In Bollywood, the brightest stars are the ones who need the most care.

Amar Vartak is fresh off the plane from England and on the set of his first Bollywood movie. Rama Kamane is his crush, his hero and the hottest Bollywood star of the moment.

Amar wants him but Rama doesn’t dare go there. He has his reputation to protect and he doesn’t tangle with male actors. He hasn’t bargained on the English boy capturing his heart though...

Rama Kamane is a Bollywood legend. Women fall at his feet and millions flock to see his gorgeous visage on the silver screen. He knows how to play the press to keep his career going and if wants to go on to Hollywood, he needs to keep his homosexuality out of the tabloids.

Amar Vartak is a dreamer. Hitting it big in this Bollywood movie means everything but if he fails, he risks going home to England and an arranged marriage. He doesn’t plan to fall in lust with his co-star and idol, Rama but he can’t deny his feelings for the gorgeous actor.

Ms. Blackwell has written a sinfully sexy gay Bollywood-style romance. The plot is fun and the chemistry hums between the two actors. With a prostitute playing the unlikely cupid and a well-meaning co-star who pushes them together, this story’s rich cast carries a lovely plot.

The ending was unexpectedly sweet and very enjoyable. While the story had a rough start with little description, the writing smoothed out by the end and I found myself rooting for the characters to get together.

Bollywood Dreams is one hot romance and with an HEA that delivers at the end, this romance is certainly dreamy. I recommend it for someone who is looking for an afternoon escape to Mumbai.

Scrumptious scoundrel. Daredevil T Dobbs, the sexiest cowboy to ever walk the streets of Delight, Texas, headed out of town, taking Melanie Honeycutt’s heart with him. But now he’s back and hotter than ever. Trust him? Her head says no but her body has other ideas.

Stubborn woman. She was the girl T never forgot and the woman he yearns for in the deepest part of his heart. But what’s a man to do when she doesn’t believe he’s home for good? T knows his way around dangerous curves, and Mel’s are hot enough to burn a man. He figures it’ll take a slow hand and some downright smokin’-hot sex to melt her reserve but he’s definitely up for the challenge.

Reader beware: Wear you contact lenses while reading this story! Regina Carlysle knows how to write a story that steams up the reading glasses!

Ms. Carlysle is now in my “favorite writer's” folder and on my must have books list. I loved this story and I know it will be a favorite one for a repeat read in the future.

Tall dark and handsome Heywood “T” Dobbs is a famous stuntman and local town hero, not to mention one sexy and very HOT daredevil. This cowboy turns heads when he swaggers back into his hometown of Delight, Texas but he is here for only one reason and that is to claim the lady he has loved since high school, Melanie Honeycutt.

Melanie, a high school English teacher and basketball coach, has gotten stuck handling the Miss Peach Delight Contest for the fair in town square. She loves her small town but she still pines for her long lost love T Dobbs. After all these years she should be able to move on, especially since a good looking biology teacher named Bradley Moore is asking her out these days yet she still delays. Why is it she cannot get over “T” walking out on her so many years ago?

Her life is then turned inside out when T shows up announcing to the world that he is back in town to stay and he plans on making Melanie his “woman” forever. But can poor Melanie's heart forgive him for leaving her in the first place and can she trust him at his word this time? Can lost love be rekindled and burn hotter than ever?

Soon misunderstandings bring new heartache to our heroine, but in the end all is “Happily Ever After”!

The sizzling chemistry between T and Melanie melted off the pages of the book from the very beginning.

I found myself completely enthralled in their heated “love-scenes” and anxious to turn the page to reveal yet another facet of these character's rekindling romance. Regina Carlysle made the descriptive overview of her characters come to life in vivid technicolor, as I felt I could see her characters in precise detail. Fanning myself through this story was a given, but even that hardly helped with cooling this reader down. I was completely drawn into this romance and found myself reaching for my hormone pills in case this hot flash combusted! I would say the love scenes were hotter than Texas in July!

With interesting and colorful side characters, I found myself hoping to read about their lives and romances in future installments. I really like that as the reader I could see the humbleness and insecurities of both characters in their quirks and their banter making them seem so touchable and real.

I was extremely impressed with the fluidity of the storyline that flowed so sensually. Regina Carlysle's smooth story-telling lured this reader into her fictional reality completely. I found myself reading this book non-stop from start to finish without even realizing that my allotted leisure time had passed by. In fact I read this story twice, that is how much I enjoyed it. The editing was great on this book and my only complaint was that the story was so short (sorry guys, that is always my complaint on short stories and I am aware this is my problem not the story's). I would have loved to read more about these characters and their lives, but for a short story again I say Regina Carlysle really brought this story to life.

Need a little daredevil in your life? Well this is one hot cowboy you can fantasize about! Looking for a lost romance rekindled? Than this story is for you! Can you handle the heat? Come on, I dare you!

All heiress Kara Mikos wants is a vacation cruise and a hot shipboard fling. When her father phones to say there is a plot to kidnap her, she brushes it off as another of his many attempts to control her life.

Private security expert Harper Long doesn’t mean to fall for his client’s sexy daughter but what better way to keep her close enough to protect? Granting his libido free rein comes with a price, though—a treasure he’s not willing to lose.

Kara Mikos: beautiful heiress, longs for the one thing in life she's never found. Honesty. A man who wants her for who she is as a person and not the title she carries as heiress to a great fortune. Kara has never found a man who would tell her the truth, not even her father. For her, the parable of the poor little rich girl who has never found love is true. Her answer: To don a disguise and secretly set sail on a cruise ship as an anonymous single woman looking for a fling.

When Kara meets Harper Long in the ship's lounge, fling doesn't come close to describing how hard she falls for the sexy, muscular and confident man. Soon they are having wildly passionate, raging hot sex in her room. Kara feels in heaven with the freedom she possesses with her anonymous persona. Nothing has ever come close to the amazing lovemaking she experiences with Harper.

Little does she know, that Harper is a private security expert hired by her father to guard and protect her because of a kidnapping threat he has received. When her father had warned her earlier of the threat, Kara did not believe him because of his previous deceits. Kara has come to expect her father's exaggerations and overprotection.

Harper is usually a professional in every way when he is on the job. But when he sees Kara, all thoughts except his undeniable attraction to her go straight out the window and he does what he has never done before: seduces his client's daughter. In no time at all he has lost his heart to the sexy beauty. The problem is, Harper hasn't blown his cover and Kara doesn't know that he's her father's hire.

When it becomes apparent someone is following her and Harper immediately goes into professional mode, Kara realizes who he is and hits the roof. He has deceived her when she believed he was the only man who had ever been honest with her. Not only is she angry, she is crushed and refuses to have anything personal to do with him again. But in light of the escalating danger surrounding Kara, Harper refuses to leave her alone. She has other plans though, and slips away from him as he sleeps.

Wynter Daniels has taken the tale of the over-protected rich girl who falls in love with her bodyguard and given it a breath of fresh air. There is exciting sexual tension and real 'edge of your seat' suspense in this sexy-sweet and fast-paced little thriller. She really packed a lot into this short story. I enjoyed this more realistic take on the familiar fairy tale very much. Harper is one hot alpha male who nearly pounces off the pages. I sure liked him!

I also was very impressed with the believable and satisfying ending which left me hopeful and pleased. Ms. Daniels has imbued the people in her story with dimension and real character which endeared me to them and had me cheering them on to the end. For, in the end, Kara, Harper and even Kara's father all find the higher ground and are left with the great rewards of overcoming their challenges.

I eagerly await the next installments in this new series and hope that they are as entertaining and inspiring as this one is. I recommend, Sizzle at Sea, book one in the Long and Hard series to all romance lovers who want a dose of exciting adventure with their 'sizzle'!

Allie only wanted two weeks of peace and quiet at her friend’s beach house to get her life in perspective. She wasn’t looking for sex, drugs and a kidnapping. But that’s what she gets when she encounters not one but two tasty men.

Tony, her gorgeous next-door neighbor, has a body any woman would want to explore, and Allie crave him licking, teasing and ravishing her body with those strong hands and kissable lips. Little does she know Tony’s on the trail of a drug dealer.

Then there’s Paul, who also wants a piece of Allie…if he can possibly tear her away from Tony.

Sand, Surf and Fun has a whole different meaning with Sex on the Beach. Summer is not complete without a little “Sand and Wave” romance. Throw in a couple HOT hunks and and point me toward the coast! Amber Skyze's has put “Sizzling Heat” back in beach parties and summer romance.

Alley Sandler is an stressed out workaholic who has been running 24/7 at her job for quite sometime. After getting physically sick and realizing she has to change her lifestyle, she quits her demanding job and heads for her friend Pam's beach-house for some much needed rest and relaxation.

Tony Razzano is a 6 foot tall green-eyed sexy Italian who happens to live at the beach-house next door. When Alley sets her eyes on him, thoughts of seduction scenarios creep into her conscious. What Alley does not realize is that Tony is an undercover cop looking for a new drug dealer in town. When Alley makes the mistake of labeling her medications in baggies for her convenience and Tony spies on her and sees her doing this, Tony starts to wonder if perhaps Alley might be the person he has been looking for. But there is a major problem, Tony is extremely attracted to Alley. How can he justify having a relationship with a possible suspect? But we already know the sex will be HOT between our two main characters. After-all that's why we call it erotic!

Tony finds himself scoping out Alley and getting closer to her to know her better (for his job of course...”wink, wink”). He figures this way he can see if she is his drug dealer, yet desperately hoping he is wrong. Soon this blazing affair ignites. How are these two going to keep their hands off each other when Tony finds circumstantial evidence making Alley look guilty?

Throw in a dog named Buddy and a second beach-hunk named Paul and soon this suspense climbs to a chilling and unexpected climax. Can there be a “happily ever after” for Tony and Alley?

This is the second review that I have done on an Amber Skyze beach romance book. I have to say, her stories make me want to rush to the coast and catch myself a hunk like her characters. If only I could reel them in like our heroine does! This tale was as HOT as a July summer beach day! I really enjoyed the fact that we got a suspenseful adventure that kept this reader captivated. Amber Skyze did a great job at setting up a scenario that not only peaks your curiosity, but also keeps you sitting on pins and needles at the end, wondering if our heroine can be saved in time.

What more can a gal want in a short story romance? Sex On the Beach has great location, two sexy characters, a villain and a plot. When mixed with a talented writer, you have the ingredients for a possible best seller.

Gillian Forrester spent most of her life running from who and what she came from. Until Miles came along. From the moment she held the tiny newborn her older sister didn't want, Gillian stopped running and began to build a life for herself and her adopted son. Now, thirteen years later, as Gillian's sister lay dying, she reveals the father's identity and makes Gillian promise to find him.

Adrian Brown is the epitome of the successful rock star. He's seen and done it all, with few regrets. It takes a lot to shock him but the bombshell that he has a thirteen-year-old son rocks his world. And Adrian is even more surprised when the buttoned-up, elegant woman who's raising Miles snags his erotic and romantic attention.

The last thing Gillian expected was to find herself getting hot and heavy with a person like Adrian. But as much as she wants to open up and give herself fully to this amazing man, she's afraid the secrets of her past and Adrian's problems with trusting people may keep them apart for good. If love isn't enough can they find the trust they need?

I have always felt in choosing a book, the blurb on the back is so important, the author is always a consideration and the little excerpts that you find on blog is a great resource. Never in all my years have I chosen a book just by looking at the cover…until now. Wow!! Just seeing this cover, I wanted to know the story of this man. Then I realize it is the work of Lauren Dane, and then I find it is the finale of her Brown family saga. This is Adrian’s story--sexy, studly Adrian the rock star whom I have followed for three books. I am a happy woman!!

Super rock star Adrian Brown is just returning to the stage after a self imposed exile to retool, to reboot, to reacquaint himself with the family he adores. He is home, doing what he loves the most. He is a rock star with everything he wants, except a woman to share his different lifestyle, the lifestyle of a celebrity. As a celebrity he has had his share of cons, stalkers and just plain crazies but nothing prepared him for a phone call out of the blue announcing a son he never knew he had.

Gillian Forrester is the perfect mom but she is a mom by no choice of her own, and is raising her sister Tina’s child. Thirteen years later on her death bed, Tina finally tells Gillian the name of the father and makes her promise to contact him. How does she explain this to her child but most importantly how does she explain this to his father?

Believing she is about to blackmail him, Adrian reluctantly meets with Gillian and her son and begins a relationship that is going to totally change his life. Surrounded by all the Browns and their extended families, Gillian and Miles become the center of Adrian’s life and the direction of his future. Not exactly getting off with a great start, Gillian and Adrian find a connection and an attraction that brings them together not only as parents but as lovers as well. Adrian is the dark, sexy, dirty talker that Gillian longs for in her bed and she becomes the angel that stirs his emotions and desires so much that he cannot stay away from her.

Nobody writes family like Lauren Dane. The Browns are an eclectic group of loving individuals that leap off of every page. They are personable, attractive, comforting and their family dynamic is real and relatable. At every turn they draw you in and keep you here. There is never an uncomfortable moment, or regret their movements and decisions. I must admit after developing somewhat of a relationship with the Browns and with Lauren Dane, her character of Gillian is not exactly personable or endearing at first. She is distant, combative and even a little snobbish, but the continued attention and determination of the Browns soften her exterior and her heart. It is a treat to watch the defensive walls built by both of the characters slowly come tumbling down.

When it comes to family drama and romance you will never go wrong with a Lauren Dane novel. This is one of her best!!

Seeking sanctuary for her people, an Ice Dragon Queen ensnares a Captain of the Guard.

On a boring reconnaissance flight for his laird, Captain of the Guard Taggert Stuart spots a pale dragon under attack by wraiths. After the rescue, he learns the dragon hails from the northlands of the Ice Dragons and is their Queen.

Fleeing the destruction of her home, Ice Queen Kristjana McDrakken races to Scotland to seek sanctuary from Laird Liam McDrakken. Sensual feelings flare between Queen and Captain. Both ply for leadership in the bedroom, but an Ice Queen may only mate another with Ice in their bloodline. This doesn’t bode well for a dragon with Fire in his blood.

In the midst of anger, can these two find a way to blend the bloodlines?

Dragon Sanctuary is Nicole Dennis’ third visit with the McDrakken warriors and their unique world. Each of the books can stand alone, but the world becomes richer with each book, and we meet many characters again. I had read the first book, and was hoping Ms. Dennis would bring more of her fantastic dragons to life.

On routine patrol, Fire dragon Taggert Stuart and his men encounter a Wraith attack on a group of dragons, and they fly to the aid of the strangers. Once the enemy is routed, Tagg leads the bedraggled group to his Laird’s castle for protection. Tagg feels an attraction to the female that he has carried back, and discovers she is an Ice dragon, and more than that, she is their queen.

When the Laird hears the story of what befell the Ices, he offers sanctuary to the remaining dragons. Of the original five hundred of the Ice Dragons, only fifty survive the betrayal of one of their own, who has been turned by promises of great power by the Wraiths.

Kristjana feels safe with Tagg, and the passion rises quickly between them. Tagg feels he has finally found is true mate, but is hurt when Jana tells him that, although she wants and cares deeply for him, she must mate with an Ice dragon for the sake of her people. What neither of them know is that there is Ice blood in Taggert’s lineage, and before they can explore the possibilities, Jana is taken by the traitor as an offering to the Wraiths seeking to destroy the dragons.

Will Tagg be able to save Jana, and convince her he is the mate for her? Will these two find out the truth and mix the bloodlines as well as their lives? Can these two find the happy ever after they deserve?

This is a world filled with danger and betrayal, but with passion and loyalty as well. The characters are strong and well crafted, and these are folks I want to spend more time with.

Kristjana ‘Jana’ McDrakken is a proud and strong leader of her people. She is also a woman who has suffered a betrayal by one of her own, and is trying to come to terms with the loss of most of her people as well as the destruction of her home. She is drawn to Tagg deep in her heart, but also feel the need to keep her people safe and together. I enjoyed watching as Jana realized that she could be both Queen and woman, and have all she desired.

Taggert ‘Tagg’ Stuart is a strong warrior, brave and ready to defend those who need it. He doesn’t expect to have his mate drop out of the skies into his arms in a Wraith attack, but he is more than happy to explore the feelings between him and Jana. I felt his hurt when Jana told him that she needed to mate with a dragon with Ice bloodlines, and watched as he came to terms with her decision. I loved it when he decided that, bloodline or not, he would prove to her that he was the only one for her, once she was endangered again.

There are several intriguing twists her, and there is a bit of political wrangling going on behind the scenes. The secondary characters are well defined, and they have been seen before in the first two books of the series. There are a couple of delightful surprises here, and I enjoyed catching up with earlier characters to see how they have been. This is for those who like fantasy and dragons along with scorching hot romance in their reading lives. I recommend this, and the others in the series as well.

Going home could be deadly.

Centuries have passed. While family has come and gone, cat shifter Zareb has stayed strong to fight against an evil that keeps coming back. It’s his duty as a guardian and he never lets the Ancients down. Not even when he has to go against his fellow guardian. It is a risk he was willing to take - until he meets the woman who could change his world.

Joy Rockwell is pissed at the universe. Or is she? The pull from the Vessel is strong. It drags her down and brings out her mean side. Although she’s journeying to Africa with virtual strangers, she knows in her heart that this is where she is meant to be.

Two strong individuals must fight their way through the jungles of Africa to put an end to the hold the Vessel has over the shifters before it’s too late. Will they fall in love along the way? Or will they be torn apart by circumstances beyond their control?

Origins is the fourth book in Jambrea Jo Jones’ intriguing series, Seeds of Dawn.

A plane crash, a dead pilot, and betrayal by an old friend-all come into play when Joy, Ive, Djimon and Zareb travel to Africa to return the evil Vessel to where it was found. They must succeed in this or the world could be in more danger than anyone can imagine.

When the group is ambushed, Joy and her mate Zareb are separated from Ive and Djimon in the African jungle where Zareb grew up. Joy and Zareb realize that they have to make a decision: rescue Ive and Djimon or continue on their original path to destroy the Vessel. When the Ancients speak to Zareb, they convince him that Djimon’s safety is no longer Zareb’s responsibility and they must continue on their quest to return the Vessel to its original resting place.

When they are joined by one of Zareb’s old friends, Zareb takes it as a sign that success is at hand. Baakir, however, betrays the trust Zareb and Joy show him, at least at first. When Joy experiences a shift into panther, without the mating ritual, Zareb is stunned to discover what he has done. But he is determined to keep his mate safe, and awed at her strength in both forms. Can Joy and Zareb make it through the jungle to destroy the Vessel? Can they trust the about face of Baakir, and save Ive and Djimon? Can they all make it back to the Masters pack and begin their new lives?

This takes the story back to its source, in Africa, in the time when Zareb and Djimon were young, and being trained to be guardians, before they were shifters. There is a marvelous use of flashbacks in this one, with Zareb remembering the good times and the bad times before and after the Vessel drew them to it. I loved these glimpses into a time before the evil was loose, and seeing how all of this started.

Joy Rockwell is strong and determined, and loyal to those she cares for. She is also strong in magic, and a good match for the strength of Zareb. I love her sassy attitude and her take no prisoners approach to life. I liked that, although she is new to the shifter community, she trusts in her mate completely and without question. I love that they share power, to the benefit of both, and that she is willing to step back when Zareb asks. I also love her determination to convince Zareb that he is worthy of having a mate, namely her.

Zareb is strong, and carries a burden of guilt that keeps him from being happy. He feels unworthy of Joy and her love, and he doubts himself and his mission. I liked the fact that Zareb was willing to let Joy take the lead at times in their relationship, not needing to be the big strong man all the time. There is a sharing of power and of souls that is unique to these two, and it is possible because his inner strength and his sense of the past and its connection to the present.

This is a fast paced adventure, with danger around every turn in the path for Joy and Zareb and their friends. The passion in this one explodes off the page early and often, and it was impossible to put down. Ms. Jones raises the heat level in this with several hot scenes, both in the jungle, and again back in civilization.

Origins finally gives the reader a look into where and how events have unfolded, and offers a glimpse into a possible future for the Masters pack and all shifters. The supporting cast is perfect in this one, and I enjoyed looking at the progress of these characters as they find their unique place in the pack. I recommend that this series be read in order to get the whole picture of what is happening in the world of passion and magic and power.

Still, there’s no rule that says she can’t look, right?

Except one night she finds herself doing more than looking, she’s touching, tasting, licking…yum. But it was never meant to be. He’s a werewolf and attracted to someone else. She’s a human and on the next bus out of town. Nope, it would never work. Cassie has lusted after Jay but when she finds out it is no secret she runs from him and the safety of the pack. What does a werewolf do when his interest runs? Why chase her of course and that is just what Jay does. He is bound and determined to get Cassie to understand things his way. Can Jay return to the pack with Cassie by his side or will she fight him and loose her chance at a happy ever after?

I really loved Cassie and the way she stands up for herself and begins to come out of her shell. She is a strong woman who needed a bit of a push and it looks as if Jay is just the man to help her out with that. He is a great man who loves with all his heart and is more than willing to do what ever Cassie needs to make her understand and feel loved. As the story unfolds the lust between Jay and Cassie quickly turns into more. While the two work out their own problems we also get to meet new characters and see more of the pack, making this a very well rounded read that kept my attention to the end and has me wanting more.

Not only do we get Cassie and Jay’s story but we are also treated to many secondary characters that grab your attention like Dusty and Brynn. I enjoyed the interaction between all the characters and found myself liking Dusty and the friendship that develops between her and Cassie. This is the second book in this series and I would advise reading the first so that as the reader you understand the characters and their world much better. I hope that this series continues and we get to visit the pack again.

The wolf races in where the human heart trembles to follow.

Wolf Town, Book 3

Iain’s head has called Wolf Town home for six years. His heart, hurt by a childhood spent suppressing his wolf, won’t let him believe he isn’t one misstep away from exile.

During the first moon run of the year, the electrifying connection his wolf makes with Teo, the pack’s beta and resident doctor, has potential mate written all over it. Yet the only emotion that rises above the tangled scars of his past is excitement over ensuring a permanent place in Wolf Town.

Teo can’t believe Iain so easily crashed through his rock-solid resolve never to date within the pack. The young wolf’s artless, fumbling explanation for his attraction only serves to remind Teo why he set those rules—his own past in a dysfunctional pack. Guilt that he let Iain so far under his skin forces Teo to do the one thing his heart rails against. Keep it clinical.

Teo’s apparent rejection not only breaks Iain’s heart, it triggers a deep-seated desperation that pushes him to take a terrible chance for the sake of the pack. And to show Teo their connection is no illusion.

Can a man shed his demons of the past in order to live a normal life? Or will fear of being cast aside keep him from letting his true self be seen?

Iian was introduced in Wolf Town and was instantly cast as the character you wanted to hate. He’s a habitual liar and a user. But in Push Pull I got to see another side of this man and I was blown away by the sacrifices he made to keep another member of Wolf Town safe. Immediately I knew there was a story there. Something happened to him to make him act the way he does. And in Moon Run I finally got the answers.

Most of the residents of Wolf Town are shifters and part of being a shifter is the need to run during the full moon. If this is not done can cause serious damage to the wolf/person denying their dual nature. Iian was raised by a human mother who did not understand this. After a falling out he ended up in Wolf Town looking to make a fresh start and he opted to go to any lengths to fit in ... until he meets Teo.

Teo is the town doctor and strong, silent beta wolf. He has secluded himself from all personal relationships. He has suffered past experiences of being used because of the position he holds in the pack and he has no desire to relive that pain.

It really is a fluke how these two men come together. They’re both so headstrong it borders on ridiculous. But the one thing they both crave is love and acceptance for who they are and not what they can give in return.

When Iian puts himself in danger, Teo realizes what he’s feeling isn’t just a passing thing and he wants Iian no matter what. And for Iian he’s known all along that he has wanted Teo but fears rejection. A life and death situations help this couple come together to heal each other’s wounds from the past.

I loved how the author had Iian redeem himself and made him a likeable character. For a short story it was filled with emotion from front to back. Moon Run is a romance built on mutual attraction, fear, misunderstandings, and most importantly, love.

She immediately runs into her first love, Gabe Carter, who ten years earlier left her for another woman after a summer-long affair that became the best time of her life. Gabe suddenly left to marry the woman he was seeing before. The woman who stepped forward to claim she carried his child.

Sexy, hard-bodied, good looking lawyer Gabe has spent the last ten years pining for Jill and attempting to contact her. However, Jill has refused all calls or contact from him, believing him to be a two-timing player who trampled her heart. What Jill doesn't know is that Gabe divorced his wife following her miscarriage of their baby.

Jill had been involved with a nice man for several years named, Mike, who taught her how to have an exciting and fulfilling sex life, but she never felt real love for him like she did for Gabe. Since Mike, she hasn't been interested in any men and has stayed out of the dating scene, keeping to herself. That is, until she meets Gabe again after ten years.

The heat between them blazes and the sparks fly hot the minute they run into each other. Jill can't resist Gabe's raw sexuality and immediately they are drawn into an exciting, erotic affair that gains in intensity and depth every time they are together. The scalding sex scenes in this novel had me turning up the A/C constantly. I love the natural way that Ms. Holt weaves the evolving relationship between the lovers with the hottest sex scenes imaginable. This book just grows hotter with every turn of the page.

Gabe is a dominant and very imaginative lover who has met his sexual and emotional match in Jill, who can't get enough of this exciting, attentive and powerful lover. One thing I really love about the relationship between Jill and Gabe is the layers and depth of their love. Gabe is not only a strong, dominant lover, he is nurturing and tender as well, giving his heart openly and completely. At first he is too insecure to say the L word, which is often even the case with very confident men. He is worried that Jill will turn tail and run, as she did ten years before, never giving him a chance to explain.

There is also a foul air hanging over the upcoming celebration in the town. I don't want to give away the plot, but there are some very interesting developments which Jill and Gabe become key to solving and there is a menacing element of danger in this sub plot.

The main story is the evolving love and trust between the two main characters, and it is a sweet and sexy story, indeed. I found this to be a hot, engaging romance that I am eager to recommend to all. It has something for almost everyone in the 'heat' department, so be prepared to be very entertained. I say, go get a copy of, Night Heat now!

Undercover Lovers

Who’s undercover?

Shane Madison – Dead sexy private eye posing as a Strippendale’s dancer
Tucker Lamb – Smooth as butter former conman posing as nerdy professor
Saffron Burton – Sensual food critic posing as just another customer
Katrina Killian – Brazenly sexual cop posing as a gang member

Four ultra-sexy stories by four great authors, with one theme.

They’re sneaky and no one can know who they are. They won’t forget their missions, even for a gorgeous face. They’ll do anything to get their jobs done, even if it means hitting the sheets to keep their cover.

Undercover Lovers is an anthology by four authors about men and women going undercover to get their jobs done. I was expecting stories about secret agents but instead every story had a theme where one of the people had a secret identity. Whether it was a former con man, food critic, private eye or a cop, they all had a hidden agenda but falling in love was too hard to resist and quite a unique twist.

With anthologies, there are typically a couple stories I skim over, but that wasn't the case with this one. Each story here was a page turner. The sex was always hot and heavy, well written, appropriate and descriptive. The heroes were hot and the heroines were spunky. I became involved with each couple and enjoyed their road to love each time.

All the stories were hot reads and this anthology did what it was supposed to: I enjoyed it so much that I found myself curious about all the authors. The writing was so strong, the stories so interesting that I’ll definitely be going into their backlist to check them out.

Undercover Lovers is on my keeper shelf and I look forward to re-reading and throughly enjoying these stories in the future.
