When fun-loving, social butterfly Calvin Reece moves in with the cute but shy Tom Holden, he doesn't expect anything to come of it but friendship. In fact, his plan is to give Tom a makeover and find him a boyfriend, because Tom's such a nice guy it's just not right that he's alone. As Cal gets to know Tom better, he learns that under the ill-fitting clothes there's a gorgeous body and a kind, generous heart, and Cal starts to feel something new...

What do they have in common? Only that they've never been in love. But that may all be about to change.

What is confirmed bachelor Cal to do when he meets the one man that could flip his whole world upside down and inside out? With a little bit of patience and a whole lot of luck maybe Cal can find out what all his friends are talking about when it comes to finding the one.

Accidentally in Love was truly a beautiful love story. It shows the gradual build of a relationship between two men who are such polar opposites it isn’t even funny. When pairing up a man who doesn’t believe in love and one who thinks he’s unlovable, the misunderstandings and over thinking come out in full force.

Cal is a photographer who jets sets around the world for his job. Like his job, his love life is the same. A little fun here, a little fun there, but when the deed is done he can’t get away fast enough. He’s not a man looking for love or anything of a relationship that lasts longer than a quick roll in the hay. But what makes this character so great is he falls for the last man he ever would have noticed, and from there starts the journey to become the kind of man Tom could love and spend the rest of his life with. Cal comes to find out you have to work hard for the things you want most in life, and getting Tom is turning out to be his biggest challenge yet.

Tom is a shy guy. He displays the typical behavior of a person picked on and put down throughout his life. So it’s only natural for him to question Cal’s feelings with everything that happens between them. At times I wanted to shake Tom because he is his own worst enemy. His self-confidence is so low it is just heart wrenching that he thinks he is so not worthy of anyone’s love or affection.

This story has its ups and downs but the outcome is so worth it in the end. It’s a good mix of the ugly duckling and the bad boy turned good. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a longer read with a lot of; "what were they thinking?" And, how cute two people can be together.

This story left me with a smile on my face and I feel lucky to have gotten to read it.

Fired from the job she so desperately needs, Andy Jones is shocked to find a wallet stuffed full of cash. It belongs to none other than Alexander Ioannou, millionaire extraordinaire, and the man responsible for her firing.

Alexander comes looking for the woman he suspects of misappropriating not only his funds, but his grandmother's ring. He's shocked to find it’s the woman who has been haunting his dreams.

Rather than turn her in, Alexander thinks of more interesting ways for Andy to pay back her debt…

Andy Jones has met with some misfortune and was working two jobs, until she gets fired from one by her boss, Alexander Ioannou.

At first this story seemed to have lots of clichés: down on her luck poor girl meets billionaire, for instance. However, the author gave it some twists that I liked. She did a top notch job introducing us to Andy. We’re plunged into the story of where she’s working…in a gourmet food store. The description was great and I really felt like I was there with Andy. You learn that she is working two jobs and can sympathize with her when she’s tired and accidently falls asleep on the job. She’s caught red handed by the hero, Alex, who comes across as sexy and yes, you like him despite the fact that he fires poor Andy.

Trouble seemed to follow her everywhere. For example, his wallet, which contained his grandmother’s ring, falls into her purse and then Andy getting mugged. Alex is her knight in shining armor and I liked the idea of the ring and that his grandmother left it to him for the sole purpose of giving it to the woman of his dreams. I knew that person was Andy, but the ring being lost put me on edge and made me want to read more.

The two characters came across as real people who had at last found one another. Andy is a modern girl and very likeable so you’re glad she wins over this prince charming. The dialogue between these two was great. This is 131 pages but pacing is brisk so you can finish it in an hour or two. I also liked the secondary characters in this story and thought Alex’s friend definitely deserves a story all his own.

If you’re looking for a Cinderella type story with lots of sexy scenes, this will be a perfect read for you.

It’s time for an indulgence, or two…or three.

Bandicoot Cove, Book 1

There’s something magical about Bandicoot Cove. It’s where Kylie Sullivan’s dream of managing a luxury, five-star resort is about to come true. And it’s where people tend to fall in love. Kylie should know. She’s fallen hard—for three very different men.

There’s Brad, who knows just how to relieve her stress and send her body on a crash course through pleasure. Hemi, her untamed Maori, who awakens her primitive side. And Finn, the sexy bartender whose specialty is Screaming Orgasms.

The three men fulfill all her sexual fantasies, but Kylie knows reality will eventually set in and she’ll have to choose. But how? For now she decides not to decide—at least until she makes sure the resort’s soft opening comes off without a hitch.

As far as Brad, Hemi and Finn are concerned, Kylie’s life is too much work and not enough play. The only choice they plan to give her is to say yes to their wildly passionate proposal…

Pack your bags and hop the next flight to the beautiful island Paradise of Bandicoot Cove, where indulgence isn’t optional, it’s inescapable.

Kylie Sullivan has a dilemma, one that most women can merely dream about. Three men, gorgeous and totally delicious men, fulfill her every need and then some. The problem: How long can it last? How long will they allow her to continue without forcing her to choose? Choose? What a silly word!!

Take three amazing writers of some of today’s sexiest romance and give them the chance to write four stories that overlap and are intertwined and you have a recipe for one sensational series. Did I mention the whole thing takes place at a fabulous resort in Australia? *sigh* These stories won me over on that detail alone. Okay, so maybe it helped that the writers are all super talented and each novella has an interesting and unique premise.

This first story sets the stage for the other three. Readers are not only treated to a tour of the grounds of Bandicoot Cove via Kylie’s inspection walk before the soft opening, but everywhere she goes it seems one of her men are determined to show her the hidden pleasures of the island. Don’t expect a lot of background to Kylie, Brad, Hemi and Finn’s story because it just isn’t there. And that was fine by me because in this short story I was more interested in where they are now and what was in store for their future.

Kylie is a fun character to read. She’s responsible, mature and level headed about everything…except the men. But who can blame a girl for not wanting to choose between three men that are so different and yet so focused and in tune to a single woman. Thankfully, Brad, Hemi and Finn have a plan that will leave Kylie breathless and guaranteed to singe your e-reader.

If you need a quick escape to an island getaway then Exotic Indulgence is your ticket. All four books in the series are out, so now is the perfect time to get your feet wet with Exotic Indulgence. These stories are not to be missed if you enjoy ménage as each one focuses on men that share and women that hate to choose!

Police officer Gabriel Carter refuses to walk away from an assignment without seeing it through. So when he goes into deep cover as a male prostitute named Ty, he intends to do everything in his power to see his case to an arrest. He seduces his mark, Demetrius Prado, the second most powerful man in Las Vegas and a human trafficker, but the man is nothing like he expected.

The more Gabriel learns about Demetrius, the more twists and turns are thrown his way in the convoluted case leading to Demetrius’s rival, Arden, and beyond. It’s a case of mistaken identities and layer after layer of trumped-up cover stories, and Gabriel is sure there’s no way he’ll ever be able to trust Demetrius with his life… much less with his heart.

These people “are nothing but produce. You wouldn’t cry for lettuce, would you?”

You won't find a cop show on Prime Time TV as hot as Undercover Sins, where lust was a normal human behavior; human trafficking, OCD and germs all play into this high action plot. There is nothing that falls into place like you expect. I found it extremely hard to put the book down. Being my first true suspense story I was always waiting to see what was around the next corner. I can understand now why so many people enjoy this type of genre and could become hooked myself if they are all like this book.

I must confess that I took this book to review without any idea what it was about. I could have checked out the blurb or excerpt but I wanted to go in blind and let the excitement build as the author meant it to. For the first few chapters I was confused as to how the book could be classified as an erotic romance and wondered how Ms. James was going to add that thing called love into the plot. I mean it’s hard to see romance with an undercover cop acting as a male prostitute to bring down a human trafficking organization, only to end up as a pet to a monster.

“The trafficking business was disgusting, but to stop a monster”, you become one. This was how many cops look at life undercover. Ty (Gabriel Carter) was willing to do anything to bring down Demetrius Pardo, all he needed was for Demetrius to take him home for a night. From there the story was like nothing I had expected and I didn’t know who the good guys were and who the bad guys were. Violence and death makes Demetrius and Lee, his body guard, seem like a horrible excuses for humans. I was not sure if Demetrius was a horrible jerk but I do know I have no nails left to bite after reading this story. The whole time I kept wondering just who the hell he was and if Ty/Gabriel would be the same cop after going undercover.

The plot was a deadly cat and mouse game with many players, where being so deep undercover could cause a slip in sanity, and this only added more depth to the story. I was torn between wanting to savor the suspense forever, and wanting to reach the end to see if the tale ended happily. This book kept me on my toes and until the end. I was not sure which of the characters I liked and which ones I didn’t. Nothing seemed to happen as I thought it would.

This book is definitely full of good and bad perversion, lots of anxiety, and an unbelievable ending that made me anxious to find more books by Ms. James.

Finn has been fighting his feelings for his trainer Raven since arriving at the Sons of Thanatus compound. Raven is attractive, strong, and completely unattainable. On the night of their friends Josh and Madden’s wedding, Raven finally gives Finn a clear sign that he, too, is interested. The night is heavenly until Finn realizes Raven’s feelings for him are only casual.

Left feeling used, Finn tries to ignore his still growing attraction to Raven. The men must work together on a mission to recruit a member of Finn’s old unit, and sharing his body with a man who wants only a bed buddy is breaking his heart.

When Raven’s cold treatment of him hits a new low, Finn is crushed, and he decides he and Raven need a clean—and final—break. Will Raven let him go, or will his facade finally crumble in the face of Finn’s departure?

Sometimes we think we know someone, until we find out he or she is a complete and utter jerk. Well imagine Finn’s surprise when he finds out that the man of his dreams is just that. Finn thought Raven felt the same way he did and they could have a relationship just to find out Raven is only interested in sex. As devastated as Finn is, he needs to either accept Raven how he is or give up on the man of his dreams.

Raven was a character I could relate to. He is kind and caring to others but, he has a hard time getting emotionally attached. While this is a defensive measure that many people take, it can make them miss opportunities to really find someone who cares about them, and that they can care about in turn. While I seem a lot of myself in Raven, his character gave me hope that if he can get past is emotional barriers than maybe I can do the same, as well as others out there with the same problem.

At moments, I absolutely adored Finn’s character and at others, I just did not understand him. Clearly, the marines taught him to be a great and fearless leader, taking charge of his men and helping guide them through life’s problems. I saw him as this strong, masculine male when he was leading, but when it came to Raven he just seemed like a scared little boy, and it was hard to imagine they were the same character. At some points, I just wanted to tell him to man-up and deal with his problems with Raven directly. I was happy when he found a balance and stuck up for himself when it came to Raven.

One character that I could not get enough of in this story was Josh. He may not have been a main character, but he was by far the most entertaining. His antics had me laughing aloud and anticipating the next time he would show up in the story.

Another thing I really enjoyed in this story was the subplot with Finn and his group joining the Sons of Thanatus. It really let me see more characters as well as get a better understanding of who the main characters are. While this storyline was a little baffling to me at first in regards to who and what the Sons of Thanatus are, I quickly caught on and was deeply entertained. The subplot also allowed me to be introduced to the supporting characters that I cannot wait to see in future stories. A very enjoyable read.

In a game played on and off the field, only one of them will emerge the winner.

Armed with an uncanny ability for evaluating football talent, a dogged determination to succeed in a man’s world, and an empty bank account, Rachel McCormick agrees to help struggling wide receiver Derek Ramsey get his game back. Rachel believes Derek, her former best friend and lover, knows the truth behind the points-shaving scandal which ruined her father. She vows to expose the secret even if it destroys Derek in the process.

When Derek’s coach suggests sex as an excellent tension reliever the night before a game, Rachel takes one for the team. The next day, Derek has the best performance of his not-so illustrious pro football career. As Derek and Rachel rack up nights in bed and other places, the team racks up wins on the field. Rachel is torn between her loyalty to her father and her growing affection for Derek.

Now it’s fourth and goal, one second left on the clock. Their hearts are on the line. Do they trust each other enough to go for the long bomb or do they get dropped for a loss?

Fourth and Goal is a hold your breath, heart pounding, gut wrenching love story. It’s been a long time since a book has captivated me enough to bring me to tears. Don’t let the sports element scare you off. I don’t watch football or any other sports, but I loved this book whole heartedly.

The Seattle Lumberjacks have never made it to the playoffs and they haven’t had a winning streak in a decade. Most of the fans have deserted them and the “Jacks” are the laughing stock of the league. What they need is a miracle. The clock is ticking and there are no more time outs.

Back in their college days Rachel and Derek were a perfect team. He was the golden child, but it was Rachel that made him shine. One mistake and their lives were changed forever. Five years later, Derek is on the verge of losing his professional football career and there is only one person who can help him. He hurt his best friend many years ago, but now she is his last hope. Pain, betrayal, and lies are a lot for anyone to get past. Can these two move beyond their differences and take one for the team?

Rachel McCormick has lost her job due to an unthinkable scandal that has also ruined her father. Her only option for employment and vindication is to take a caretaker’s job from the one man that single handedly ruined her life. Determined to prove her father’s innocence, Rachel puts her past hurts away and sets out to do her job. If it is the last thing she does, Rachel will bring down the man who broke her heart many years ago and destroyed her father: Derek Ramsey.

From the moment he started his professional career, Derek has been trying to run all his plays uphill. He has gone from a Rose Bowl MVP and Olympic Gold medalist to a washed up twenty-seven year old. Things have never been the same since he ruined his friendship with Rachel. He was injured during his first professional game and out for the rest of the season. He has been traded three times in four years, and can’t seem to catch a ball that has been tossed to him by a five year old. He knows his days are numbered. Derek has to prove himself to the new coaches before the regular season begins, one month and counting.

The secondary characters are the absolute treasures of the story. You want to smack and laugh at Tyler, the cocky overconfident quarterback. Mitch is the protective caveman of a brother, who can’t seem to see his sister as a grown woman. And Ryan, an amazing young man, is the heart and soul of the story. He captures and almost steals the whole book. He is a courageous, talented individual who crept into my heart and the cast of Fourth and Goal.

Ms. Davenport did a fantastic job on this story. Fourth and Goal is a well written sports romance novel. She told a convincing story of a woman who knows and loves the game, without alienating the readers who know nothing of the sport. With sultry and inventive sex scenes, heart breaking sorrow, nail biting football plays and a cast that is captivating and engaging, Fourth and Goal is a winner!

Love grows despite their unwillingness to acknowledge it, especially as the dangers surrounding them mount exponentially.

With characters that will fascinate in an imaginative if unforgiving environment set in the future, Ms. Jacks has penned a tale that is sure to satisfy on so many levels. The writing is superb, vivid, engaging and utterly absorbing and the conflict between the lovers and their nemesis, is particularly well done! And to think I actually felt sorry for him at the start…

This wonderful love story is filled with passion and hope in a time and place where little, if any is offered. It’s about courage and taking chances, risking it all and doing the right thing, when doing anything at all, might just get you killed. It would make a great movie! I loved it and cannot recommend Landlocked by Cindy Jacks highly enough!

I love a hot short story. It’s got to grab me right out of the box and keep my attention while burning my fingers. This is one of those rare piece of short fiction to do just that. The words flow from the page and kept me right in my seat. I had to know what would happen next and how the author had it worked out. There are very few characters in this piece, but the minimalist quality really works for this book.

I love the Mirror, Mirror books because I never know where I’ll be transported to. In this book, we get to meet Olav and Rig. The complexity in the relationship between the two is something lacking in much of the short stories I’ve read of late. It’s not a sticky sweet linear love story. The twists and turns made me turning pages to know what would happen and how. I couldn’t get enough.

When I first met Rig, I wasn’t sure I’d like him as a character. He’s in a situation where it would be easy to fall into dislike with him. But the further I got into the story, the more I liked him. Granted, I loved reading about him and Olav, but there was something about Rig that really tugged at my heart.

And when these two bodies collide? Be prepared and have a cool drink or a fan handy. You’ll be glad you did.

The author did a good job, allowing us to get to know this couple before they were plunged into danger in Panama...and I won’t give away what happens to them and ruin the plot for you. I liked the setting. I thought it was unique and the storyline different to most I’ve read. The sex scenes are well placed and there’s just the right amount for this short read. Instant attraction, steamy chemistry, and an exclusive online dating service make for a spicy treat in One Hot Australian Night, the twentieth addition to the 1 Night Stand series.

Two lonely people are brought together for a single night of passion. One is doing it to get her best friend to leave her alone about dating and the other is ready to move on after a tragedy in his life. Neither one expected the sparks to fly right from the beginning. How can two people who have been hurt so badly in the past, move on and claim their future?

Bookstore owner Zalia has only been with two men in her life and both men have cheated on her. After her last dismal breakup on Valentine’s Day, three years ago, she has determined that men can’t be trusted and that she is just fine with her current life. Now, if she could just get her best friend Kara to leave her alone, things would be perfect.

Corporate lawyer during the day, heartbroken widower at night, Xavier is lost on how to move on from the tragic loss of his wife two years ago. Unable to stay at their home, he sells the house they once shared. Now that the last piece of their past together is behind him, it is time to move forward. One night stands are a foreign concept to him. He has never slept with a woman unless he totally cared about them first. After a little too much alcohol and a gentle push from his brother and business associate, Jackson Castillo, Xavier decides to fill out the online application and let Madame Eve set him up with a one night lover.

Ms. White has written a sensual quick read. I think since the story is so short, I was unable to feel a strong connection between Zalia and Xavier. It was apparent on the pages, but I didn’t feel it inside. Even considering the lack of connection, the story was a great read. Zalia is a beautiful plus sized woman. Xavier was immediately drawn to her; it was so sweet and endearing. Their passion was steamy and intense. Ms. White did a nice little twist at the end, with a misunderstanding and resolution. She put a great big grin on my face.

Do you have an extra hour or so today? Then you have plenty of time read this book. Put your feet up, relax and escape into another hot and steamy 1 Night Stand.

Pierce the Dragon finally has the kitchen of his dreams to help with his catering business. As he breaks it in, making his signature pesto dish, in comes the peskiest pixie around, Selena. Doesn't matter that she's there to get Pierce catering a pixie event she doesn't want to be at. He doesn't want to be disturbed. So it's going to take all her skills to seduce the dragon of her dreams to do her bidding -- even if it's the last fun thing she'll ever have. Who knows? Perhaps Pierce will find that sometimes pesky pixies pack a punch just like his pesto does.

Cynnara Tregarth has written a delightfully hot story, filled with political intrigue and hidden agendas in the magical lands of the Pixies and other magic folk.

Selena needs to convince Pierce to cater a party for her mother, Queen of the Pixies. It’s a party she doesn’t want to be at, as it means the end of her freedom. Pierce is the best chef in the realm, and his dragon is ready to settle down. But he wants Selena, and she may not feel the same about him.

When things go a bit crazy at the party, Selena and Pierce discover they have more going for them than they thought, and the elf Selena’s mother has chosen for her reveals that he actually already has one mate he loves. Prince Elvus has been with Ferrus for five years, and married to him for two of those years. There is more than meets the eye to the Elven King’s desire to see the Elves and Pixies form this union. Can Pierce and Selena uncover the truth behind this union? Will they find another way to satisfy everyone’s goals, without losing each other?

The characters are well developed and fun, and the passions of all flow freely. I love the world Ms Tregarth has created here and would like to visit again to meet more of her inhabitants.

Selena has always been more than just another silly Pixie. She is smart, determined and very independent. She has seen the damage her mother the Queen has done with her extravagances, and wants to help all of her people. I liked that she never told Pierce that she was the Princess, wanting to be able to be herself around him. I enjoyed watching as she realized just what her favorite Dragon chef meant to her.

Pierce has gotten used to Selena and her pesky ways, and he has decided that it is time he took a stand. He is strong, handsome and determined that Selena will be his, no matter what he has to do. I liked watching as he set things in motion to make everything turn out for the best for everyone. I also liked that he was willing to admit his feelings and desires in front of everyone, even before Selena admitted anything.

Prince Elvus and his mate Ferrus are both very strong characters, but are both willing to sacrifice their love to get what they see as their rightful land. I enjoyed seeing Selena prove to them that they could have what they desired without having to give each other up or marry for anything other than love.

The political wrangling between the Queen and the Elven King was easily handled, and the eventual solution was perfect for all concerned. There is one very public claiming ceremony between Selena and Pierce, and between Elvus and Ferrus, and that scene heats up the story to a new level of hot. This is a terrific short story for a warm summer evening.

Mikayla and her men are settling in to their new life back on Earth, getting used to the farming life and trying to start their family. Things are finally getting back to normal... well as normal as it can be for a woman with eight handsome and sexy husbands.

When Mikayla’s best friend Tracey comes to visit, she is delighted, until she senses this isn’t strictly a social call. It seems trouble still looms for Mikayla and for Tracey: the man they testified against, the one who tried to sell them into slavery, has been released, and is determined to eliminate the only two witnesses against him. Throw in a letter from Peter’s former fiancée, and Mikayla’s attempts to get pregnant, and the tension goes sky high. What other dangers lay in store for the Davidson family before they get their happy ever after?

I enjoyed seeing everyone working together to make this relationship work, and was delighted that we get a look into the future with this one.

As always, Mikayla is spirited and sassy, enjoying each of her husbands’ attentions in their quest to start their family. She is determined to be as independent as someone with eight strong men around her can be, but when the danger arrives, she also understands that her men need to protect her. I liked that she understood and was able to rein in her streak of defiance for a while.

As always, Mikayla’s men are up to the challenge, and they also have help, as all three of Tracey’s men are there as well. I liked catching up with everyone, from Tracey’s pregnancy news, to the surprise news from their old nemesis Jessie, Peter’s former fiancée. There are more than a few surprises here, and one very dangerous scene that threatens everyone’s happiness, but Ms Blake was very ingenious in how she tied this up.

I enjoyed catching up with everyone, and enjoyed the creativity Mikayla’s husbands used to make sure that no one knew just who the father of the children would be. In my opinion, this is the hottest of the six books, and it provides a satisfying finale to the adventures of Mikayla and her eight husbands. I recommend this series to anyone who likes hot action, mixed with romance and a touch of danger. But be sure you read them in order, as they are not stand-alone stories.

Megan's late again, and David is getting tired of waiting on her. However, Megan and her roommates Jared and Michael are going to make it up to David in a big way. They're hoping he'll level up his domestic situation and join them in a never-ending foursome.

Looking for a book about a a guy with a girlfriend who has two male roommates? Want sex in said story, too? Then you need to read Level Up. I'm glad I did.

When I get a book by Lena Austin, I know there will be lots of sweaty, hot sex. I wasn't disappointed. I knew there would be lots of interaction, but holy crumb cakes, Batman. I didn't realize there was so much four bodies could do. The words flowed from the pages and kept me right in my seat. I had to know what would happen next and how the characters would react to what occurred.

Lena Austin manages to paint a clear picture of her sci-fi world in a mere thirty-two pages. I felt like I was right there and man, I needed a cool drink.

If I had a complaint, it was really minor. I liked the characters and didn't want the story to end. I wished Ms. Austin had it a tad longer, but this is a short story and I didn't feel short changed. Rather, I was so involved I needed more. I have to say I was totally taken by Jared and Michael. This is very much Dave and Megan's story as well as Dave's journey, but I fell for Michael and Jared. They made me laugh and, whew are they hot...

If you want a short story that's guaranteed to make you giggle, sweat, and sigh, then you need to read Level Up. It's a good read.

Fate is a wind that can change at the drop of a heart…

Bandicoot Cove, Book 2

Paige has enjoyed every no-strings-attached minute with her two Australian lovers, Trent and Mason. Over the past eleven months, they’ve surfed, hiked…and explored their seemingly limitless sexual chemistry.

Her lovers’ invitation to the opening of a new resort comes at the ideal time, because in a few days she’s returning to Canada. It’ll be a fitting swan song for their easygoing relationship. A chance to fulfill a few fantasies and then escape before her men realize she’s broken the rules by falling in love with them both. Better to take flight than be forced to choose.

Unaware of Paige’s self-imposed deadline, Trent and Mason scheme to get Paige on their yacht for a once-in-a-lifetime voyage with one goal in mind: break the news that they’re ready for something more than casual—and hope she doesn’t run like hell.

It’s a delicate operation that’ll require close attention to which way her emotional winds are blowing. One wrong word, and their paradise-perfect arrangement could be lost in an instant.

When your playtime comes to an end do you give up pleasure times two gracefully or do you go out kicking and screaming? There wasn’t so much kicking in Paige, Trent and Mason’s story but there was plenty of screaming…the good kind!

Welcome to Bandicoot Cove or if you read the smoking hot prequel, Exotic Indulgence, Welcome Back! These are four stories that are intertwined between a couple of sets of siblings and some friendships that go deeper than family.

In book 2, we meet Aussie’s Trent and Mason. They have been sharing a torrid fling with Canadian born pastry chef Paige Kingston. Similar to book 1, the reader is thrown head long into the middle of their relationship or in Paige’s mind the end of their year long no-strings fling. The problem is one that is typical in a casual romance, emotions become involved when no one’s looking. When Paige realizes she unintentionally broke the cardinal rule of flings -- falling in love -- she sees no other choice but to leave. Too bad the men have other, very specific, plans. Plans that involve a couch that isn’t, a boat built for three, and a little slice of Paradise.

One of the aspects of this short story I appreciated, since it begins with a bang, is the bits of backstory Ms. Arend throws in along the way. Paige and Trent both give us some flashbacks of that first intense meeting that guaranteed Paige was the adventurous and outgoing woman they craved. I also liked how no one was overly self-assured of their HEA. Doubts are real. Questions are real. Misunderstandings are real. Ms. Arend does a beautiful job of building the relationship outside the bedroom where the readers feels the chemistry that is honest and not just based on sex.

It isn’t necessary to have read book 1 in this series to enjoy Paradise Found but it does provide a nice setup for the other stories, so I recommend beginning with Exotic Indulgence and then find your way to Paradise and beyond. These are quick reads but you won’t feel shorted on story or satisfaction.
