Samantha Hark is running from one werewolf when she ends up in the arms of two. Can she overcome her fears and insecurities to trust in the love they offer her or will her time run out as her past closes in with deadly intent?
JD and Caleb McBane aren't about to let anything or anyone stop them from claiming their mate, even if that person is Samantha herself. The mating musk may render their feisty mate pliant to their commands, but when it wears off, Samantha is back in fighting mode.
Can JD and Caleb tame Samantha before her enemies strike the killing blow?
Taming Samantha is a scorching story full of passion and fascinating characters.
Twin Alpha werewolves, JD and Caleb McBane are destined to share a mate and when JD McBane lays eyes on Samantha Hark, he knows that he has found her. However, Sam is on the run from a werewolf when she meets the twins and has no intention of getting involved with another, yet alone two. Soon the three find themselves in a battle of wills as JD and Caleb struggle to convince Sam that her resistance is futile.
JD and Caleb are interesting characters each with their own way of handling things. JD is a take-charge kind of guy while Caleb’s approach is a bit softer. Both provide an interesting contrast and complement one another quite well as they work together to convince and claim their mate. I really enjoyed their strength and their protectiveness of Sam. It is obvious that they care for her despite only knowing her a few days and when her life is threatened their protective instincts kick into overdrive as they will do anything to keep her safe.
As for Sam, she comes across as a headstrong individual who struggles with trusting men after some past incidences involving a substantial inheritance she received. She wonders if they truly want her or her money. She is definitely not the meek mate JD and Caleb were expecting and it was fun to watch them banter and butt heads throughout the story.
There is obvious chemistry between the Sam and the twins and things heat up rather quickly as the three come together. Their relationship is full of passion and heat as JD and Caleb battle with Sam and struggle to convince her to trust them. They are not above using sex and their special abilities to win her over in some scenes that will leave you speechless. The whole concept of the twins being destined to share a mate was interesting and I loved how it played out.
I really enjoyed this story and its characters. The epilogue of the story hints at the possibility of more stories to come and I can’t wait to read more from this author and series. If you like your paranormal romances extremely hot with strong characters, then you might want to read this one.
