Sarai

This story really intrigued me. A large part of my interest came from Ruby, Zeke, and Remy’s relationship. Ruby and Zeke seemed like the perfect couple. Zeke really loved her and it showed in that he was willing to do anything to prove that love. Yet, Ruby felt such intense attraction to Remy that I knew they were meant to be together. This made me connect deeper with Ruby. The clever way in which the author wrote the tale made me question who Ruby should be with during various moments within the story. It definitely made me want more of these characters.

Orchestrating Manoeuvres by Lily Harlem

At the beginning, I was not sure if I would enjoy the story because I didn't expect to like the character, Tiffany. She was a spoiled princess and those types of characters don't appeal to me. The author did a good job of making me realize that there was so much more to her than just a model that gets everything handed to her. I absolutely adored Nari and Ricardo, especially since they seemed a bit exotic, probably because they're from Italy. Everything about them was geared to turn a woman on, and they can definitely did. One thing that was a bit disappointing for me was the ending. There wasn't enough storyline that connected or justified the twist at the end. However, even with the tricky ending I did find this story pleasurable to read.

Three-Part Harmony by Elizabeth Coldwell

This story added a nice romantic slide into a ménage that I don't see very often. It started a little sad with a crucial band member leaving the Sweet Lies. Stefan and Aimee, along with the other band members, had to find a replacement fast -- enter Jake. He added a certain youth to the group that was refreshing; he also added a bit of lust that Stefan and Aimee’s marriage might not survive. I liked it because Stefan and Aimee had an established relationship, which seemed to make it work. But this story had a different vibe than many ménages and I found that refreshing. This was a story I could see myself reading again because of the twist.

Savin' Me by Wendi Zwaduk

This story was another sweet ménage story with a bit of BDSM in the mix. Though at times I found it hard to believe that Parker would submit to Jacoby for long because he seemed to have his own inner dominant in him. Juniper seemed to be the glue that really held this trio together. Sometimes you just need a woman’s touch and this relationship was no exception, though I didn't mind reading about Parker and Jacoby getting to know one another or a more physical level.

Rhapsody by Imari Jade

Out of all the stories within this anthology this was my favorite.

The relationship between Axil, Bryanna and Collin was a tough one and had to be worked on continuously since Axil and Collin seemed to have no real attraction or affection between them. This made the outcome of the story unpredictable and made me want to read even more to find out how Bryanna was going to deal with the growing attraction and emotions towards these two gorgeous men.

In the end, I really enjoyed each story in Treble. Every one had something to add to the anthology and really stuck with the theme. It even introduced me to a few new authors that I plan to learn more about.

Pack Seduction, 3

Delia is the last princess. Since her sisters have chosen mates, it's up to her to continue to wage war against the royal family. She recruits the help of Caleb, a fox shifter, to help find her way to the home she escaped from long ago.

A childhood friend is now guarding the palace, and the male she's betrothed to is determined to have her. She's in for the fight of her life if she's to remain unmated and change the old customs passed down to every generation. Will Delia become a martyr for her cause, or give in to the love of three determined shifters?

What a cute story and a wonderful conclusion to a short series that has been continuously steamy, entertaining and very sexy. The Last Princess did not disappoint.

As expected, there’s a lot of loving to go around. But much has to happen first before it’s realized.

Delia is the last unmated princess and she has an almost militaristic bent in proving to her mother, the queen, just how wrong she was to force her daughters into loveless marriages. Delia is the most focused, lethal and lonely woman of all the sisters. She’s convinced that not only will she not find love, she doesn’t deserve it. That is the kind of character that touches a romantic’s bleeding heart. No one should consider themselves unlovable.

Enter Caleb, the first of her beaus. What I liked about their first meeting is her denial of their attraction. He’s fox, she’s wolf, so no way could that ever work out. They say opposites attract and Ms. Espino illustrated that beautifully by having Caleb and Delia fall in love. Of course it wasn’t easy or without pitfalls and challenges. That’s why it was so precious and why I liked them together so much.

The next delightful wrinkle came from more emotional landmines in the forms of Alexander, the patient, and Ulric, the hopeless romantic. Two men who want Delia for vastly different reasons and both with no hope of achieving them; again a perfect conflict with great emotional hooks.

Alexander has been waiting for Delia for five long years as he’s watched the prime of his life slipping away. Ulric suffered from unrequited love and knew he would never stand a chance at Delia, but to protect her was worth any price. I simply found these two men equally worthy of my tender emotions and I wanted them to be happy but I figured out early on that Delia was going to go down fighting. She was not going to marry anyone for any reason. It’s that kind of challenge fate and a determined author can’t resist and I enjoyed a feast of the senses as Ms. Espino wove her magic and proved Delia wrong.

The Last Princess is saucy, exciting, witty and sensual. It’s hot, and for a short story, very well balanced. My absolute favorite thing besides the wild and wooly fun when all four of them mate, is the final chapter. It was so wonderful to see a complete happy ever after that not only tied up loose ends but made me feel tingly all over. For anyone who’s been reading this series, it’s a great wrap up and I expect they’re going to love it like I did. For a first time reader, it can stand alone but beware, there’s a strong chance it’s going to instill a furious curiosity to read about Delia’s other two sisters. This series is too much fun – don’t miss a single one.

Chocolate and sex—two of life’s most decadent pleasures—are the marketing tools Dana uses to lure customers to her erotic candy store. Her sexy dancing gets her customers hot and bothered for her confections, and Trevor, owner of Trevor’s Treasures, realizes he’d rather be on her side than competing against her. He pursues her with wit, charm and an offer to model nude for one of her statues.

Dana can’t believe her luck when she discovers the hunky ex-model has an identical twin brother. Little does she know that her strong attraction to Trevor will cause conflict between the two brothers, especially because she wants both of them to model nude.

When the competition gets hot, Dana is caught in the middle. What’s a girl to do?

“The sign on the door to Decadent Delights read, “Mature shoppers only. Anyone under eighteen not allowed.” Can you imagine seeing a candy shop with a disclaimer like that?

From the first paragraph until the end I was hooked. I mean how many women could turn down chocolate and a hot man in the same story? The tale started off at a fast pace and did not let up until the end. What I found so entertaining was that Trevor Stanford, the owner of Trevor’s Treasure, the other candy store in town, was Dana’s competitor. I thought it was going to make for a shaky relationship. Instead, they were both smitten when their eyes met while Dana was doing a sexy dance around a chocolate figure of a naked man.

It was intriguing watching Dana working through her trust issues, and the uncomfortable sensation she got at first when dealing with Trevor. When Trace, Trevor’s twin brother shows up, Dana dreams of the two men modeling for her and a little bit more. I can't put my finger on just why, but Trace ended up not being one of my favorite characters. There was something about his personality that I didn’t like and even though he looked like his brother he was so different from Trevor. There were a few places I had to back track to make sure that Trace was Trace, and Trevor was Trevor, because in a few places Trace would pretend to be his brother to try and trick Dana.

I love this story. When you mix chocolate, men, and hot sex you can be sure to have a very entertaining book that is worth every minute spent reading it. Decadent Delights has a delicious plot that will make a reader wonder if the characters will get a happy ending or if something will drive them apart. There were some hot sex scenes and the story was a easy read with great editing resulting in one of those cute and relaxing tales. Don’t miss out on Decadent Delights because the title doesn't even cover all the sweet treasures inside for your entertainment.
