To keep her job, a demure graphic artist must make sure her foundation's billionaire donor, a hard-driving tech mogul, stays under wraps for four days—in gossip-hungry Washington, DC. Too bad he has other plans—and is far too gorgeous to miss.

May Reed is the artist for the Save the Penguins Foundation, its founder Markus Edmondsson has told her that for the next few days she will be responsible for seeing to the needs of one of their rich donors. Beau Kurck is the donor who will finance their next expedition which Markus has told May she will not be a part of. May is not amused that she is not going on the expedition and that she has to babysit this person who is a known recluse. At first she thought they wanted her to sleep with this man but she was assured that all she had to do is keep him to his schedule and make sure he is happy.

Beau Kurck is the recluse that May is supposed to keep happy and satisfied. Beau is an app-maker and has created the game Cranky Penguins. He is rude, demanding and expects May to be at his beck and call no matter what time of the day or night. His other reason for coming beside giving the foundation a donation is to reconnect with someone he once asked to marry him but was refused.

Babysitting the Billionaire is one of those books that had good characters but I found that I could not fully embrace them. The characters didn't reach out and grab my attention which is one of the things I look for. It also took a while for May and Beau to connect on a more personal level, but they finally did and their relationship was sweet. The supporting characters were interesting and added to the story which helped move the story along.

Beau's attitude towards May was annoying but the way she handled him was not only amusing but refreshing. I enjoy when the female lead does not back down from the male lead but gives as good as she gets. May was that kind of character which for me made this story likeable. It was also fun to see how Beau started to change his attitude as he started to fall for May. Babysitting The Billionaire was a pleasant way to spend an hour or two and I look forward to reading more from this author.

Rancher Case Turner is a shibari master who prefers his partners submissive, silent and lush. When he meets an outspoken, curvy lawyer from Austin, he’s wild to capture the colorful creature he calls his butterfly. His cho. Yearning to tie her up nice and tight. And defying the rule of the single men in Bravado that they share desirable women, Case plans to keep Samantha Marlowe all for himself.

Sam has a big, bad aversion to Dominants, so resisting Case’s magnetism seems like a wise idea. Yet Case, who usually binds his women to him in erotic public exhibitions, lures her with sweet-talk and humor. Case becomes the lover Sam told herself she’d never have—kind and tender.

But Case wants to tie up her heart, as well as her body—and she’s ready to bolt. If Case puts his heart on the line as well, Sam might admit there’s no rope stronger than love to tie her down.

Samantha Marlowe is like a fire in Case Turner's blood . One that the sexy Texas rancher can't put out.

From their first confrontation, attorney Sam Marlowe had a suspicion that Case was a Dominant . The plucky redhead is facinated by the his smooth confidence and rugged good looks . But she 's been traumatized by an out of control Master in the past. Uncertain which world she belongs in, Sam doesn't know if she can ever get past her fear. She's not sure if she want's to get back in the game.

Case Turner loves to tie his women down . But he can see that the fiery Sam has had a bad experience in her past. He doesn't like being shot down by a woman. So when Sam emphatically rejects his offer, the smooth operater begins his campain to win her over.

The Bravado way is that single women are usually shared by more than one man. As a rule, Case and his buddy, Joel Winthrope, share their women. But Case is a bad boy who doesn't want to share his treat this time. Not even with his best friend.

A romantic birthday celebration leads to an intense sexual interlude between Sam and Case. Until a drunken Joel shows up eager to join the party. Sam is stunned to discover that the two friends had planned on sharing her. Did she put her faith in yet another man who betrayed her trust?

If you're in the mood for a fun sexy read then this story is definitely for you. The story would have been a little stronger, though, had the author seriously explored adding Joel into the relationship. Why bring the friendship - and their agreement to share a woman - into the storyline, only to have Case do a 180 and change his mind? It just seemed like a total change of character to me. But it's still good. I do love me some scorching hot love scenes and this story has plenty of those. It also left me wanting for Joel's story. I'm really looking forward to that one. So would I recommend this story? You betcha!

Betrayal and fright caused her to run. A threat to her home town lures her back.

Welcome to Alston, Maine. A place where different Other Kin species have lived in peace and thrived for centuries. However, there’s one major rule: if you leave and know of a threat to the town, you must come back in person to report all details.

Woodland Fairy Kalana Fairlawn ran when she thought her soul mate, and Lyken warrior, Drake Roven, had betrayed her on the night of their first mating, leaving her pregnant and vulnerable.

Nine years later darkness emerges that could threaten the existence of Alston and all the different Other Kin species who call it home.

The Werewolf's Mate has everything it takes for a fun and sexy read. It has hunky Lyken, sexy vampires, and bad-ass fairies all living together in peace until an ancient evil threatens not only their town but their very souls Now, an outcast has returned to save them all - and to claim the man she still loves.

Kalana Fairlawn once ran from the man she loved ...the man she believed had seduced and betrayed her. Reviled for her human/Fae blood, Kala was tormented by the bullies in her hometown . Drake Roven was one of the few who treated her as an equal. When a cruel misunderstanding on the night of their mating leads to heartbreak, Kala runs away. Now, nine years later, she returns with warnings of a dangerous threat against the town...and also of the traitor within their midst.

Angry at Kala for running , Drake distances himself from Kala. Until he meets Livi, his very precocious young daughter. A daughter he never knew about. Kala and Drake decide to stay together for the sake of their daughter - a Lyken child on the cusp of her first shift. And to sate the desire they both still feel for each other. Drake and Kala have their hands full coping with the lingering prejudices that still threaten Kala and her daughter. Although, Kala may have once been an easy target for intimidation, her powers have increased exponentially since she's been gone. In other words, she's one bad-ass fairy. As one challenger fast learns.

As a dark storm races toward the town of Alston , the townsfolk come together to fight an ancient evil that stalks their town...and threatens to steal their very souls. Salvation comes as an outcast and an unforeseen Guardian step forward to protect the land in a climactic ending.

I'm a big fan of the paranormal genre and of shifter stories in general. That being said, it was the heroine that stole the thunder in this short story. Kala was one kick-ass Fairy. She protected what was hers. That meant she was willing to go to the mat to defend her mate, her daughter and her town. I also liked the fact that instead of being a vindictive bitch, Kala came back to save the same people who had treated her so badly.

I must say that I was very impressed with the author's writing. The plot was very interesting. The storyline was consistent. However, I thought it would have been better had we heard the hero's point of view. As a rule, I enjoy the story more when I get to experience not only the POV of the heroine but that of the hero also. Just a small suggestion would be that next time give the hero a voice too. That being said, I still liked the story enough to look forward to a next entry in the series.

When Kayleigh takes a gap year before starting University, she decides she's going to stay away from guys and just concentrate on having fun and experiencing life. That means going through a lot of batteries, but she's happy and satisfied.

That is, until she gets to Spain on her travels and meets her new co-worker, Luciano. The scorching hot Spaniard soon has Kayleigh's knickers in a twist— literally—and the time they spend together seriously raises the bar for her sex life. How will any other man ever compare?

Everyone has that special someone who raises the bar. For Kayleigh, that just happens to be one seriously sexy Spaniard!

This story is part of the Edge Erotica Series. Its a quick read but certainly packs a punch in the steamy department. Kayleigh is traveling the world on her gap year and working in a restaurant in Spain when hunky Luciano catches her eye. From then on in the two are inseparable, in every sense of the word. I won’t tell you too much more because the plot isn’t complex, its a dive-in-and-read-some-sex book.

Having said that I enjoyed how this story managed, in a short space of time, to get me invested in the characters. When it came to the sex scenes I was there with them. Kayleigh’s longing for Luciano was palpable, the tension swift but intense. He was one hot stud for her to pass some time with.

Luciano was lovely. All coffee-colored skin, and chocolate eyes. I enjoyed how he was described as lean and tall and not over-stuffed with muscles, a nice change in this type of book. By the time I reached the end I could see where the book got its title from – he would have raised my bar too!

I read this on my coffee break, and by the time I had to go back to work, I wasn’t just hot from the steaming mug in my hand! The pages burned up with bedroom action, and it wasn’t all vanilla, there was a nice little kink too.

So, in summary, if, like me, you enjoy escaping the monotony of the office for fifteen minutes and finding a quiet corner with your Kindle for some down and dirty reading, then Raising the Bar is a book for you. Add in luscious Luciano, and what’s not to enjoy?

In the Badlands, there are dangers too numerous to count and beings as fascinating as they are deadly.

Michael, Alec and Vic are on a mission to rescue little Juliette's mother, the Warrior they are convinced is their mate. It will take the help of many Warriors and Mutants to get them across the Badlands to the Great Abandoned City in the East. Most women wouldn't stand up to the pressure. Fortunately, Evandra isn't most women. She can take anything the Badlands -- or her Marines -- can dish out.

And follow it up with plenty of her own.

This story brings us back to the Badlands. Michael, Alec and Vic are Marines who need to find their mate. She has been held against her will for years by the government yet she never gives up fighting for her freedom. Somehow she has made a connection with the daughter that she never even got to see. Juliette has longed to meet her mother in person and when she meets the three Marines, she knows that they are the men who can rescue her mother but so much unknown danger lies between them and happiness. Can the three men survive the Badlands and save their mate before it is to late?

I really am intrigued by the world of the Badlands. From all the different species to the evil government, all these things pull me into the story right from the start. Michael, Alec and Vic are each strong men and special in their own way. Watching them begin to understand their mate and begin a relationship with her was a nice read. Evandra may be their mate but that does not mean she is a push over. She is just as much a fighter as her men. I enjoyed watching the men and Evandra finding just how everything worked with each other and begin their relationship. There is so much give and take between them all. Even though the men always want to protect their mate they learn to let her take care of herself at times and she in turn learns to give as well. Seeing them all interact with Juliette was great read as well. I love the little girl.  She endeared herself to me when we first met her and continues to do so in this book.

Even though I fell in love with Juliette I found this story lacking something for me. I did not find myself as engrossed in the story as previous books in this series. Although I did not connect to these characters as intensely as I did the past ones I still enjoyed this book. Not only do we get a hot read with this book but it also gives us a wonderful storyline to entertain us. Once again we get to meet many more creatures that live in the Badlands and I'm such a fan of the series that I hope that we get to see them all get their stories told.

Angela has put her dreams of living an out and proud life as a transgender man on hold because of her husband, who can't understand. But a chance encounter at a bar changes everything. Rocky sees Drake for the brown eyed handsome man he is, not the plumbing between his legs. Can Rocky convince Angela to let go of her fears and embrace life as Drake?

Sometimes the package hides the true excitement inside.

I love the work of DC Juris. I know it's always going to be something new and fresh each time. A Brown-Eyed Handsome Man is no different. The words flowed and the story snagged me within moments. By the end of the first page, I was invested in the characters and had to know more.

I admit, at first I wasn't sure I'd like Drake. Not because of who he is or what he is, but his motivations. But I quickly changed my mind. I could identify with his frustration and confusion. Everyone wants to be loved for who they are, not what they look like.

Jason was a character I wanted to see get redemption, but I loved the reason why he was the way he was. The realism stuck with me, making me think about all of the characters long after the last page.

The sex in this story is rather tame for Torquere, but the sweetness is just what the book needed. The tender touches between Rocky and Drake were great to read.

If you're in a mood for a romance that's a little off the beaten path, but worth every moment of reading, then this might be the book for you.

Street Callan wants only one thing from the sultry voluptuous woman in red heels, a night of steamy, unadulterated sex.

Na’arah Simmons has no problem submitting to Street’s seductive allure, since she shares in the attraction.

When their one night stand leaves her with an unplanned souvenir, his less than desired response will force her to move on. However, when she’s the only witness to a brutal murder, Na’arah has only Street to turn to if she wants to save herself and her unborn child.

Rue 'Street' Callan saw her as she entered the bar, there she was the woman of his dreams. He knew her because she was the masseuse that worked across the street at the spa that his uncle Auggie owned. Street had to stop getting massages from her because he was too attracted to her and did not want to embarrass himself. Yet, he could not get the feel of her hands on his body out of his mind, and there she was in a pair of hot red shoes.

Na'arah was the designated driver for her sister and her friends, a job that she took because of the red shoes her sister bribed her with. She also had an attraction to Street but couldn't understand why he stopped coming to her for his massages. Maybe he wasn't attracted to her and he didn't see her the way she would have liked him to see her.

Street Safe is a story of mutual attraction that ignites and burns hot. It also has characters that were realistic and fun, especially her sister Zee who would think nothing of pulling a knife on someone. The heat between Street and Na'arah as well as between Zee and the sheriff Miles was jumping off the page. There was also a twist when Na'arah helped his uncle Auggie and ended up being hunted by the men who were after Auggie. The only negative this reader found is that the story is not finished, it ended but on a cliffhanger. Hopefully the author will come out with the sequel and tie up all the loose ends which this reader is looking forward to. Street Safe is a good way to spend an evening, just get in your comfy chair, get a glass of wine and read.

Violence, intrigue, and passion are brewing in the craft beer world. When bitter rivals Jennifer Baxter and Sean Garrison meet, the notorious and handsome owner of Garrison Brothers Brewing stays true to form, seducing his rival at a national brewer’s convention.

Sean arrived at the convention expecting to get down to business, including his stated goal of hiring Jen away from Brick Street Brewery. But the beautiful fellow craft beer expert provides more of a distraction than he expected.

When sabotage strikes their fellow breweries, they unite to solve the mysteries. But fate and rumors brew more than beer as love, lust, jealousy, and misunderstanding collide in a way neither could have expected or anticipated.

Can they overcome the malicious chatter long enough to explore the emotion bubbling beneath the surface? Or will lust fall flat and leave them nothing but memories of the moment that slipped away?

Jen Baxter’s brewery has made a new product, Cheeky Blonde, an Imperial pale ale. At the coming out party during the National Beer festival Jen meets Sean Garrison who owns a rival brewery. Even though Jen and Sean initially barely exchange more than a dozen words she’s left with a powerful craving for him she can’t deny. When he searches her out after the party the simmering passion explodes. Their impulsive action sends shockwaves not only through the media – who are covering the conference/festivities – but also through their businesses.

This is a fast paced sexy romp of a book. Revolving around breweries, business competition and the media attention that can surround them, I found the plot different and interesting to read. The chemistry between Jen and Sean is hot and sucks you in immediately. Sean is not your typical alpha-male, though he is determined to have his cake and eat it too. Sean’s character is delightfully complex and not entirely what we’re first led to believe. Jen is more than a match for him in many respects. These two butt heads and still manage to burn up the sheets, not something that is always balanced properly, but it shines in this book.

There’s a strong cast of secondary characters, and a few sub-plots intertwined around this. Most noteworthy is Sean’s bitchy ex-wife who is a bucket load of trouble, Sean’s twin brother, Liam and Jen’s brewery partner and off-again/on-again bed buddy, Dylan. I particularly liked Dylan, who was really well rounded and a truly intriguing character. I’d love to read his story in the future. I really enjoyed reading this book and would certainly read other pieces by Ms. Crowe.

Ryanne McCall couldn’t take another season of why aren’t you married, when are you going to have kids kind of Christmas. When she sees an ad for a single’s retreat in her inbox she doesn’t need any more of an excuse to ditch the family affair.

However, she is in for a shock when she arrives at Village Resort and discovers that “home” has followed her to Colorado, in the form of Carson Rodman. Ryanne remembered Carson as the sweet, kind, skinny boy next door with the hot older brother. She never would have imagined he’d turned out to be a successful and confident man who could halt her breath with one dark, smoldering glance.

Carson and his family had never been ‘tight-knit’ and spending holidays together never formed in their plans. After a year of nursing a bad break-up he allows his best friend to convince him they should spend the holiday on the slopes picking up single snow bunnies. When he literally bumps into a woman from his past that he has never been able to get out of his wet dreams, he knows that this wonderland vacation has turned into paradise. Years ago, he missed his chance with Ryanne, but he refuses to allow her to get away again.

Ryanne McCall is the oldest of five children all of whom are married, something her mother does not let her forget. Going home for visits means having to listen to everyone talking about their children then having them look at her and saying that one day she too will have what they have. Ryanne loves her family dearly but she does not want to be the 'ninth' wheel or the odd girl out. She is happy with her job and she does long for more but for now with no prospects she is content. Her friend Mattie sent her an email about a singles mixer at a ski resort in Colorado which Ryanne promptly disgarded especially since she doesn't ski.

Carson Rodman let his friend Phillip Stifler talk him into going to a singles resort to get him out of what Phillip believed was a funk. Carson's last relationship ended a year ago and Phillip believes that Carson is still heartbroken over it, even though Carson has tried to tell him otherwise. So Carson agreed just to get Phillip to shut up, however Carson knew he would not be able to tolerate any of the giggling women they met.

Rekindling Christmas was a very enjoyable story, filled with great characters, humor, hot sex and a good premise. Carson and Ryanne always had a connection from the time they were kids and lived next door to one another. The story was well written and I really got to know the characters, their interactions or lack of interactions with their families. I especially enjoyed Phillip with his love them and leave them attitude; he had women crawling all over him which delighted him immensely. The story moved at a good pace and the characters were very well developed.

Yvette Hines is one of those writers who can reach out, grab you and take you on a journey that will leave you wanting for more. Rekindling Christmas is one of those tomes this reader was sad to see end.

Angelique needs a scandal so outrageous it will shock all of Paris, and she has managed to find the two men who will help her enact it.

In the France of Louis XIV, Angelique Beaulieu’s stepfather is forcing her to marry the aging and degenerate Marquis D’Arly.

Made desperate by the Marquis’ threats of violence, Angelique visits a notorious Parisian hôtel where patrons indulge in wild sexual adventures. There, she meets the angelic looking Christophe and his dark and brooding friend Armand. The three of them indulge in an orgy of sensual delight.

Angelique believes her actions have freed her from the Marquis...until she is abducted and learns that her connection to Christophe and Armand has become a threat to her very existence.

A Boudoir for Three is a classic tale of desperate times call for desperate measures!

We meet Angelique as her evil stepfather delivers the news that she’s to be married. Given no choice in the matter, she quickly learns that her bethrowed is a vile, evil man. After an eye opening encounter, Angelique decides no matter what it takes she will not be his next victim. Overhearing a conversation between the servants, she learns of a secret “hotel” where debauchery abounds. She stows away into the night to solve all her problems, or so she thinks.

At said hotel, she meets Christophe and Armand. The two close friends, after hearing her unfortunate circumstances, decide to aid her in her plight to lose what her evil betrothed values most, her virginity.

Christophe is your typical Prince Charming with the heart of gold while Armand is the dark, angry brooding counterpart of the duo. Christophe was very much ‘what you see is what you get’ and Armand carries ulterior motives when it comes to Angelique. When Angelique’s fortune takes a turn for the worse, the men must come to her rescue.

After reading this book, I felt as though there were things missing from the story. How did the men meet and become so close? When Angelique was away from the men, what were the men feeling and how did it change them? There was some backstory missing that could’ve helped the plot. Also, the love scenes were missing a certain connection between the three.

Ms. Ellis did do a great job of creating the desperation that Angelique felt at her unlucky hand that was dealt to her. The villains were well written and created enough emotion that you wanted to do them bodily harm. The author stayed true to the time period and some of the proclivities that typically happened then.

Overall, the book was a good read and anyone who enjoys historicals with a bit of spice, Prince Charming or a broody hero then luckily this book has it all!

One night the truth of Lorne and Antony’s relationship is revealed to Alexa, and she has a difficult choice to make. Is she willing to just let go and become their perfect third?

Reader Advisory: This story contains anal penetration, sex toys and BDSM.

Just how do two hot guys go about finding the perfect soul mate – to share!

Alexa is young and single and living in New York. She hasn’t dated for a while and is on the look out for love. So when she meets Lorne, a drop-dead-gorgeous musician, she is only to happy to enjoy a night of fun between the sheets with him. The thing is, in the morning she feels there was more than a one night stand in their destiny. So how come he doesn’t want to spend the day with her? Because, unbeknown to Alexa, Lorne does want more, but unless Antony approves of Alexa, that will never, ever happen.

The Perfect Third is a seriously sexy read. I liked all of the characters, Alexa was very real with her anxieties, Lorne a gentleman and Antony had the brooding, deep soul quality that always appeals to me. The strong bond between the two men was well portrayed and while not being in your face sexual there was a whiff of homosexuality that made me curious.

The sex scenes were off the scale raunchy, anal play being a big focus right from the word go. Lorne was particularly keen on giving Alexa’s anus lots of love, licks and kisses. Alexa enjoyed herself even though her emotions were slung about. The author did a good job of keeping me wondering how it was all going to work out for her.

As a reader I prefer character names to not start with the same letter, its easier on my eyes and brain! That’s just my preference though. But if you enjoy ménage a trois stories, the The Perfect Third is well worth a read. Hot guys, a willing girl and an ending that left me panting for more – I hope there will be!
