Ash is an ordinary girl, leading an ordinary life, but behind her smile she hides a secret so damning she’s sure no one could ever love her.

Noah is a war photographer who’s come back from Afghanistan with a secret so dark he can’t escape its smothering grip.

Both need redemption. Ash looks for it by making people happy. Noah seeks it under the whip of a Dom. They’re damaged souls, drowning in guilt, unable to escape the legacies of their pasts. Then their worlds collide in an explosion of fireworks so strong it singes not only them, but those around them. It’s said love heals all wounds, but sometimes before love enters the heart, the intense fire of passion has to burn a path, lighting the way.

I giggled. I sighed. I squealed in surprise. An Ordinary Girl is one of the most compelling books I’ve read this year.

“Noah was a bad boy.”

This is the first introduction to Noah. And yes on the surface, Noah appears to be your typical bad boy. But from the first moment we meet Noah we know he is truly tortured. Everyone knows something happened while Noah was captured as a war photographer, but Noah isn’t talking. The memories are destroying him. He’s a fascinating hero who is even stronger than he thinks.

“Ash was a good girl.”

Like Noah, this is how we meet Ash. And Ash is a truly good girl through and through. But Ash’s torture is much more deeply hidden than Noah’s. She is too good to make up for her past. She tries to rescue troubled souls. She’s a beautifully giving and earnest person who truly deserves happiness. And in Noah, although he does need rescuing, she also finds someone who rescues her.

The book began by showing Ash and Noah in their own environments. Yet it’s when they meet in chapter two that the fireworks truly start. From the moment they meet, sparks fly off the page. They have a chemistry that glued me to this book. Their relationship is just spectacular. In most books, there’s normally just one damaged person and the mate is the one helping them heal and grow. In An Ordinary Girl, Ms. Elsborg breaks the rules effortlessly. Watching Ash and Noah alternately heal each other while they grow further in love is beautiful.

The supporting characters in this book were wonderful. Each played a unique part that helped enhance the story. For Noah, it’s his brother Ilya and friend Dalton. Ilya wants to run Noah’s life. Dalton is a good friend, but has ulterior motives. Ash’s roommates Ronan, Mike, and Kay are perfect fodder. Ronan has a twist in the book that made me squeal. Mike is the good guy who Ash is trying to help, but is also loyal to her. And Kay is your typical self-absorbed actress who needs everyone to build her up.

The book is truly captivating. The writing is superb. The love scenes between Ash and Noah are beautifully erotic, although some felt a bit long. The actual storyline was so absorbing, I wanted back to the story. The one M/M love scene felt pitch perfect (and I don’t read M/M normally). Noah does visit a male Dom for punishment, but this is not a sexual relationship. Nor is this a true BDSM relationship. If you are squeamish about BSDM, know that this is not a BDSM book. It is merely used as a device for Noah to find punishment.

Why is this book not a 5 or Best Book? As much as I was glued to this book the last twist was just too sensational. It went too far and hurt rather than enhanced my memory of this book.

Ms. Elsborg’s An Ordinary Girl is an incredible book. The whole time I read the book, I was thinking that her writing is a caliber above what I’m accustomed to, and how lucky I was to find her.

An ex-soldier preparing for an engineering career, Blake needs a tutor to help him catch up in his math classes. He gets more than he expected in the brilliant Jennifer. Sparks fly from the moment they meet, and though Blake suspects Jennifer can’t handle his kinky tastes, he can’t resist her. She could benefit from the discipline he offers but neither of them is sure she could live the lifestyle permanently—and anything less isn’t an option for Blake.

Jennifer has been partying and playing it loose through her entire college experience, until she meets Blake. There is something about Blake and his solemn expression that intrigues her, so Jennifer decides to make it her mission to get even a semblance of a smile from him.

Blake is what you expect any man who spent six years in the service during wartime to be like. He has lost his playfulness and joy in life. The author does a great job demonstrating how his past plays such a large role in the present. Little things like loud noises having him on edge really add a nice touch to the story and help me to understand more about Blake. It really allowed me to connect with Blake on numerous levels and truly appreciate his character.

I like the dynamics of Jennifer and Blake’s relationship. I think that her lighthearted whimsy pairs very well with his sober personality. It really helps with the relationship develop as well as their individual development. Each can learn something from one another -- something other than how to use ropes and paddles in the bedroom.

The BDSM aspect of this story is a strong one. The “play” is a large part of the relationship, especially in the bedroom. While I found myself wrapped up into the scenes, in many parts of the story some aspects of the BDSM play seemed a bit implausible to me. For example, Jennifer’s punishment was something that she actually enjoyed. It just seemed that in a true BDSM relationship Blake would have found a different punishment and used that particular action as a reward. Then again, part of the allure of the BDSM lifestyle is partners can be whatever they want.

This is a story I would recommend to a numerous types of readers, from those who enjoy BDSM, to those who thrive on happy-ever-after.

Leaving his boyfriend behind in San Francisco, cowboy and struggling artist Jeff Connelly returns to the family ranch after his father’s death and meets the man who will become a large part of his future: ranch hand Mike Guidry. Mike starts out cynical, bitter, and very unfriendly, but he warms to Jeff when he realizes Jeff just might be the friend he needs.

Life on the ranch is as hard as Jeff remembers: he has to deal with cattle rustling and the stress of hoping the business will break even while he weathers changes in attitude from the locals, harassment, prejudice, and betrayal. Jeff and Mike will embark on a plan to secure the ranch’s future, try to find a way to live and love together, and discover that they’re more alike than they’d ever have dreamed.

There’s just no getting past it; first and foremost, this is a love story! One that will linger and replay on your mind, when you least expect it…

I love that I related to Jeff and Mike. These two hot cowboys and the problems they faced were realistic. Those problems require solutions, there are compromises that have to be made, conflicts to face, plans that may need changing and on top of all that, a ranch to run. Their personal attitudes and ideals, past experiences and how it influences their present and any future they make together, is tested. As the title suggests, they are in many ways, two sides of the same coin but from vastly different backgrounds and experiences. For Mike, confronting those demons and accepting his sexual preference and the man he’s become, is huge!

I really liked that the attraction and their eventual coming together is a gradual thing. Jeff is still in a relationship in the beginning and though it’s been going sour for some time, he’s not into jumping into bed with the first guy that gives him the eye. It’s so satisfying ‘watching’ as these two feel the power of their attraction for one another. How it builds and builds continually until they can no longer deny how they feel and making love is the ultimate expression. They’re men. More, they’re cowboys, rough and tough, strong and capable, so it’s even more thrilling to watch a love tender, new and a little scary, bring these boys to their knees. It makes the characters all the more real because of it. You can’t help but identify with them and hope that they have what it takes to make a future together.

There’s friendship, camaraderie, danger, murder and mayhem, especially when cattle rustlers threaten the very viability of the ranch and the lives of those living there. It’s about ‘sticking together,’ helping each other through the tough; building solid foundations and strengthening the bonds of friendship. It’s about courage. Courage to grab and hold onto something real and precious, even when there’s fear you might be wrong, yet finding the courage and strength to do it anyway. It’s about intolerance and injustice; prejudice resulting from fear and hatred, how those challenges define and direct the characters and the choices they make. Last but not least, it’s a story that reminds us, that life is a journey. A journey, that if we’re really lucky and want it bad enough, we might just get to share it with someone who makes us complete.

Jake Mactire brings this story to life with an affinity you can’t help but empathize and relate to. He draws you in with a subtlety that will make you grin -when you realize you’re half way through it and wondering where the time went! It’s simple in it’s message yet well told and sincere. As my first gay romance, I had no idea how I’d feel about the explicit sex. I found it sensual, erotic enough to burn down the house and convincing. It was love and that’s always beautiful in my book! Don’t miss this gem!

Laird Magnus Sutherland loves women. His prowess in the bedchamber has earned him the name Devil of Dunrobin, but no woman has ever stirred his heart. Magnus needs to provide his clan with an heir, which is the only reason he agrees to marry the neighboring chieftain’s sister. When his betrothed arrives, he discovers the chieftain has two sisters. If Magnus must bind himself to one woman, he intends to discover which is best suited to be his wife, for he wants more than a body to plant his seed. He wants a mate for life.

There are three reasons Lady Effie Reay refuses to vie for Laird Sutherland’s affections…

For one, she is thirty-two and would surely lose a competition to her beautiful, younger sister. Secondly, Laird Sutherland is a well-reputed rake, and she holds no desire to wed another faithless man. And thirdly, the sight of him makes her tingle, shiver and ache.

Will Effie be successful in thwarting Magnus’s advances, or will her body succumb to a temptation that can only lead to heartbreak?

The Devil of Dunrobin, Highland Warrior and Laird has finally met his match!

To choose between two such stunning sisters as Vanna and Effie, to be his Lady Sutherland, should be simplicity itself. Yet if his Mother, and her brother have their way, it will be to the younger, lush, black-haired beauty, to whom Magnus has been betrothed to for the last six months, that he’ll wed. But when the elder red-haired, green-eyed sister catches his eye too, Magnus decides he will not be rushed, that he’ll take time to get to know them both before making his choice.

Too many around him have a secret agenda and seek to force their will upon the Laird. Battle scarred he may be but he hasn’t lived this long or come thus far without trusting his own instincts. Love will find a way. And so is when two wounded souls find like heart to like heart and nothing on earth seems capable of tearing them asunder. But a choice was already made and consequences are nothing if not ironic. With a twist that will leave you gasping at the frustration and futility of a fate that will not be thwarted, all appears lost.

From the fabulous characters that vividly spring to life upon the pages, merrily grab your hand and skip off to take you with them on their journey through time. To the telling, that will have you soar with the passions and their hope for new beginnings and bleed from the heart, for those left shattered and broken. Can there be a happy ending? And how can all that, possibly be expressed so well, in a mere 74 pages? A real gem of a story that will leave you on a high and no doubt wishing for a Highland Devil of your own to tame! Thanks Kimberley Killion! Brilliant!

Sometimes a woman needs more than a lover…

Independent, lustful ladies find pleasure and intrigue with more than one man, from a scandalous vacation in Australia, to a forced seduction at a cabin in the woods. A witch needs to break a shameful spell, and an older woman slakes her sexual needs with two younger men. Cougars purr with unrequited desire and werewolves compete for the love of their mate. Satisfaction is just a sigh away as a surgeon bends the rules for her patient, and an over-stressed boss finds more than a little peace with secret admirers.

Find out what wicked delights await you with Indecent Encounters.

There is something for everyone in this ménage anthology. Whether your tastes run from a simple threesome to a group, strangers to long-term friends, very private to sex on the street, this book has a little something for you. The caveat is that you probably will not enjoy each and every story in this book, but you may find something new to interest you.

Raw Amarinda Jones
Possibly the most “shocking” story in the collection, this story incorporates the main female character with up to five men. There is plenty of violence as well as oral sex, sex in public, and plenty of voyeurism. There is also one scene that includes some M/M interaction. This story has lots of sex and lets the reader know how Poppy is feeling when faced with the multiple sexual opportunities she is given. Not for the faint of heart, but worth reading at least once.

Taken by Three Delilah Hunt
Starting out as revenge at Herb Walker for wrongly putting Ryder Lawson in jail, three brothers plot to steal Evie, his daughter. Kidnapped, being used as their sexual slave, and having no one to miss her, Evie deals with the new experience of being held captive, being shared, and enjoying the new experience. There are plenty of tender moments to counteract the anger and rough sex. There are also several M/F love scenes to complement the times when the brothers all take their turns. This story also has its romance story ending, making it a sexy romantic read.

Post Op Erin O’Riordan
A romantic story with a hot three-way thrown in for good measure. After performing back surgery, Maggie finds herself oddly attracted to her patient and his male lover. After trying to distance herself from them, she finds herself at their apartment watching a basketball game with their friends. Things heat up when their friends leave. Maggie gets an insight into their relationship and gets a taste of both of them. It does not stand out as a story, but gets interest from the conflict of sleeping with a patient as well as joining an existing m/m relationship.

The Birthday Surprise Pepper Anthony
My favorite story of the bunch. The sex (despite involving three people) isn’t particularly sizzling, and the plot got a bit confusing when they went to the shower (I still can’t figure out who was doing what!). However, despite that, this is the story that sticks in my head, and the story I keep going back to. The concept of being “serviced” by your lawn boy is exciting enough, but add to that the fact it was Melanie’s 40th birthday and the feel-good factor jumps by a factor of 10. If you are ready to take your inner romantic out for a naughty little stroll, this is the story for you!

Admired Ashlyn Monroe
Setting up our heroine as a strong, successful career woman, the author begins to show the reader the dichotomy of Cora succumbing to a Dominant/submissive relationship. Not only that, but a relationship that includes the dominant’s friend for some partner sharing and voyeurism. The story reveals how the dominant watching Cora and used covert methods to contact her for the first time. Lots of sexual tension and subterfuge keep your interest throughout this story.

Waking the Lioness Tessa Morelock
As suggested by the title, this is a shape-shifter story. Set in New Orleans, and traveling to the bayou, it adds an almost exotic quality to the plot. Lara comes into contact with her ex who is looking for his missing current lover, both of whom are also shapeshifters. Finding Caleb’s lover wounded in the bayou leads to erotic scenes and some three-way action that precipitates Tate’s healing. A departure from the previous stories, but nicely written and entertaining.

Do It Fur Love Melissa Hosack
Totally unbelieveable and a completely fantastic vehicle for hot sex and a three-way relationship. Vanessa is in a car accident and is found and saved by friends Brenn and Dihn. After finding they couldn’t get her back to civilization for a few days, Brenn and Dihn offer her a chance to recouperate and the sparks start to fly. After learning they are both werewolves, Vanessa allows herself to follow through on the heat between herself and both guys, which eventually leads to some three way action. But will there be a happy ending?

The Problem With Love Spells Angelina Rain
When witch Gretchen runs out of ingredients for her anti-love spell, and she can’t run to the local potion shop to pick them up, she sets out to collect them on her own. Unfortunately, the wolf and bat she collected from decided to take revenge. Fortunately, the wolf was actually a werewolf and the bat a vampire. And they decided to take revenge of a sexual nature. While not normally my cup of tea, this sets the stage for some hot 3-way “revenge” and sets the scene for the story resolution in a satisfactory manner.

There is a little something for everyone in this anthology. It starts out with the most rough and violent and ends with a light-hearted paranormal romp with some good old-fashioned fantasy stories in between. Pick and choose, or read it straight through, but if you are looking for a good read to keep you busy, pick up this anthology and enjoy!

John Kent wants Ellen, not just as an incredible submissive lover,
as his wife.

But to do that, he has to convince fiercely independent Ellen Forsythe that giving up her single state will be more than worth the sacrifice. Not an easy job. But John isn’t a man to waver or give up when he has a goal in sight—and Ellen is firmly in his sights.

Love on the rocks. Literally. Ancient ruins, sea, rocks, salty air, the cry of gulls. Lots of hot and touchingly romantic sex, both in and out of doors. Creative use of toys. Sound interesting to you? Look no further!

I really liked Ellen. She was intelligent and sympathetic. I loved when she says of a man who is not her Dom: “If he was one of those Dominants who thought all subs should kneel to him, he was in for a shock.” She won me over right then and there.

This is the story of John Kent, the mysterious, dark Dom of the circle of BDSM lifestyle friends from Oh’s other stories such as Power Exchange and Power Play. He’s strong Dom who cares deeply about the pleasure of his sub. John works hard at wooing Ellen. In turn, Ellen gives him total respect and adoration.

The conflict between John and Ellen is believable and moving. The search for love after the loss of a dear love and then the fear of moving too quickly and losing it. Ms. Oh does a fabulous job of portraying all the angst. This is real BDSM, not for the faint of heart. But Ellen loves what John does to her, everyone here is willing. There’s a focus on sharing pleasure and deep emotion here that’s refreshing. A strong Dom is not afraid of loving a strong-minded sub. While I am on the subject, it was also refreshing to have a strong-minded sub that was settled into her submission and didn’t act out in bratty outbursts.

I loved the descriptions of the ancient ruins on Goose Island. It leans a very haunting and beautiful tone to the story.

If you enjoy lifestyle BDSM romances with deep emotion and a heavy layering of romance, then you’ll surely enjoy this one.

After a disastrous blind date, Ellie Bradley enjoys dessert and hot kisses with a mysterious waiter, who turns out to be wealthy Russian businessman Rylek Sidarov.

Rylek, Alpha of three vulfen clans, was waiting tables as a favor to his chef uncle. He never thought he would find his fated mate in the human world, but there is no mistaking Ellie’s intoxicating scent. At the end of a blazing encounter, danger looms and Rylek goes against his strong vulfen instinct to send Ellie away unclaimed for her own safety. Unable to give her up, Rylek offers Ellie a choice to accept him and be his beloved mate—or never see him again.

Discovering a mate is a gift for Ellie and Rylek both, but human hunters, a vulfen traitor and the complications of navigating a new culture all conspire to threaten their new mating bond and their lives.

This story has the perfect balance of emotion, personal drama and delightful surprises to make this a romance worth spending time with.

I really could get into this story because of the author’s voice. I liked her personable style of writing as well as how she blended the cultures of her world building. Some might say the conflict is kind of predictable because there are always traditionalists and prejudice that refuse change, but I liked how the author handled it by introducing surprise twists for the characters. It wasn’t that huge of a shock for me because I caught a few hints but I sure enjoyed suspecting something the heroine didn’t. Not only that but its revelation made the dramatic confrontation all the more entertaining and interesting because of how Ms. Kenney had the heroine react to it.

Another thing I was impressed with was the author’s maximizing each chapter with just what I needed to make keep me committed to the story. Even though the hero and heroine fall in love fast, there were enough details and depth shared in every section to make each step believable. In addition, the ending of one chapter teased me with enough new information that I couldn’t help but keep reading so I could find out more. With momentum like that, it didn’t take me long to read this book at all.

I adored the heroine, Ellie. She’s sweet and personable yet she’s lonely. Her heart is searching for it knows not what but it certainly knew it wasn’t the dweeb in the beginning of the book. I got the greatest kick out of how Ms. Kenney had Ellie meeting her future love. How I wish hunky waiters abounded at my local eateries. I also like the light resistance that she posed to the changes in her life. She didn’t let them overwhelm her or let them take on lives of their own. The heroine had her doubts, thought about them, tested the waters, adjusted and considered her options, and then stuck with what she believed was the right thing to do. All good qualities in a heroine. I also enjoyed her giving nature and how important that was to the story. In fact, her natural instincts are key in how the happily ever after gets played out.

Rylek is way cool. Here’s this tough alpha shifter who basically holds the weight of the world on his shoulders and pretty much accepted he’d never find love, and in walks Ellie. Again, Ms. Kenney’s writing brought it all to life. I swooned over his growly nature, his viewpoints on the heroine’s Marilyn Monroe-like figure, and his view on the relationship of women and food. I thought his stilted and formal method of speech very old world and telling. It made his character unique and rounded because it was Rylek. No one else could pull it off as well as he could. It also showed me just how much he needed Ellie in his life. Nothing illustrated that best as when he reacted to whenever he thought his mate was in danger. His dialogue, his vows, his very being was oh, so romantic that I just melted. Rylek is a wonderful hero.

Secondary characters abound and are really cool in and of themselves. I liked his cousins, all of them. I liked his aunt and uncle and how pivotal they were at one point. There’s one scene with hands that is powerful and beautiful and it gave me happy goose bumps. It worked for me.

The villain acting out was expected but I didn’t know when or how. Ms. Kenney presented an interesting and diabolical plot against the heroine and hero and I was thrilled with how it was resolved.

I sigh in satisfaction with well written growly heroes who bite, nibble and make a heroine nearly pass out from expert and enthusiastic love making and Rylek is all that and more. I liked every single one of those hot and passionate scenes and the author placed them at strategic positions throughout the book. There are well described emotions and sentiments that hook a reader as well, which enhanced my reading experience and kept me involved in the story.

Vulfen Alpha’s Mate hit all my happy buttons by delivering a truly romantic story with characters I enjoyed watching fall in love. The overall sense of this story is upbeat and positive and when it ended, I was feeling relaxed and satisfied. I had a great time reading this book and thank Ms. Kenney for a charming experience. Okay, so I needed an ice cube or two – what’s a little melted water when the writing is that fun? Check out Vulfen Alpha’s Mate and see.

A taste of the forbidden…

Georgiana Talbot intends to remain a spinster in order to ensure her younger sisters debut and find husbands. A touch of the taboo…

Seducing the haute ton’s premier modiste into buying linen from his mills is foremost on Blane MacLaren’s mind. Georgiana Talbot is the premier modiste to the ton and firmly on the shelf by her own design. She has four younger sisters that she’s determined to see married and settled. Thanks to an outdated law of primogeniture she and her female relatives are left practically destitute until Georgiana takes matters and fashion plates into her own talented hands. With help of a clever assistant and some well dressed ladies, Georgiana’s designs are all the rage. Georgiana’s plans are quickly and irrevocably thrown off course when Blane MacLaren, Lord Lockerbie, makes a proposal she’s helpless to refuse.

This time period is truly unique to all other eras. The way they dressed, danced, talked and the rules…there are rules for everything. Step back in time with author Debra Glass and enjoy the sweet tension filled courtship of Georgiana and Blane. But don’t tell them they’re in a relationship, it’s just for show and they don’t even like each other…mostly.

Ms. Glass has a beautifully vivid writing style that brings the reader right into the scene whither it is on a crowded ballroom in London or the peaceful shores of Loch Dungeon. The story moves at comfortable and natural pace that will keep you engaged from the beginning to end. The dialogue is spot on for the time period including our hero’s Scottish dialect. There are a couple of funny situations that keep the story light even as you watch the tension and attraction between Georgiana and Blane grow. All this leads up to a truly satisfying conclusion to their story that will touch your heart and leave a smile on your face.

Ms. Glass has a love for history that shines through her writing. If you crave a fantastic Regency romance with a side of steamy BDSM heat, you will love Slave to Fashion. A fabulous story that easily earned a five cherry rating.

Jack has a problem. He just awoke after a night of wild sex…with a man. His libido is on the rampage and threatens his dream of an NFL career. Desperate for a solution, he turns to Tawny, the love of his life, and asks her to become his wife and his Mistress—to curb and control his overactive sex drive.

Though leery of the BDSM scene, Tawny agrees. Jack will become her sex slave and she’ll keep him in chastity, his cock caged and totally hers to command. They relish their new roles. Jack’s NFL career leads them to Rebels’ Roost, a safe place where they can play out any BDSM fantasy they want and safely satisfy Jack’s bisexual desires. They plan to introduce a permanent third into their sex games. But, does Jack still want that, or is Tawny’s love all he really needs?

Take a walk on the wild side and a peek into the preferred lifestyle of a rich and famous NFL player. Who’d have thought ‘golden boy’ Jack Winters, with the dream career, would need a cock cage to control a raging libido, a need to be dominated and a lust to use and abuse his team-mates, in the most wicked of ways possible...

Never comfortable with his bisexual cravings, Jack realizes after an encounter, that his sexual needs could effectively end his career before it ever becomes a reality. Only with the help of the woman he loves, who agrees to master and marry him, does Jack see an end to his torment. Although Tawny is not a natural Domme, she readily accepts her role and soon learns to appreciate it in all its many and varied nuances. But it’s the love between the two of them that’s almost palpable, and the complete trust they each have in the other, that makes this story shine. Only Jack’s continued need for a male third for him to top could possibly threaten what they already have.

Enter Ty Daily, another NFL player a man with an attitude and a secret desire, to be the bottom Jack hungers for. How Jack, Tawny and Ty handle a possible relationship, the discoveries they all make along the way, about themselves and each other, makes for an interesting and entertaining read. It’s deep and emotional. It’s complicated and there are others involved and always the threat that real secrets may inadvertently be uncovered and spell the end of their careers. It’s an incredibly moving story about love and the expression of it, through domination and submission.

Ann Jacobs writes with heart. Her characters are everyday people, who find themselves in extraordinary circumstances and dealing with a reality, which for many of us, lies in the shadows. It’s a fascinating adventure that begs further exploration and in Ms. Jacobs’ capable hands, delivers.

Annie is the practical schoolteacher with a secret sex life and Tom is the television heartthrob who is also a submissive to his “boss”. Annie is the nice girl next door type who likes to be spanked and ordered around by her strong Dom lover, Mark. She’s intelligent, a bit introverted but has a slumbering sensuality and highly responsive submissive sexuality that charms the men and women of her sexual circle.

The sexy friendship and attraction between Tom and Annie is well developed, spicy and sweet at the same time. I enjoyed this part of the story very much. Those with a history fetish will love their role-play session.

If you’re looking for a classical romance type story, you may not be satisfied with this short story. But if you’re into just some sexy fun, then you’ll love it.

Rosemary is a firecracker, the one who completes them. Wes and Evan have loved this fierce little ebony-haired beauty since kindergarten, even when she’s being a spoiled-rotten brat. The brothers still adore Rosemary now that she’s a woman, but Evan has issues. Her mouth gets her in trouble, Evan’s temper gets him in trouble, and even tempered Wes is always caught in the middle.

Rosemary won’t tolerate Evan’s controlling ways, especially when he threatens to spank her. Why can’t Rosemary just do as Evan tells her, especially when it’s for her own good? Wes spends his time making peace, when he’d rather make love. They bring out the worst in each other, and hurt Wes in the process. She won’t give up because they’re also magical together, when they manage to get along! Add in a hot spanking, a fit of temper, and something’s gonna have to give.

Is it possible to go home again...even if you never left? How about rolling the clock back a few years and undoing the biggest mistake of your life? If it could be done the possibilities would be endless.

Rosemary and the Garner brothers, Wade and Evan, grew up together, went through school together and have loved each other for their entire lives. Rosemary's plans to maintain her innocence and make them a family when they were finished with school is only an arm’s length away but Evan just cannot wait anymore. He makes the biggest mistake of his life, disappointing Rosemary and Wade not to mention how much he is kicking himself. They say time heals all wounds and maybe enough time has passed for this trio to make that final leap and set their lifelong path.

Rosemary is faced with all the pros and cons of living an alternative lifestyle in a small town, as well as running into narrow minded beliefs in other places too! But the support of her two men makes it all worthwhile. Their relationship is dedicated, fun and totally steaming hot. It shows never to underestimate the power of a determined woman. Rosemary is bound and determined to have the life she has always dreamed of even in the face of some really dumb moves by the men she loves.

Rosemary's story is the 4th installment of the Divine Creek Ranch Saga. Though the story includes past characters and blends them in seamlessly, it stands alone quite well. What an interesting and exciting place to live. Heather Rainier brings to life the ups and downs, good and bad, expected and unexpected and love and tolerance for any type of relationship.

This is such a fun story to be a part of and experience the trials and tribulations of living with not just one man but two. Grab a copy of this, sit back, turn on the fan and enjoy!

The key to sun, sand, and sin is total surrender…

Hot in the City, Book 3

Carrie Marsh is on her Key West honeymoon—alone. After discovering her fiancé fooling around with a bridesmaid on her wedding day, she figures the trip will help her clear her head and move on. But she doesn’t expect inspiration to appear in the form of a tan, sexy boat captain ready to introduce her to the island’s legendary, free-spirited debauchery.

Carrie isn’t the first beach bunny that hard-working, harder-playing Chris McCann has partied with, but peeling away her innocence to find her inner bad girl affects him like no one has before. Her sexual awakening burns hotter than the Key West sun, melting his resistance and incinerating any hope he has of keeping their relationship casual.

All too soon, Carrie’s return to reality is a plane ride away and neither of them is ready for the fantasy to end. But Carrie has a business to return to, and Chris’s livelihood is on the island. And besides, Carrie is just beginning to recover from the wedding that wasn’t, and Chris isn’t a settling-down kind of guy. So it only makes sense to leave the sun, sand, and sensuality of the island behind. But can she walk away from her hedonistic week with Chris without looking back?

This book is Hot, Hot, Hot!

The opening starts like many romance stories: jilted bride goes on honeymoon anyway, and decides to have a good time. Where it goes from there is the realm of Lacey Alexander’s very fertile imagination. There is a little bit of something for everyone in this book. At its heart, it is a m/f romance, but Carrie decides to “relax” and try new experiences, so the reader is treated to encounters including all varieties and combinations of partners.

I enjoyed the fact that while Carrie was on vacation, Chris and his friends all worked, and plans had to be made around their work schedules. This made it seem a bit more realistic. I also enjoyed the fact that they visited the Hemmingway museum. Not only did it add depth to Carrie’s character, it also provided a “respite” from the almost constant sex.

In fact, if I have a negative comment about this story, it is the amount of sex in the book. At times, it almost seems too much, and I looked forward to the sections of the story where Carrie was worrying about her feelings for Chris and what she would do when she went home. It also would have been nice if I could have put the book down from time to time, in order to give myself a little break from the constant sexual interactions. Having said that, I need to add – what a problem to have!

This book is NOT for the faint of heart. However, if you want a story that is so hot you need to put your e-reader down for fear of it spontaneously combusting - download it today!
