As Alpha, Roul Verlaine always looked out for his twin. When Ranulf flees to New York City with his new mates, Roul hires the Watcher Agency to check on him. All thoughts of his brother vanish when Roul meets the sexy owner of Watchers. Morgan Kale is a rare white werewolf, a lone wolf who sets Roul’s senses on fire. His wolf instantly wants her and Roul can’t resist her. She bests him at chess and martial arts and is the fiercest, most perfect lover he’s ever known. And he doesn’t want to leave her.
Morgan knows instantly she and Roul are mates even if he hasn’t figured it out yet. His seduction overrides her common sense and yearning heart. The sex is mind-blowing and they even get along outside the bedroom. But Roul is in town for only three days, and Morgan must decide whether to tell him they are mates…or let him walk out of her life forever.
When Roul meets with the company he is using to make sure his brothers mating has come to a good conclusion, he never expects to meet the woman of his dreams. Morgan realizes just what she and Roul are right from their very first meeting. Now if only Roul would come to realize the same thing before he goes back to his pack and walks out of Morgan’s life. She vows to let him go despite knowing what he is and what it means to them both. Can Roul figure it out or will he loose his one and only chance at happiness?
I love my visits to the wondrous worlds that this author brings to readers and this book does not disappoint. Roul is a great man and loves with all his heart no matter who or what it might be he gives it all that he has to give. Seeing Roul find love and almost lose it was a beautiful read.
Morgan is a strong woman who has to make a hard choice and almost doesn’t make the right one. I really enjoyed watching the bond develop between Roul and Morgan. Their attraction is a strong one right from the get go and watching it turn into love was a great read. The author does a wonderful job of bringing the characters and their world to life. There is so much emotion in this story that I lost myself in their world and enjoyed my visit all the way to the end.
